A Mother's Revelation
(This is another ancient folk tale. It's origin is entirely unknown. It's widely accepted that the mother is the Mother of Gods and the son is Hekatos, but there's nothing in history that matches the events in story. Maybe it's something yet to come?)
Once upon a time, there lived a queen and her husband. She thought he was happy to be married to her. However, after they gave birth to a crowned prince, the queen was stripped of her title and cast out of the kingdom. The queen became the estranged mother.
Time passed. The father died and the son became the king, and he would rule with an iron fist. He put walls on the country's borders to force the already overcrowded population to stay. He was taxing the poor into starvation. He would kill anyone that opposed him.
The mother had been living in poverty since she was deposed. She saw first hand the pain and suffering her son's actions caused the people. So, she stood up and lead the revolution.
Leading the charge, the mother led the revolution to the capital. Even the military joined, something that robbed her son of all power. They stormed the palace and they met the king in his office. The mother stabbed him herself.
"I created you, so I have the power to destroy you." She said, looking him in the eyes as the life left him.
It was a resounding victory for the revolution, and the people were quick to name the mother as their new leader. It was a role she was happy to take, as she thought she could bring great changes to the kingdom. She was going to use the nation's gold to buy supplies. She was going to let people leave the nation's borders to solve the over population crisis.
However, that all changed when she went to dismantle the wall and saw what was on the other side:
Nothing.
They were all alone in this world, there was nowhere else to go. There was no one else to trade with. Their already depleted land was all they had left.
She realized that if the people saw this, they would be demoralized and give up, so she closed up the borders. Realizing there was not enough food to go around, she literally had to decide which neighborhoods would starve. And when people started to stand up against her, that's when she started executing people right and left.
She knew what she was doing was wrong. However, she understood that if there was a villain to fight, there was always someone to blame for their problems. As long as she could one day be defeated, the people had hope of things getting better.
It was a role she was happy to fill.

Species Highlight: Minutians
Of the plethora of species in the multiverse, none are as small and deadly as the minutians. The look like tiny, plump humans, no taller than 75 centimeters. They were initially from the world of Kicsi where they originally lived as staunch isolationist against non-minutians.
The most famous aspect about them, outside their stature, is their fighting prowess. Minutians are the inventors and sole masters of the martial art, Kislab. This allows them to jump magnificent heights, attack with significant damage, display impossible feats of strength, and soak damage like it's nothing. Their attacks have been known to bypass even the defenses of gods and deities. Because of this, they'd later be popular bodyguards for merchants traveling to worlds with a pantheon.
Even back in their isolationist days, they were infamous. Their enemies gave them the name "minutians" and they wore it like a badge of honor. This is because they never saw their height as a weakness. In fact, they saw it as their greatest strength. As a great philosopher of their kind once famously said, "the tall aren't accustomed to fighting while looking at their feet."
That's the general attitude among their kind. Their species general mindset is "live bigger." They are an entire species of go getters, often choosing to aim higher than what's at reach.
Many races would try to conquer their homeworld of Kicsi and fail. At least, that was until the final campaign of the magas.
The magas were a species of giants who didn't like that such tiny beings were wiping the floor with them. They would invade the minutian homeworld many times and failed each time. That was until the made a deal with Hekatos.
The end result was the destruction of Kicsi and the death of the minutian royal family. It also lead to the extinction of the magas, because Hekatos.
Most of the minutians would escape the destruction of their homeworld, but with them being homeless and without leadership, they'd scatter throughout the multiverse.
Though, of course, the loss of everything wasn't a huge deal for the minutians. They'd eventually see it as a mixed blessing as it brought an end to the isolationist attitudes of the past and launched them into a brand new future full of potential.
"We were cowards before. We hid on our world thinking we were better than the multiverse, but in doing so we let the multiverse defeat us! When was it ever in line for us to think so small? I say, we show those off-universe cloudheads what we are really made of!" - Gen. Benci Csepel, address to the minutian evacuation fleet

