I'm going to be completely honest, this took me by surprise! I get more asks about Masks and Dreamers & Delusions being finished or continued and nothing on The Long Road so I had no idea y'all were waiting for the next part.
my apologies if this has already been posted here but im sharing this. here is what someone said on twitter along w this image:
the central image text reads: 鈥淍everyone I HAVE BEEN RELIABLY INFORMED GUARDIAN JOURNALISTS ARE SNOOPING AROUND ASKING FOR TRANS PEOPLE TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT DIY HRT. THEY ARE PARTICULARLY LOOKING FOR UNDER-18S DOING DIY. SHOULDN'T NEED TO BE SAID, BUT DO. NOT. ENGAGE. SPREAD WIDELY. DO NOT ENGAGE. WE NEED THIS NOTICE SPREAD OUT VIA EVERY GRASSROOTS SUPPORT GROUP AND SOCIAL CIRCLE IN THE COUNTRY.
URGENT. IF THEY GET EVEN ONE TO TAKE PART IT BECOMES A NATIONAL CONVERSATION. TOP ALERT.
Guardian journos are apparently asking trans people about DIY. Trans followers: DO NOT SAY ANYTHING TO THEM. NOT A WORD.
I also know I鈥檝e got cis mutuals who have written for the Guardian. Please know I鈥檝e always thought less of you because of that.
Ok ok, so I have commissioned someone to draw Darragh and Oisin. This won't be in the same degree as Luctux and Tao but it's going to be good. I love the artist's style and I knew the moment I saw her art I was like "yeah, I know exactly which of my guys I'd like her to draw"
I've been late on everything lately; this pregnancy seems to take away all of my energy and I've finally gotten a burst of energy to do some editing & catch up today.
As you all known I've been rewriting Black Apple Poison to get it published this year (my current goal is to try to get it completed by the end of July, I'm halfway done!) and would love to have some readers critique what I've written so far.
I have up to chapter 17 edited and up on my Patreon (as low as $1) and all earnings and proceeds will go towards publishing.
I have been so swamped at work that I have been bringing it home lately because our back office FINALLY gave us actual instructions on how to operate our new system after five months of us just pressing buttons and hoping for the best.
On top of that I got bit by the Spring cleaning bug and have been tidying my house and tossing out stuff I no longer use and donating old clothes I don't wear.
AND THEN THERE'S THE GARDEN!
I may have gotten over zealous in planting a wide variety of plants but I haven't had a good piece of land to work with and have free range to do as I please. All of the seeds I planted a couple weeks ago are sprouting and taking off so now I just need to maintain and wait to transplant them to their permanent beds.
That being said, I'm nearing a point to where I can relax a just get back to writing.
