But we impose an artificial life on top of it, And bury it beneath layers of Shoulds, Oughts, Musts, Wants, Don’t Wants, Regrets, Fears, Ambitions, Envys, Jealousies, Hatreds, Resentments… And, before you know it, we are being spun about, Blindfolded, And thrown into one role after another With parts to play, and lines to recite forever Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Son, Daughter… Adrift in lives beyond counting, Lost to the life at the bottom of the pile With its own rhythm, direction and flow, Wondering where we are, And when we are going to show up, To take it where it wants to go.

 To leave this place where we belong. 

 Every creature has been once inspired, 

 Without a doubt, to reach for snakes as the Devil shakes, 

 And the good Lord only knows, 

 That I have suffered so. 

 For I have seen this cloud, to this very day, 

 By this very hour.

 So by every hour it grows, we may finally know, 

 There is nothing wrong with where we go.