Species Highlight: Ishiki
Long ago, there lived a people called the bōru. They were basically coconut people. I don't mean they were wearing coconuts, they WERE coconuts.
They were spherical, furry, and about the size of an exercise ball. They lacked eyes, a mouth, or any other features. They typically were brown in color, though they were sometimes green or yellow. Their insides composed of a semi-solid substance that they would shift around, allowing themselves to roll. When sleeping, their innards would rest into a complete fluid. They would sense the world around them and communicate through telepathic abilities.
A single crack would be deadly for a bōru, as they would leak out the moment they fell asleep. However, they saw it as a blessing as they got to be sent off by their friends and family before they went out. Upon leaking out, they'll also release a seed that could grow into a Bōru tree, and their innards can serve as a fertilizer. Because of this, their culture used to have a strong fatalistic ideology.
However, one day, a Bōru would leak out and not die. She was a conduit, and because of her abilities, she kept living as semi-solid liquid. Taking inspiration from human visitors, she would form her body into a humanoid shape during the day. She was the first ishiki, and she would call herself Sunny Cross.
Through her survival, she would discover that living as a coconut slime person wasn't just a conduit thing. Every single one of her people could do it if they knew how to. When she informed her people of this however, she was shunned and exiled from their society for defying the natural order. However, the damage was done. The knowledge was out there, and it was only a matter of time before all her kind would join her in the multiverse.
Now-a-days, the ishiki see their coconut phase as adolescence, adopting the world "Bōru" to mean "child" in their society. They would find that their new bodies do not age or damage easily, and can withstand even the harshest environments. Because of this, they are very daring explorers in the multiverse, often colonizing worlds that most species wouldn't even dare.
Their telepathic abilities have evolved upon becoming a multiversal race. They've honed their powers so every ishiki was connected telepathically at some level. This would create the greater hivemind, and a single ishiki would rise up as the mother of all ishiki. The "Mother Mind" is practically a religious figure and her thoughts became the gold standard for how an ishiki should live and think. Or at least, that's among the devout. As history would tell us time and time again, whenever someone tries to introduce only one way of living, dissenters were always to follow.
This would divide the ishiki into three groups:
First Consciousness: Ishiki that follow the Mother Mind's thoughts and feelings to the letter. They generally think of any of their kind that don't follow her doctrine a heretic.
Second Consciousness: Ishiki who respect and learn from Mother Mind's teachings, but don't hold them as a gospel. They tend to build their own moral codes instead of following the gold standard.
Anti-Consciousness: These Ishiki do the exact opposite of what the Mother Mind wants. They often become terrorists and criminals.
The First Consciousness consider the Second as the greatest threat to the ishiki. As dangerous at the Anti's are, they are still unknowingly slaves to the Mother Mind's will, while the Seconds actually introduce rebellious ways of thinking.
Ishiki's have colonized hundreds of thousands of worlds and hold a very valued position here in the Crossroads. Sunny Cross, the first ishiki, actually has served as a famous member of the Time Agency for centuries. Many books and movies were made of her exploits traveling through timelines. She however, feels little connection to her race however, still feeling the sting of rejection thousands of years later.

