Me being gender critical doesn’t erase your identity and isn’t a call for trans people to be killed. Women are allowed to structurally analyize social theory, regardless of if you agree with them or not. If you can’t tell the difference between political analysis, and a call for a mass extermination, then you probably shouldn’t be given your own political platform.

a concerned mother has a gender non-conforming daughter who apparently gets bullied for being gender non-conforming. the mother's first thought: if we can't change her behaviour to match her gender, then we should change her gender to match her behaviour!

of course, the "advice" this subreddit gave is phenomenal, not at all cult-like and super normal:

"wait till she's ready to come out" yeah because even though she has not said anything about having gender dysphoria or anything, she's definetly going to be transgender, the question is just when she's going to realise it

ah yeah, we're already using they/them pronouns for an eleven year old child. totally normal behaviour. also, please already schedule for puberty blockers!

Please, get her on puberty blockers already! it's bad enough that she is a gender non-conforming girl, please stop her from becoming her every gendie's worst nightmare: a gender non-conforming 🙀 woman 🙀

I mean the craziest and most uncomfortable thing about this thread is that this girl has never said anything about wanting to be a boy, about hating her body, about feeling uncomfortable as a girl. If she had expressed gender dysphoria, I would at least kinda get it (even though it would be wrong either way). but the only crime this girl has committed is being a gender non-conforming person.

The other day I saw this (very valid) comment that was being replied to after op said that it was transphobic to leave trans ‘women’ out of lesbian spaces.

This is how she replied. Claiming oppression for a valid statement. The replies made me feel sick to my stomach too.

Why is being a lesbian made to be complicated nowadays?
