Eunji was the only trainee in YG who ever gave Faye a chance. Kids strayed away from her because the mentors would always call her out and make fun of her. They thought she would only bring them down. Faye knew that she could not have made Eunji look good, but was thankful to her for risking her own image. It was there that she learned what a real, true friend was.

Faye was excited to see DIVINE sign with IMU after watching the group for so long. The two actually got back in touch when her contract with DVE was terminated. Eunji knew she was a trainee but not under IMU until they bumped into each other at the main building. She fought with Eunji a lot since she kept encouraging Koko to add her to the group lineup. She is grateful for her spot in DIVINE and how Eunji believed in her.

These two got off to a rough start. Faye had no idea what Jaena’s problem was. Anytime she looked in her direction, there would be a glare from the girl. There had been times where Faye called her out and wondered what her deal was. There was one time when the group was out at dinner and Faye completely ripped the girls head off because she had enough. Eunji called a meeting between the two to put all their issues out on the table. Jaena and Faye were not aware of how their relationships were with Eunji. She knows that she is a new member that does not have tight bonds like the rest of the group. After the meeting, Eunji jokingly told them both to stop fighting over her.

After spending months and endless nights practicing and having civil, tamed conversations, they both found common ground and aren’t constantly coming at each other’s throats. They butt heads every now and then and make up quickly.

Most people don’t give Faye a fighting chance, but Yahee was glad to befriend her. While training, Faye was always impressed with what Yahee had to offer. She was surprised each time a comeback came around and would definitely say her bias was Yahee. Most people assumed Yahee would become stiff around Faye, but it was quite the opposite. The girl let loose around her and awakened her rebellious side.

She would defend all of her members against a bullet, but so much as one wrong look towards Yahee, Faye will be at your doorstep with a baseball bat. She likes being confident and seeing her friends confident as well. Yahee wished to be more carefree like her, and she’s still working on it, but there is progress. Faye was surprised that she took to her so well. It’s actually the fastest someone has ever gotten close to Yahee.

― LEE HAYUN

Faye did get a little warning from Eunji before meeting Hayun. The leader wants to protect the younger ones while she can, so Faye has to censor herself a bit. Hayun was especially quiet with her at first, her impulsive personality not helping one bit. The two became friends after a few days. Hayun was intimidated at first, but she noticed how sincere Faye was during practices and mealtimes.

Faye is more of the friend to push Hayun to do more stuff impulsively. The other members tend to be logical and reasonable, but Faye just says screw it and deals with the consequences later. If Faye was more disciplined with manners and such, she would want to be just like Hayun. Hayun has a heart of gold and Faye was just lucky enough to receive some of that love. Just being around the young one makes her want to be a better person, better than the person she turned out to be.

Faye was going to meet Mia with the same strategy as meeting Hayun, except she didn’t have to censor herself too much. Mia was accepting of Faye, and even went along with most of her humor. The members told her Mia was pretty wild, but she didn’t take their advice seriously. She was quite surprised herself to see how chaotic the maknae was. Faye knew instantly that they were going to get along perfectly.

Faye tries to be a good influence on Mia even though it doesn’t really work. They’re quite alike in some way. They turn to humor to mask all the real issues they have going on, both are very misunderstood and judged before people really get to know them. Faye is really protective over the younger members, acting like their aunt in so many situations. She cooks for them and makes sure they’re taking care of themselves

The girls were adjusting their microphones, making sure the in-ear monitor was comfortable for each of them. It was finally their debut showcase. The music video for their debut song was released two hours before the actual showcase. Everyone was especially nervous to be performing in front of the press for the first time of their career.

Eunji comforted her members, despite her own nervousness that was bugging her. Yahui and Hayun were the only members about to have a full on panic attack. Mia was conversing with Jaena, looking after each other to be sure they looked well for their first stage.

Eunji told her makeup artist to hurry up with fixing her makeup, eagerly watching Yahui as she looked like a lost puppy. She pulled away from the girl doing her makeup, quickly approaching Yahui and grabbing her wrists. She gently pinched the skin, making sure she was fully here before giving her peptalk.

"It'll be nerve-racking the first time, it always is, but once we get out there and start singing, it'll come to you naturally." She reassured her, bringing her into a hug and brushing her fingers through her hair. "You got this. You’ve always done such an amazing job during our training days, I have no doubt you’ll own the stage."

“Thank you, unnie” The girl’s voice was shaky as she held onto Eunji tighter than ever before.

Eunji pulled away from Yahui, smoothing down her hair only for the stylist to come back and fix it. She proceeded to approach Hayun who was a giggly, nervous wreck that was talking excessively to calm her nerves down.