The Queen and the Puppet
(This is an ancient folk tale that originated in Multiverse B. It might have historical significance so I'm telling it here. Hope you enjoy!)
Once upon of time, there lived a puppet.
She and her master lived nowhere, and everyday they would put on puppet shows for no one. Despite this, the puppet was happy. However, her master was not.
One day, he left, and the puppet was left alone on her little stage. Though her master's departure broke her heart, she kept on doing her puppet shows even without him. She learned how to move her legs and arms, she learned how to speak on her own. Eventually, she could do her shows even without her master.
And that's how she lived for hundreds of years: got up every day to put on a show for no one in the middle of the nowhere.
One day, while she was putting on a show, a lost merchant came through. Though they only came to the stage to ask for directions, they were quickly transfixed on the the puppet's dancing. For the first time in her life, she had an audience.
Fear took her and she started to make mistakes. 'that step was a little off' she'd think, 'also I'm swinging my arms too much.'
Yet, no matter how many times she would fret, the merchant applauded her in the end. They told her she was the most amazing act they ever seen. As they left, they promised to come back to see her show again.
One day, they would make good on their promise, but to her surprise, they brought three others to also see her show.
Less nervous this time, she did her act flawlessly and she got an ovation.
Each day, more and more came. Soon she was dealing with entire crowds. A village had sprung up around her overtime to cater to the tourists.
Thanks to the influx of people they discovered a deep underground reservoir. People came in to capitalize on the new water source. A town became a city.
The puppet no longer lived in the middle of nowhere. Now she was the center of a gigantic community. Because of that, they named her the Princess of this new land. She didn't take the title all to seriously, or at least not at first.
One day, a Queen came to the puppet's show. She was breath takingly beautiful. Just seeing her made the puppet's heart flutter.
She watched, she applauded, she enjoyed every minute. However, just before the curtain fell, the queen came to her with a proposal:
"I'm required to find someone royal to wed. Though you weren't born of royal blood, you have earned your crown by bringing joy to others, and now you have brought joy to me. Please, marry me, my Princess!"
The puppet, overwhelmed with emotion, accepted. They both would live happily every after.
The End

Full Stop
Sorry for the long absence, raising a kid is a full time job apparently. Let's mark my return with a discussion of the mysterious multiversal planet, Full Stop!
Back in the early days, there were legends of a mythical world, a paradise that orbited around the center of the multiverse. It's believed it was created at the same time as crossroads by the Mother of Gods herself. However, in those early days it was merely a legend, something the Early freeholders would tell tall tales about. Some would say it's full of mountains of gold. Others would speak endlessly about the treasure trove of rare ingredients and spices. No matter how many vouch for its existence, none would deliver any actual proof.
That was until a famous interdimensional explorer named Captain Calid Caenidis came along. He spent 37 years of his life searching for the fabled world, until one day he stumbled across it during one one of his sweeps. He confirmed it was the legendary planet as its orbital path was consistent with the stories.
Upon setting foot on the world, he discovered a lush garden planet filled with thousands upon thousands of different kinds of flora from all over the multiverse. Not just many kinds of trees, but many kinds of vegetation, about 30% edible. According to his records, he and his crew were easily able to gather enough to feed all of them from foraging around.
One plant that would become famous are the solar flowers. Because the world didn't orbit around a sun, they would serve as the world's sole source of light. During the day they would ascend high into the atmosphere, lighting and warming up the world. Conversely at night they'd dim and fall to the ground.
While the world would have many names up to the point, it would get the name "Full Stop" from the Captain himself. While he was overjoyed by his accomplishment at first, he would eventually grow disillusioned at his life's goal being over and done with. He would decide to stay on the world, tasking his first mate to tell the multiverse about his discovery.
He would famously say: "Stories don't end with a happily ever after. No, they end with a full stop."
His extensive records and photographic evidence would be enough to convince people in the Crossroads of the existence of Full Stop, and many expeditions would be sent over the eons. Some were more successful than others.
Scientists were able to get a mana sample from the planet and determine that it truly was created by the Mother of Gods. Its purpose is still unknown.
Something to note, when Caenis first showed up to Full Stop, he did a full scan of the world and found there was one person already on it. He initially panicked thinking someone beat him to the discovery, however he would never encounter the stranger. Many expeditions that actually reach the world would pick up the individual in their scans, but all attempts to reach them have been for naught. They must be immortal, as it's the same magical signature over thousands of years of expeditions. Besides that, the person that lives on Full Stop remains a mystery to this day.

