We just launched a game project on Kickstarter! It's a solo journaling RPG about exploring a strange continent full of eldritch relics, untangling its secrets, and probably getting cursed in a few horrible ways.
Please consider supporting! We're already getting close to the initial goal, after which there are some fun stretch goals!
Words can't express how much I can't stand Geoff Keighley and The Game Awards. Y'all really let this man cook his way into treating the Super Bowl commercials but for video games like a prestige awards event in the same year a gang of game industry people were laid off and studios were burned down.
And to put a fine point on it, those layoffs and studios being shuttered were due to stockholders and holding companies like Embracer Group either making poor decisions or not seeing enough profit for themselves, despite a year of immense profits and critical acclaim to go around the industry. If you watched The Game Awards tonight, you got to see a ton of C-suite folks and celebrities get patted on the back while the people responsible for the games (many of whom were there as well, to be sure) were either updating their resume, or hoping against hope that they don't have a layoff waiting for them in the morning.
Did you know? Clowns can inflate their noses up to a diameter of 30 cm. This is known as "honking".
While this behaviour is often seen when it feels threatened, a trained clown may also honk for entertainment. Releasing the contained air in a burst creates their iconic sound.
