under-appreciated moment is Dustin’s impatient little hand raise, like, oh my god, would you just wait when Eddie’s pressing Hellfire about whether they’re going to fight or not. Like this is second nature to him by now—how many times has he completely derailed Eddie’s plans for a campaign because he’s just not intimidated by a false sense of urgency; he’s lived through the real deal, after all. The true match for Eddie’s dramatics is Dustin’s stubbornness that his decisions are always right, actually, don’t rush me, dude!

Dustin spends the first few campaigns he’s in completely destroying Eddie’s narrative tension; Eddie can’t decide whether to be furious or delighted. Who the fuck is this kid? I hate him, he thinks affectionately.

Eddie's hair is layered, which the majority of styles in the 80s were (Billy has a mullet, and Steve is pushing boundaries). A mullet--all business up front, and party in the back--was not really the thing for metalheads. Long, flowing, full locks were. Bonus points by the late 80s if it was longer than most women's. Actually, the mullet became a big part of lesbian culture in the 80s.

But, just so we understand one another, Eddie's hair... not a mullet.

I do not usually make posts like this but recently I have seen a lot of content on Instagram, Twitter and I think tiktok too misunderstanding the meaning of intrusive thoughts, which may cause people experiencing them to be upset.

I have tried to shortly explain the difference of impulsive and intrusive and hope it will help people to understand and use the words correctly.