The Earthen Calender vs The Wakrayan Calendar
While there are many different kinds of Calendars out in the multiverse, two kinds are the most common: The Earthen Calendar, and the Wakrayan Calendar.
Most of my former students are either familiar with the Wakrayan one, so let’s cover the Earthen on first!
--------------------
Earthen Calendar:
This calendar is composed of 12 months! It was believed to have been created by one of the viewer dimensions and it trickled down to us though Multiversal Osmosis (remind me to do an article on viewer dimensions!)
This is considered the standard Calendar for Earth-like dimensions, possibly even the calendar of the original Earth!
This calendar is notoriously obtuse. It’s hard to math out and the months feel so short. However, if you want the authentic Earth experience, this is your best bet!
60 seconds = 1 minute
60 minutes = 1 hour
24 hours = 1 day
7 days = 1 week
4 weeks = 1 month
12 months = 1 year.
365.25 day = 1 year
-
1. January
2. February
3. March
4. April
5. May
6. June
7. July
8. August
9. September
10. October
11. November
12. December
--------------------
Wakrayan Calendar:
This calendar was created and named after a goddess that existed early in the Multiverse’s history. It was designed specifically for easy use by gods and goddess alike who want to make a world that specifically caters to their needs. Think of it like the metric system but with time!
This calendar is the standard way to track time in the Crossroads! Considering we don’t have a rotation, it was a matter of choosing between the two. The Earthen camp fought hard, but the ease of use won out in the end!
The name of the months comes from Kimathi’s Pantheon, one of the earliest trendsetters in this regard!
100 seconds = 1 minute
100 minutes = 1 hour
10 hours = 1 day
10 days = 1 week
10 weeks = 1 month
10 months = 1 year
1000 days = 1 year

2. Wakran
3. Ade

5. Bunelle

Harmony and Chaos
Ah yes, one of the greatest debates of the known multiverse! While those two words may invoke very specific imagery for us mortals, gods have a very different idea on what those words mean!
See, gods are the writers of destiny and fate! To a god, Harmony is when a destiny is followed and eventually fulfilled. Meanwhile, Chaos is when mortals choose their fates for themselves.
From this perspective, a hero mowing down demons to save a princess is considered harmonious. Meanwhile, a high school girl just aimlessly going through life would be considered chaotic.
Because of this, the evil and the wicked tend to be unwitted arbiters of Harmony. If they never antagonize the heroes, then destiny was never set in motion!
Meanwhile chaos tends to be more morally grey. There’s no clear good guys or bad guys, no real story, just life doing its thing naturally!
Gods and mortals alike have long debated the merits and demerits of each. Those that support Harmony cite how simplistic it makes everything, how everyone has a role to play and you just don’t have to waste energy thinking about it. Those that support Chaos speak of freedom, complex relationships, nuance!
Which one is right? Heck if I know for certain! Though I admittedly fall in the Chaos camp myself. That could partially be bias as I lead a fairly “chaotic” lifestyle. I mean, my role in destiny finished the day I was born as the wrong version of myself after all. No way I could play into anyone else’s destiny at this point! Hahahaha!

The Chaos Rangers
They are the closest group to be called a rival to the Crossroads in power and prestige! The Crossroads is the center and capital of the multiverse, but The Chaos Rangers are the gas station pit stops along the way!
The group was founded by a mysterious person who is codenamed “Foxman.” It was founded as bastion for anyone leading a life of chaos that may need a helping hand.
They have strongholds, settlements, and bunkers scattered throughout the multiverse, and they leave their doors open to anyone in need within reason, from refugees to just random travelers wanting a roof over their heads.
One thing they can provide that the Crossroads can’t (outside convenience,) is magical services! They have stuff like magic schools, magical supplies, even have psychiatry specialized for treating The Curse of Mortal Delusion. Countless gods owe their lives to such treatments!
One downside of relying on the Chaos Rangers are rumors of wrong doing amongst the leadership. It’s believed the person known as “Foxman” has ties to Hekatos, and there’s evidence that he has used the organization to harbor dangerous people in the past. However, considering the Crossroads has it’s own history of shady deals and controversy, some people might see it as the lesser of two evils.

