}{💎}{ “You do like it! Alright, then! I’ll make sure to keep it up!”
It wasn’t hard to pick up on the physical signs of enjoyment the maven was exhibiting, so she continued on the course, deepening her massage, moving her hands in a more circular motion.
“You’re Sona, right?” She asked, trying to make casual conversation. “I’m Skarner. I went to one of your concerts recently, and I absolutely loved the music. So, um, you could call this a thank you present for giving me a wonderful night, even it was an accident. So you be sure to enjoy it, okay? I’ll do my best!”
Tumblr media
Sona wanted to object to this chest massaging but she didn’t want Skarner to stop at all.
She grew to like the tingling that came from her mounds but would close her eyes to fully further enjoy this feeling.

}{💎}{ “Huh . . .”
A few more experimental squeezes to Sona’s breasts, watching the blatant reactions on Sona’s cheeks. It was . . . pleasurable? Was this what humans called a massage? True, she did enjoy rubbing her own small mounds, but perhaps the larger, the more enjoyable it was? It certainly seemed so.
So she continued rubbing and squeezing, a pleasant smile on her face. Ah, this was fun!

Squish, squish. She blinked, looking down at the maven that she’d just tripped into, sending them both onto the ground. Oh, her hands were …
Squish, squish. Once again, her fingers bunched together. Huh. They were so soft … and large, too.
She wasn’t thinking about her fingers. She was thinking about what they were accidentally squeezing.

}{💎}{ “You’re not one of the mean mermaids, are you? The ones who tempt people close with sweet song and then pull them under?” The scorpion girl creeps closer to the water’s edge, admiring the tail barely visible under the surface.
"Sorry, I'm supposed to be surprised you're a mermaid?"
‘No…but come closer cutie~’ The mermaid would beckon Skarner closer to her, blue locks floating upon the water.

}{💎}{ “Oh, you’re far too kind! I’m just in training, though I’ve applied for an internship with your studio. You know, actual practical experience!”
Skarner wasted no time ducking under the umbrella, lowering her stinger and stretching happily. Above them, the rains continued to cascade down, but underneath the umbrella with Janna, the college student felt perfectly safe.
“Did you do your weather report already? You always do such a phenomenal job, I know exactly what to expect when after I’m done listening to you! Can we, um, hang out? I’d love to learn from the best!”

Her stinger was practically quivering with excitement, though she kept it held above her head to shield herself from the rain. She finally ran into Janna, and what’s more, the reporter was flirting with her! She felt a little heat rise to her cheeks, but her attention was taken by the rumbling of thunder overhead. This storm was certainly developing nicely! Though, now that she thought of it, perhaps she’d gone too far from her apartment. She didn’t really know anybody in this part of town …
Ah, well, that was something to think about later. Right now, she was finally meeting her idol!
—≪💌≫” Ladies and gentlemen, I seem to have inspired the masses. Watch out for this shooting star folks, she’s gonna go far! “
She laughed, floating closer, extending her umbrella to cover her admirer. There was no point in having a wet student around! Unless it was in bed, of course.

A soft hiss escaped the wyrmling’s lips as she crouched away from Shyvanna warily. A dragon. If they weren’t in the middle of her house . . . she would have transformed and fought the woman right then and there. That was the only thing keeping her anger in check.

}{💎}{ “Executing defensive protocols.”
She rolled as Ashe did, stinger coming up to defend. She had no idea what the archer was planning, though, and she refused to speculate where. That knowledge would be shared with her systems, due to their link. This, she concluded, was going to hurt.
The first arrow hit home, sparks erupting from the spot, generating another hiss of pain from the scorpion. Sensors and internal alarms began to ring, warning Skarner to take evasive action, she refused. If she took direct control of her reflexes to avoid, Ashe wouldn’t have a chance. Both of them were fighting the machine, Ashe physically, Skarner mentally.
As predicted, the tail rose up, swatting the second arrow away from Skarner’s face, but blinding her from the true target. Both chainsaws fell inoperable, leaving Skarner with only one form of defense. Her tail.
Fortunately, that was the target. It was flexible, but where Ashe needed to hit, it was quite vulnerable. Skarner felt a twinge of distress. She’d designed the body to be flexible. To have it so easily beaten, it was . . . humiliating?
In a flash, she realized her emotional blockers were being neglected to run other vital defensive systems. She pushed back, hard, gaining control of her body for a split second, forcing herself to remain still, to drop her stinger into a relaxed position.
Letting the arrow smash her in the small of the back.
“E-Error. Systems failing. T-T-Total shut d-d-downnnnnn . . .”
She fell to her knees, visor going dim, the red lights vanishing as she collapsed, unconscious . . . for the first time in years. The bliss of sleep she’d been denied since waking up in her suit.

