I couldn't have her in the old game, so I guess I just had to mod her into the remake instead

Plus, you can mod on both the Switch and Steam, but by far the easier to install mods on is Switch lol

I uploaded modded files for both games, so everyone can marry Flora!

you need to have examples of healthy relationships with others of various ages so you can Recognize when you encounter unhealthy ones if all friendships with other folks of various ages feel "weird" to you because they are unfamiliar and you don't know how to relate to them yet, then all of them will feel the same level of uncomfortable, and the good and bad ones won't be distinguishable to you tbh for all the teenagers out there that just need a cool adult to hang out, go find out where all the ancient old fogeys hang out in your area, im talking 75+ those guys wont be any danger to you, especially if your always seeing them in a public group setting together like a community knitting club or something, and chances are theyre all desperate for some interesting social interactions with local youths because theyre used to just being ignored by everyone around them and just feel lonely

these people have been alive for probably at least 3-4 times as old as you have, the wealth of situations and experiences theyll have gone through are fascinating, if you give a chance and listen (and honestly, most people that age are cranky assholes, they will LOVE to gossip and shit talk with you in my experience, old people love being haters)

Sometimes when people on the Internet are like "ADULTS CAN NEVER INTERACT WITH MINORS IT'S CREEPY" I remember how, at 12, back in 1997, I was on the Witchvox forums with people ranging from me to people in at least their 50s, and no one there was ever a creep to me, no one ever made me feel uncomfortable or asked for my personal info, and when I finally broke down after a particularly brutal day of bullying at school and posted about it they were the first adults I'd ever met in my entire life who told me the bullies were the problem and it was okay to be angry about it.

Kids need to interact with adults who will listen to them.

I can genuinely think of no better way to poison ai art models then for everyone to opt in and then do nothing but terrible scrawlings of copyright protected characters or draw dicks on screenshots of copyrighted media, bake it like a jpeg til its crusty as fuck and then upload it en masse essentially we all should draw nothing but shitty mspaint homestuck style art forever until they crack

I wonder, has anyone ever considered just, making tons of Bad Art on purpose? What if every artist on tumblr just starting spewing out terrible shitty art constantly and feeding it to the ai models, so the ai can produce nothing but terribly shitty crayon scrawlings what are they gonna do then? ai can't tell "good" art from "bad" art you think the people running the ai scrawler are gonna go through and hand pick out the millions of bad art examples?

My favorite Kingdom Hearts fact is that one of the biggest plot-holes that Nomura has never been able to meaningfully retcon or write his way out, a plot-hole so big that it fundamentally breaks the very rules the series is written on…

Is the existence of Steamboat Willie

Let me explain for the uninitiated:

In Kingdom Hearts 2, there’s a small detour in the story involving Maleficent trying to invade Disney Castle, the home of King Mickey. She can’t step foot in the castle due to an artefact of pure light that wards off darkness locked in the basement.

Pete, who is working for Maleficent, opens a door into the past (Before Disney Castle, this land was known as Timeless River) and decides to remove the artifact from it’s place in time so it won’t be there to stop them from getting in.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy chase Pete into the past thanks to another magic door provided by Merlin, and through some shenanigans involving old cartoons and teaming up with Pete’s past-self, they lock the door the villains are using, and return the artefact to it’s proper place so it can exist in the present.

You with me so far? Pretty straightforward-ish time-travel plot right?

Here’s where it goes off the rails.

Time travel would go on to become a staple of Kingdom Hearts going forward and would come with a very strict set of rules over how it operates:

1. You can only travel to a point in time where a version of yourself exists

2. You basically give up your body to do so, and travel as a disembodied soul unless you have a vessel to inhabit

3. You can’t alter the past in a meaningful way, what’s going to happen will happen

4. You lose your memories of said trip once you return, but your actions could leave a lingering instinct on your other self that could influence their decisions

“Wait” you may be thinking “Why should anyone go through all those hoops? Wasn’t time travel super simple that first time?”

And you’d be totally right, because the existence of Timeless River completely renders all of these rules and restrictions meaningless. 

There is no version of Sora that existed in Timeless River before he step foot there, everyone kept their bodies, the trio and Pete were able to mess with the timeline as freely as they pleased, and they all very much remember their trip. 

Nomura has never been able to meaningfully explain this super simple, easy way of time travel and the more convoluted method co-existing other than a cheap-throwaway line from one of the villains saying that Merlin “broke the rules” 

The hilarious part about this line is that it implies that PETE of all characters is actually more powerful than the actual villain of the series, because Pete opened a door into Timeless River through sheer willpower and nostalgia for “the good old days”

But the all-knowing chess-master of a villain who had an evil plan several decades in the making with countless moving parts and contingencies to account for had to use the roundabout, more complicated method of time travel where a lot could go wrong.

Pete though? Dude just casually broke all the rules of time travel because he felt like it. He’s just built different.

TL;DR: Steamboat Willie breaks Kingdom Hearts lore in half, Pete is more powerful than Master Xehanort, and I fucking love this beautiful trainwreck of a series you guys it means so much to me

Scald means to heat it up until it is Just before boiling, but not actually boiling, as hot as you can get it before it starts actually bubbling

Fireball is a type of alcohol thats kinda burny and cinnaminy i believe, so theyre just used that as a substitute for the cinammon Fold is baking term meaning to very very gently mix, if you were to mix properly say some whipped cream and milk together, youd lose the fluffy essence, since mixing it all down would liquify it again Folding is mixing it gently and with as little mixing as possible so any whipped liquid doesn't lose its consistency, just barely mixing something enough and generally with a folding motion, so scooping a spatula motion underneath some of it and bringing it back up and over, and doing that over and over instead of harshly stirring something in circles

I just made this eggnog

it's so fucking good

the original recipe doesn't have alcohol but I added in some fireball (which means I didn't need the cloves or cinnamon)

I actually couldn't find the recipe online anywhere so I had to just take notes from the tiktok, I did have to guess a couple things tho because he doesn't always specify exact measurements

I'll put the recipe as I did it under a cut, in case anyone wants to use it

5 egg yolks (save the whites)

slowly whisk in 1 cup sugar (mine turned out incredibly sweet so maybe tone it back if that's not your vibe)

2 cups milk 1 cup heavy cream to a pot

scald milk/cream mix

slowly stir half the milk/cream mix into the egg/sugar mix

add combined mix back to pot

low heat until thick

add 1/2 cup fireball (or however much you prefer but I personally wouldn't add more than this)

beat egg whites

slowly beat in 1 tbsp sugar (maybe a little more? go by feel on this one)

fold egg whites into the rest of the mix

2 shakes of nutmeg

2 teaspoons of vanilla (or less, I just always add extra because I like it)

stir

leave in fridge to chill

purple's design is based on beetroots, adopting their leaf shape and having its body textured like one

white's leaf design is based on caladium plants, with pink larkspurs replacing them when bloomed

I initially wanted to draw their bodies as weirdly shaped roots like actual mandrakes have, but i'll save the idea for later