The Void Blade
Often considered the most dangerous weapon known to all of reality, the Void Blade is a sword made of pure void. It is a weapon that could even kill the gods.
It is believed that it was crafted by traveling to a universe where the void turns into metal upon contact. Someone collected a lot of stuff and forged it into the shape of a sword. Then, the bladesmith sacrifices an entire universe, compressing it around the blade, effectively making it into a conduit of sorts.
A single cut from the blade will destroy anything, even a god. The cut will turn into pure void and spread across the body before consuming them, atomizing the body. If they were a magic user, their magic is left behind unscathed, ready to be taken by the victor.
The hilt is the most complex aspect of the weapon. Inside it’s clear metal casing are a number of tiny universes, each one serving the purpose of altering the rules of the blade. Because of this, the blade itself is fickle on it’s user.
Only wielders with regret for the kill they are about to make can use the weapon unharmed. If not, the sword will kill them too. For those who are not evil, but still about to use the weapon remorselessly, it’ll give them a warning sizzle before they use the weapon. However, the cruel and the wrathful would be instantly killed upon touching the blade.
There are many many many copies of the blade out there due to alternate timelines. You’ll recognize it by the fact that its blade is pure white and it’s hilt is full of stars. The blade from hilt to tip is 100 cm exactly and 2.5 cm wide.
If you encounter it, you’re better off leaving it alone. Some powers are just not worth messing with.

Destiny Machines
Ah yes, one of the most requested topics for an article! I would have covered it sooner but it took me a while to iron out everything I could say about it.
Destiny machines are powerful super computers usually running on magic (technically considered magitec.) Every single effective example of one existing has been shockingly huge! The most notable discovered destiny machine was in Ishtar’s Pantheon which was the size of an entire town! Because of this, they are very hard to to hide.
Basically what they do is that the user would input a destiny, of something they want to happen, and the computer will reach out into the multiverse and make it happen! It’ll make very very small changes that lead a particular person to a specific conclusion. Like sometimes a difference between having sugar in my coffee and not having sugar. It is possible to defy these changes, but a lot of them are so small that they are hard to notice.
Most of the time, destiny machines are used for small destinies, like “this guy will will kill a dragon” or “that guy would die a very specific death.” However, there are cases of really really complex destinies being imputed into these things, and doing so will have very interesting results!
And, I guess there’s no point beating around the bush now, we all know I’m a result of a destiny machine!
Hello, my name is Peppi. I am one of the many girls carrying that name, and carrying this face. I am a member of the Pep Squad, a team composed of other Peppis with the mission of discovering the meaning of our creation!
See, something interesting occurs when a destiny machine is asked to allow a person to exist, one that’ll effect the multiverse at large. The machine will reach out into the multiverse and engineer scenarios where people with just the right genes would pushed towards having a baby together, just the perfect genes to make the exact same baby. It’ll make as many versions of this baby until it achieves one that can complete the destiny being set.
As mentioned, I’m one of many girls named Peppi with the same face, just as there are many alt universe versions of my wife. The two of us have been destined as partners by the machine. Both are always gendered female, though many aren’t sexed as such and have to transition later in life (such as myself!)
Someone, a god probably, really wanted two girls to exist: one named Peppi, the other’s name is variable. One of the versions of me and one of the versions of my wife are supposed to come together and they would complete a great destiny together!
So far, the pair who are supposed to complete the destiny in question have not surfaced.
Heh, admittedly the gals and i have been making bets on what the main Peppi is going to be like. My money’s on the main Peppi being a transwoman too, and that her relationship with her partner will be romantic.
Oh yeah! For some reason, the nature of our relationship isn’t as tied down. Some of us get romantically involved with our destined partners, others build lifelong friendships, some even become rivals!
It’s really exciting honestly! Every time we find a new version of Peppi it’s like a holiday at the office! Seeing so many ways our lives could have turned out! I love the universe where I become a rock star! “Put a bit of Pep in your life” touches my fucking soul!
Back on topic, I can’t really talk about the Pep Squad much more than that. I quit the squad years ago and only rejoined after recently losing my job. They used to be part of the Dimension Agency, but they’ve been distancing themselves as of late as the information they’ve been digging up is big enough to alter the current flow of history if fallen in the wrong hands. The Crossroads government asks way too many questions. This is also the reason why I can’t speak of it here!
I’m sorry if that’s not enough for you guys, but some things just can’t be released to the public!