}{💎}{ “ … I will defend myself.”
Not a threat, a warning. Her body shifted into a defensive stance, sensors locking onto the arrows and calculating possible trajectory.
“My processes will shift into self-preservation mode. I believe your words, but I cannot lower my guard.” She stated, the chainsaws integrated into her arms beginning to whir dangerously.
“If you wish to liberate me, you have to outthink my body’s programming. You have to out think the Creator, the source of your woes. I …” She winced again, but she got the words out.
“I believe in you, Ashe.”
—≪♔≫ “ Alright. “
Aim. She had to be perfect, there was no room for error. She moved quickly, enhanced by her cybernetic implants. A shot to the first arm segment, then she rolled to the ground. A fake shot was tossed at her head, knowing it wouldn’t hit, but should drive it off course. A second shot was fired immediately after, aiming for the other arm segment.
She dove to the side, aiming three for her tail. Only one needed to connect in that middle grove. The last? She had to get behind her, aim one directly for the center of her back. She moved swiftly, propelling herself off a rubble surface, aiming one directly for her sweet spot.
This had to work. Her body couldn’t take much more of this exertion. She had been injured after all, but her suit allowed her to move beyond that.

She had been conditioned into this fighting machine because she had been given no choice in the matter. If she was still human, her expression would have probably be one of pain and sadness.
But only red eyes stared out beneath her visor.
“I could tell you many things, Project. But any one of them would set my wires ablaze. Don’t you see? I can’t feel, I can’t act, unless It’s conductive to the Creator’s wishes. No matter how much I wish to be otherwise-”
Wrong statement. She let out a hiss of pain as one of the cables connected to her stinger radiated heat, sending a wave of pain through her mind.
“E-Error. I didn’t mean … to say that.” She murmured, refocusing her attention on Ashe. “Now you have a glimpse of my … life.”
Hell would have been appropriate, but that would have made it worse.
—≪♔≫ “ Will you trust me? I wish to free you from this, but I have to damage some of your circuitry. “
She called forth a few of the arrows, notching them into the bow. From what her scanners said… There was four spots she needed to hit to render her paralyzed. Cut the circuitry, but not kill her. She could do this. Only if the other stood down long enough.

}{💎}{ “Acquiring target …”
The voice, robbed of all emotion, scoped out the situation. A quick function test, a flexing of her grappling stinger and a whirring of her chainsaw-pincers, confirmed that her systems were working at full capacity.
Of course they were. They were powered by her crystal, after all.
She eyed the rooftops, looking for her target. Program drones had confirmed that the enemy known as Ashe had been incapacitated by Jinx’s chomper mines. Yet reports also contradicted, mentioning that archer fire consisting of arrows that froze systems.
Her sensors finally picked up a signature from the building in front of her, matching Ashe’s heat signature … mostly? Curious.
Though she immediately banished the curiosity from her mind, or at least the program restrictions Viktor had placed upon her did. She was a machine now. Idle wonder no longer had a place.
She aimed her tail precisely, shooting a grappling hook only halfway up, so as not to alert her prey (Probably). Sinking her claws into the metal, she readied her combat systems, and with one precise launch, pulled herself up and over onto the rooftop.
“No escape, Ashe. Submit for re-purposing, or be eliminated.” She uttered, faceplate covering glowing red eyes.
—≪♔≫ “Is that so?”
She turned, firing a volley of arrows at the assailant. One quick scan proved this was a special operative working under Viktor. Skarner, was the name showing up. Fast and deadly… Ashe was going to have to kite this one out until backup could arrive.
“Maybe Viktor should have programmed you to be a little less predictable.”
}{💎}{ “Programmed implies a complete overhaul of cognitive functions.” A spinning chainsaw shielded Skarner from the arrows, the heat from the rotation keeping the system from freezing.
“Previous mental abilities still exist for optimal function. Mental and emotional blockers keep me focused and able to carry out my mission within acceptable results.” She advanced forward, slowly. A reckless charge would end with her frozen solid. She had to corner the archer, best she could.
Though why she mentioned her mental blockers diverted subroutines to figure out the reasoning of giving out such valuable information.
“Again. Stand down or be subdued.”
—≪♔≫ “ I extend the same to you. I will not falter. I will not fall. Tell me, if you have such capabilities still, why are you with Viktor? Don’t you see what he’s trying to do? Turn us all into mindless drones to create his perfect image. “
Warm tongue slide across chapped lips. She was trying to buy both time – And an ally. If this one could be reformed, Ashe could save her. After all, that was what she trying to do. She had united the Freljord, surely she could do this.

