Imagineering Legend Leota Toombs applies the finishing touches to “Red” of Pirates of the Caribbean. Leota worked with Walt to help create other Disneyland classics like The Enchanted Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion and Small World. Of course she is also infamous for portraying the image of “disembodied” Madame Leota in the Haunted Mansion.

For the Haunted Mansion’s 30th Anniversary in Disneyland, a special ride-through for guests after hours featured several “live” scare actors, including a return of the infamous Suit of Armor.

The actors included:

- The Suit of Armor in the Corridor of Doors

- A vampire in the attic

- Several bridesmaids in the attic

- A gravedigger in the graveyard

- A skeleton in the exit area