Message to my readers
Many of you have noted the more informal way I’ve been conducting this blog as of late. For people not in the know, I’m not a teacher anymore. I’m writing this blog purely for education/entertainment, and I can’t help it if people find my bullshit entertaining!
Now that we’ve cleared that, fuck Sr. Agent Salt! You thousand year old fuck, thanks for the fucking school lay offs you fucker! Nice to know you pulled strings with Central to line your fucking coin purse you piece of shit! Last time I checked, the Time Agency had nothing to do with the school system, but you decided you were going to stick your wrinkly old dick where it doesn’t belong! Fuck you! Go sleep in a grave somewhere and let nepotism take it’s course you bastard!
That is all.
I hope to put out more articles soon!

Magic
Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’ve been studying magic and all it’s complexities. While I’ve covered this in the past, I don’t think I’ve done the subject justice, so I’m devoting this article to going a bit more in depth!
So each magic user has cosmic energy inside them. This is made of the same substance as the void except it’s properties are localized to it’s host instead of the law of the world around it.
This energy can be quantified into a number. Many think this is the best way to measure a magic user’s worth but it’s simply not true. The cosmic energy, like the void, is merely a canvas. The size of your canvas doesn’t matter as much as what you intend to do with it.
When you cast a “spell,” you’re using your own cosmic energy to make an alteration to the universe. This could be as simple as making yourself eternally youthful or changing your sex, or it can be complex as shooting fire from your wrist. However, in order to do this, you’ll need a platform.
How I best understood how magic works was to imagine the coding of a computer. Your cosmic energy is your power source, your hard disk, and your internet connection.
Your platform, would be your Operating System, a means of interpreting the data of the universe. Angels, demons, and species who’ve evolved to use magic would have a biologically crafted platform, while others would need to use wands.
With your platform, you can craft the coding necessary to create the spells, which would be the software in this analogy. Re coding the universe is ridiculously difficult as you need to consider the physics, location, and all random elements of an effect in order to do it successfully.
Some devote their lives to spellcrafting, while others just download spells off the internet. This is one downside of having a biological platform, it’s difficult to download spells into your own head. Some may even wind up using a wand anyways just to serve as the middle man in the scenario. A lot of species that have evolved to use magic will be born with spells specific to their kind, and many just stick the spells they already have instead of dealing with the hassle.
And finally, something I’ve mentioned the last time I talked about magic: bio economy. This would be the memory of the the analogy.
When casting a spell, you need to store that residual energy somewhere. For most, this means the magic seeps into the molecules of their own body. While it’s invisible to the naked eye, each spell you cast takes up a bit of your bio economy. The magic slowly fades away overtime, but not fast enough to the point you wouldn’t be at risk if you cast too often.
If 100% of your bio economy is consumed by magic, you will be sent into influx and suffer cosmic immolation. If another magic user doesn’t impede on the process, the magic user will be vaporized.
It should be noted that everyone’s bio economy is different. Some assume just having a bigger body would effect your economy size, but that’s only somewhat true. As you become more skilled as a magic user, your molecules get better and better holding magic. Also your cosmic energy grows as well as you continue to practice magic.
What divides divine magic and basic magic is the ability to access and alter the rules. A magic user can only make alterations to the existing rules of the universe, while a god can change them altogether. When a magic user gains this ability, they’ve met the very basic requirement to ascend into godhood!

