That would be Friends though on the post it still doesn't have an official title. I'm not sure if this is just asking which fic it was, or if it's in regards to this post since it's been so long. If it is in regards to that post:

When I was writing Friends, one of the ongoing questions in the back of my mind was, "Well, why wouldn't Jay just list Will as his next of kin since Will was his brother? Why ask reader to marry him?" One thing I've learned since then is that if you're married when you deploy, you get more money. But we all know Jay. He's not in it for the money -- plus I'm not sure if that was a thing in the early 2000s during the US' retaliation post 9/11. The ongoing answer for these questions was simple. Jay loved reader their entire lives, but didn't want to ruin it. Much like we see post Ben Corson and the conversation that followed later, the feelings had always been there. It wasn't that he wanted reader to be notified if he died. It was that he wanted reader to have the benefits of his death if he could never truly be with them. I think Jay was coming from a place of love, though reader didn't always see it that way. Especially while he was gone. And then when he's offered a divorce around the time he joined the CPD, it was a very similar though for him. He wanted reader to get the line of duty death benefits if something were to happen to him. Plus, the idea of getting to stay married to reader was something he didn't want to entirely give up even though they'd continuously drifted apart since he'd came home.

A conversation..Where the reader is pregnant and she wants the baby to kick, Jay observes her with admiration, and when he's going to talk to the baby, the baby kicks, she feels suprised and a little jealous, that soon ends when she sees the happiness stamped on Jay's face ... little cliche to warm my heart... I love your stories

Can you do a fluffy Jay Halstead x reader where the reader gets a call from med that he was hurt so she's on the way to the hospital losing her damn mind but when she gets there Will takes her to a room where there's flowers and electric candles everywhere and Jay's on one knee and just pops the question and the reader is just like "damn I can't believe that I'm gonna marry such an idiot" and whacks him on the chest or something because "for fucks sake Jay this was not funny, ur lucky I love u"?

I was asking because I was just imagining jay in that position and was wondering what other people thought but if you like crime and mystery I would definitely recommend watching it!

So! I finally watched it a couple months ago because I was in a Chris Evans binge. Defending Jacob was a fantastic show, and I think putting Jay in that position would make for a great story. Maybe the next Long Fic after Thanks is done?

Hiya, i love your stories, could you do a series on the reader being a surgeon in the ED , with the chicago med cast, when there is a hostage situation in which jay, her husband/ bf, and the intelligence unit get called to the scene. The reader gets hurt and jay is worried about them etc ... but it ends happy and cute tho ! Thankyou !

Hiiiiii! First off absolutely love your writing, specifically your “Thanks” series. I was wondering if there’s more to the series like possibly seeing jay fight in court for mouse or if part 9 was the last part? I really loved the series and was curious.

Part 9 is not the last part, though, when I was re-reading it, I can see how it can be seen that way. Especially since I just took a two year hiatus. I think the plan is for it to be 15 to 20 parts total, though, I'll have a better number when I start writing again.

Is this stories real, I mean is this stories on Chicago pd episodes or just you invented? Just curiosity BC i went to find I look that none of your stories is on chicago pd ? Answer my question plis pd: i love all this stories you make;)

All of the stories are my own story lines -- for the most part. I may do a "fix it" or an alternative way I thought a story line from the show should have gone (examples: Love) . I occasionally take pieces from the show to add in, or give a backstory to -- such as Finally.

Guess Who's Back!

Hello!

It has been a crazy...two years?...since I last truly posted! A lot happened all at once, unfortunately, and I left a lot just hanging there until I was ready to come back. And here I am! My updates won't be as regular as they once were for the time being, but I will try to post either a one shot from the queue or a long-fic (Thanks) once a week. I will also be replying to the back-logged messages that have piled up a little bit in my inbox -- probably today.

I'm really looking forward to getting back into this. I will also say that I have NOT seen the latest season, so any fics I write will be pre-season 10.