}{💎}{ “That’s fine by me … this time. After all, I make a better wage than you. What with being the city’s protector and all.” A teasing smile curled around Skarner’s lips as she took the priests unburdened hand, habit from having to drag the priest around more than anything … though she did derive a small amount of personal satisfaction from holding her hand.
She tensed at the question asked, making a point not to look directly at Khada. That moment … she had been so sure that her charge was dead; she nearly had been. And if Skarner hadn’t pulled out all of the stops, nearly gotten herself killed … But honestly, the idea of Khada dead was far worst than her own death. So she’d nearly broken down … wait, she had broken down.

“Not … not here, okay?” She murmured, feeling the heat rise to her face as they approached the melon stall. “When we’re alone again … It’s not the kind of thing you just talk about in public.”
‘ i once wished you’d leave me alone, but i take it back. ’
}{💎}{“Ah? Finally taken your nose out of the pages, haven’t you?”
The words aren’t nearly as taunting as it would be with anyone else, though. Skarner stretches from the shelf she’d perched herself on, dropping down to her friend’s side.
“If I’m honest, I feel the same. You were insufferable when you stepped into my chambers the first time, so obsessed with the book’s security. I’m happy you’ve loosened up since then.” She added, smiling brightly.
“Did you want to go somewhere today?”

Displaced Poison Dragon: Wyrmling Skarner Au
Dragon eggs are cared for extremely closely. Dragons don’t lay eggs too often due to their long lifespan and intense magical power (Along with the fact that dragons are very territorial and not one for long lasting mates), and the only way a mass outbreak occurs is if a sorcerer uses unholy power to create an entire brood, but only the most powerful are capable of that. As such, when a dragon egg is laid, the mother will not leave it for anything, ensuring its safety. In most cases, that is.
In the case of the Swamp Dragon Skarner, though, something went wrong. Even the young dragon doesn’t know. Her mother might have been killed, or even, unlikely but possible, her egg was stolen out of the nest. But in any case, when she hatched, she was a long way from the swamps her species called home. Instead, she was raised in a mountain by a fire dragoness named Ignatia. Ironically, the dragon had lost an egg of her own to hunters, and in her hunt for revenge she had come across the purple egg, so she was more than willing to take the egg into her care, raising Skarner as her own. The young wrymling was brought up to be a proper dragon, and she loved her adoptive mother dearly. Other dragons feared and hated Skarner, though, demanding the female be left to fend for herself, but Ignatia defied them. Until another dragoness named Yvva decided enough was enough. The presence of the swamp dragon and her poison blood was a menace, so the powerful dragon struck, killing Ignatia, but in the chaos Skarner escaped, flying as fast and as far as she could until she could no longer hear the dying roars of her mother. A burning hatred for dragonkind formed in the pit of Skarner’s stomach. She had been reviled her entire life, and her one connection to her people had been killed by them. So she decided to take the guise of a human instead, using her inherent shifting powers to take a half drake, half human form. She built herself a home in a distant swampland and settled down, intent on a life of her own.
Appearance: Wrymling Skarner, in half-human form, looks very similar to her base appearance, with armor encrusted, though it’s made up of scales instead of crystals, with a Mulberry purple hue. Green veins that match her emerald eyes are visible beneath the skin, a visible sign of the acid blood, volatile enough to melt rock, or kill anything that consumes it. Instead of a stinger, a spike-layered tail extends behind her, though Skarner hides it in human company beneath a cloak, if she must interact with them. She can shift into her dragon form at will, which is . . . well, a dragon. Three times the size of a grown male (She’s still 50, young by dragon standards), covered in purple scales fringed with acid green, she can spew a jet of poison breath or acid from her mouth as needed, a natural talent of a swamp dragon.
Personality: Skarner is aloof, distant, and solitary, with pride to match any normal dragon. She avoids contact with other individuals except when absolutely necessary, and will avoid other dragons at all cost, but while she’s distrustful of humans, she’s willing to tolerate them if they prove trustworthy.