Dragons
Tumblr media
Dragons are fierce reptilian beings that can be found all over the Multiverse. They’ve existed countless years, many since the beginning. They are an ancient race, each one a deity of immense power and wisdom.
Not much is known about then as they hold many of their secrets to their chest. However what little they have spoken about is nothing short but fantastical!
They apparently originated from another multiverse altogether, one where gods play a much larger role than they do in ours! Even among their home they’ve existed for billions of years, becoming more and more powerful with each passing eon.
However, there was one god more powerful than all of them, a being named the Earth Mother.
At the eve of the death of their own multiverse, the Earth Mother approached the dragons and gave them a choice: either stay, and get consumed by the end of everything, or to flee to another multiverse and buy themselves time before the end.
So, they came here. Some, like Marduk of Kimathi’s Pantheon, brought a civilization with them. Some found a home to live in among the worlds that already exist! Some decided to become protectors, while others became hermits or vagabonds.
But regardless, they’ll forever be an endless of omnipotent presence in our multiverse!

Afterlife Tourism
When we die, we cease to exist.
To most in the multiverse, this is truth. There is no general concept of a soul, there’s no afterlife. In the end of the day, we’re just meat.
However, if that idea is depressing, let it be known that this isn’t true in all universes.
Quite a few universes, most likely with a the help of god(s), have the means to generate souls for people. Some of the scientists down at the Laboratories believe this is done through converting the inner workings of the body into divine power.
Because of this, the mind could survive death. Many of these universes have an afterlife you can go to.
People unsatisfied with the finality of the default way to die will travel to universes with pleasant afterlives. Particularly one with a form of “Heaven” that’s easy to get into. Well known examples being Kimathi’s Pantheon and the Endless Republic of Ko.
The Crossroads doesn’t condone this practice however. Largely because it’s hard to judge an afterlife without dying. Often travel agencies will intentionally hype up a particular universe out of personal interest, and many people find themselves trapped in a shitty afterlife because they trusted the wrong person’s word.
Also too many people seek a particular afterlife due to loopholes they could jump through. This creates the logical conundrum of too many horrible people flooding another culture’s afterlife, making it worse in every way.
Despite the risk, many still flock out into the multiverse, finding a place for their eternal rest.

The Curse of Mortal Delusion
I think I might revisit magic users down the line! I’ve been doing research and I don’t think I’ve gone indepth enough! I may even gotten a few facts wrong. I apologize for this. Despite everything, I’m only human.
For now, I’d like to discuss an aspect of godhood that caught my attention recently. The Magical Studies Department of Multiuniverse Laboratories refers to it as Post-Mortal Denial. However, many gods know it as The Curse of Mortal Delusion.
When a god ascends, they usually take a form similar to what they had as a mere mortal, but really their entire body has reconfigured in the new state of divinity. To them, nothing has changed outside feeling a heck of a lot more powerful, but in actuality every single atom has been altered.
It’s an important distinction that gods are not mortals in the slightest, but the thing is, they behave that they are. They imitate the shapes and personalities of mortals. A true god, a full god does not have a personality, they are the embodiment of the virtues they represent, and that’s ALL THEY DO! No thoughts, no personality, no form. Most gods see this as death, so they fight to keep a mortal shape in order to keep themselves.
This comes at a large price.
Buying yourself agency means you’re part of the game. And being part of the game means having holes in your omniscience, particularly of your own fate.
Exacerbating the fact is that the first thing your omniscience tells you upon ascending is that you will die some day, but does not tell you how, when, or why. Just, a horrible gut feeling of the inevitable. Some gods go nuts trying to stop their own deaths, only to be completely blindsided when it actually happens.
Another price of keeping a mortal shape is rules. Gods can do anything, but part of being mortal is you got to follow a set of rules. So most gods have to set a code for themselves and just stick to it forever, just to keep themselves from going omnipresent.
For example, it’s often theorized that the reason Hekatos stick so stringently to his contracts and deals is because he set rules that he had to manage his powers that way. That’s probably how he keeps his shape.
It should be noted that, while gods can use their omniscience to find out their own fate, they still can do research. They can still use their eyes and their ears to learn things, develop wisdom. Considering many gods live for eons, they maybe able to come off as truly omniscient! But really they are drawing of the knowledge they already have from experience.

