Helena Acosta and Violette Bule, Les reves des femme de la classe moyenne, 2013
Venezuela, video 2'58'',  2013.
The piece satirizes everyday desires of a house wife. It is an acceptance of the banality of carnal desire, quietly assumed in order to not distort the idea of the perfect woman devoted to domestic labors.

Flavio Scutti, Avocados, 2014
"Siamo alla frutta" è il messaggio che l'artista Flavio Scutti vuole dare in Avocados, lavoro video della durata di 6 minuti. Una critica, a tratti ironica e a tratti politica, di un sistema, quello italiano, in cui non è rimasto niente - "si sono mangiati tutto".

Emilio Gomariz, Horizons.net
http://h.orizons.net/
H.ORIZONS.NET is a contemplative place to look into infinity, a website which translates online imagery source into animated abstract horizons. The animation follows a fixed rhythm whose behaviour might vary depending on the image source and properties of. For nostalgic visitors the website features a starry night horizon by adding #stars=true to the URL once the image has been submitted, it follows the same bi-dimensional structure and reminds of several video games created back in the 80’s.

Systaime aka Michael Borras, Silences, 2014
  video 1’20’’

Max Hattler, Shift, 2013
Video 3’00’’
"Using the New Age idea of a ‘dimensional shift’ as inspiration, Shift combines science fiction themes through abstract, stop motion animation of objects and colour".
Max Hattler tries to visualize higher dimensions and unearthliness based on a turbulent atmosphere caused by a premonition of the end of the world. He uses elements of a complex and endlessly functioning mechanism. The cosmos of its pieces still performs many functions without emotions and retrospect. Partial changes are almost imperceptible.

Lorenzo Piovella - NEXT CITY: STORAGE CITY
Eight images inspired by a reflection about the online eco
system duality . We take for granted that the huge amount of information provided by the internet are in a virtual dimension, but instead, this endless amount of data is stored in physical computer hardware. To represent this situation I’ve imagined a sort of urban environment where the only buildings are massive corrugated steel warehouses that contains our lives, memories and personal data. A kind of futuristic vision of a world where the expansion of our online life must be compensated with appropriate physic places.

Gerhardt Rubio Swaneck , The future is in America
Installation, 2013
The future is in America” is an archeological-digital investigation about diverse Latin American native cultures that studied the stars to create their own worldviews: pre-Columbian astronomy”. This digital archeology revealed a series of data and images, which I worked with to create an art piece called: The future is in America.
“To look up to the sky is to look into the future as much as into the past”

Micheal Staniak, The IMG_series paintings
onging painting project
The IMG_ series paintings utilize a mixture of casting
compound on board to create a rock hard surface for which to apply the colour. The undulating surface is the result of
experimental processes that usually involve disturbing the compound with certain plastic sheetings at the optimal moment in the setting period, so as to achieve a result that is relief-like but not overly sculptural. Many of the marks on the surface are left to chance. Multiple fine layers of colour are then applied with industrial spray guns, mimicking the stippling effect of inkjet printing and in turn making the paintings look digital in nature. The chosen colours aim to reproduce a screen-like sensibilty using a palette resembling photoshop gradients and holographic coatings. In this case, the blue
IMG_ series works derive their colour from common blues used as branding on social media sites. Blue seems to be the colour of the Internet, with it’s branding focus on reliability, communication and air, and it is these ideals that the paintings reflect. The flux between screen and print allows for varying readings of depth and visual space. The IMG_ series avoids being categorised as tromp l’oeil because the works do not try to reproduce the illusion of three-dimensions on a
two-dimensional surface, but quite the opposite.

Chiara Passa, “Kinetic yoga” animated GIF show on Cinemagram App, 2013.
“Kinetic yoga” is a series of animated GIF I made using Cinemagram App and some other photo Apps – It’s part of a project titled “The artist’s journey” that also includes an interactive video based on YouTube. I created “Kinetic yoga” inspired by the concept of the journey the artist normally has when begin to think/create the artwork. The yoga is meant as training for the act of creation and is a very personal journey. In fact, the GIF series embrace parts of already realized artworks, parts of artworks at ‘daydream’ stage and primordial ideas or plans. Practicing yoga enables the person to identify the deep inner area and note the inner atmosphere. The journey from inside out is the connection between mind, body and space in which the body manifests the energy for creation. Don’t have Cinemagram? Lorna Mills, Prison#3_4_9, 2013
animated gif
Lorna Mills makes animated gifs with an emphasis on cacophony and rhythmic movement pushed to a variety of extremes. Ravingly formal but dissonant, her collage work sometimes skirts the boundaries of what the eye can passively handle before it actively seeks out patterns and resolution
