If Will's crush on Mike wasn't such a big part of his character, I would be hesitant about Byler endgame, but the fact that it's been planned since before s1 and has been highly emphasized, convinces me that Byler was always supposed to be endgame . They wouldn't make Will's crush on Mike such a big deal if it meant nothing to the plot.