AAAAHHHHH!!!
I was JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS SHOW!
Then all the sudden BAM! Promo for the next season! It’s so soon even! I mean, Ade? Season 15 just finished, and you’re telling me it’s coming out in Ade? That’s insane! How do they get these out so quickly?
I can’t wait to tell my wife!
And that’s a telling image! Not only is the crown off the Queen’s head, but it’s all rusted! Is this a time skip? I don’t know how to feel about a time skip! I want to know what kind of sexy hijinks Bunibel and Peppi get into while deposed! You can’t skip over years of possible sex scenes!
I really like the sex scenes.
And, what’s going to happen to the maid? I thought Season 16 was going to show a scene explaining why she doesn’t immediately bounce as soon as her service is released! With a time skip they can’t just, realistically have her around! Not without an explanation!
Maybe a flashback will explain it?
They can’t just, have her leave the show in between seasons! No! No! That’s so wrong! That would leave so many plot threads dangling, they can’t do that!
And what about the Doctor? Is she still going to be around? Come on, don’t kick the good Doc to the side! Please? I’d prefer if you didn’t!

Pandora’s History
Tumblr media
This is a continuation from the last post! Pandora’s past is so influential and huge, I felt like it deserved it’s own focus!
A long time ago, at some point in the final timeline, there lived a young woman. Not much is known about her life. All that is known was that she was adopted and raised by one of my counterparts and she lived to be in her early 20s.
The burdens of the world weighed heavy on her heart. In a critical moment, she contemplated suicide. For whatever reason, the basis of her decision turned into a critical choice fracture, one that would have great effects on the multiverse at large.

The initial two options on the surface are to do and to do not. However, choices aren’t that simple. They could go in many directions!
You might recognize the names of some of the timelines above. Especially Garcia Dynasty as it was the location of the hit reality tv series. I apologize for my lack of professionalism here but, I really love that show! I mean, of course I do! Don’t get too many shows starring me!

Mother’s blessing, wasn’t that season finale a blast? I love it when the maid would sass Bunibel! Their interactions are the best! My favorite part was when Buni said “I wonder what’s for dinner today?” and the maid was all “the Queen, obviously!” My sides were hurting I was laughing so hard!
Seeing myself in so many beautiful dresses! I didn’t know i could look that good! They went all out in the fashion department that episode! I have to wonder how they managed to get my hair like that! I could never get it to behave like I want it to!
That cliffhanger, that still gives me fear lumps! I can’t wait for season 16!
Sorry, I went on a tangent there! Let’s get back on track!
Anyways, Pandora!
In several of the timelines, she chose to end her life. However, in this timeline (see: Pandora’s Timeline) something in her stopped death from persisting. Like, a sudden will to live in her final moments of life. Her body still died, so her powers activated and she possessed what would become her new body: a present.
While getting used to her new body, she discovered how to split her own timeline, as well as how to communicate with her separate parts. A currently unknown agent of the Crossroads eventually greeted her in her universe, and she made the voyage out into the void.
When she exited her universe, her personal timeline dropped her off to a very early point in the multiverse’s history. Little is known about this period of her life. She somehow acquired the void ship Regalo in these early millennia despite no documented cases of that level of void technology existing back then.
Since that time, she’s been travelling the multiverse, leaving split timelines of herself everywhere.