"Hayun, you can be a maniac sometimes, I'm not sure what's different right now."

"What if I mess up?" Her eyes wandered off Eunji's, fiddling with her fingers.

"If you do, it's okay, we'll do better next time."

"But that just means people will already be judging us if we do something wrong" She sighed, "What if they don't like us because we mess something up here first?"

Eunji sighed, hugging the younger one, "That's their problem, they should know we are human, humans make mistakes."

Hayun hugged the leader tighter, she could feel just how much she was shaking.

"One minute until you guys have to go on!" A staff member alerted them, making sure they were as planned.

"Okay come in girls," Eunji motioned the members to join in a huddle. They obeyed and listened to the eldest.

"I know how nervous you guys are right now, but I've seen you practice for months now, we'll do just fine" She looked each of her members in the eyes, making sure they knew how confident she was in all of them. "Our hard work is finally paying off, so let's go burn the stage!"

They each put their hands in the center of their circle, chanting and praying for a successful showcase.

"Come on children, let's go!" Jaena shouted, following the staff who told them where to stand on stage. They waited for the music to start, letting it take over their bodies.

Just as Eunji said, their performance went smoothly, they put on an amazing showcase. They did segments to introduce and learn about the members, each one revealing how unique each member was in their own way. They were becoming more confident in themselves with every stage they had.

DYSTOPIA : Lose Myself is the 4th mini album and 2nd release of the Dystopia trilogy by South Korean girl group DIVINE. It was released digitally and physically on August 16, 2021, with ‘BOCA’ serving as the title track, along with ‘Dear’ as the subtitle track. The group also performed ‘Break The Wall’ and released a special video for the song. Through the title track, DIVINE closes the mouths of those who say hurtful things without taking responsibility for their words or feeling guilt. ‘Boca’ is a good follow-up to 'Scream’ in which we see the voice of the song go from being a victim to being a defender.

Since day one, Eunji has always been the one that was there for Yahee. She goes to her whenever something is bothering her, or just wants to talk about her day. Yahee is a very closed off person so she will only share so much with someone. She never truly feels like she got everything off her chest until she talks to Eunji. Others’ advice is appreciated, but Eunji is the only one who can knock some sense into her. Yahee’s mother was never in her life, so the leader is like the mother she never had.

She has no idea how to ever repay Eunji for all the things she has done for her. It took forever, but eventually she grew enough trust in Eunji that she didn’t care about hiding things from her. Eunji can always sense when something is off with her. She knows her better than she does her own self. Yahee is a whole different person than she was during debut, in the best way. Eunji has contributed more than enough to her development and she means the world to Yahee.

Jaena makes Yahee want to be a better, more loving and carefree person. She was a bit iffy about her at first since she is a tad inappropriate and opposite of Eunji, but she still had the motherly qualities like the leader. Yahee loves being in Jaena’s company, it’s always fun, despite her pessimistic personality.

They are the type of friends that make each other blush. They are also very affectionate. Jaena always shows her attention to let her know that someone is listening, that she is not tuned out. And even though she might not like it, she tries to give Yahee equal screen time or attention when she is singled out. But if she is overwhelmed from being put on the spot, Jaena will try to deflect to herself or another member. Even when Yahee is blue, Jaena's smile and hype can cheer her right up.

The fans did not expect these two to be so fond of each other. Yahee kind of envies her. She is quite jealous of her confidence and wishes she could project that onto her. She is intimidated by Faye in a good way. She wants to be the type of person who doesn’t care what the public thinks, or what people truly think about her. Her influence on the girl may not always be good but they have fun and build a stronger bond than before.

As they both matured, Yahee learned to let things slide because she could not control anyone but herself. If Yahee is feeling unsure about a choice, Faye's impulsive trait encourages her to just go ahead and do that thing. She gets a weird high when they’re doing crazy activities together, drawing Yahee in even more. Faye also has no clue how to be emotional so she will always crack a joke or two when Yahee is feeling sad and it somehow manages to cheer her right up.

Yahee could relate to Hayun a lot since they are both relatively quiet. It didn’t take too long for the two to become friends. There was no intimidation compared to other members. Both of their natures were attracting them together.

They are very cute together and also very affectionate. Sometimes she tries to steal Hayun from Mia and wrap her entire body around her as they cuddle. They are able to relate to each other so well because of their similarities. Yahee was quite surprised to see Hayun’s loud side despite her being reserved on shows. She never knew Hayun’s vocal cords could ever go so high. She treats the younger girl as her sister and treasures their relationship.

Yahee had no idea what to think of Mia when they first met. She was both scared and tried her best to avoid her. She didn't understand how someone could be so energetic and wild. They had an intimate discussion, a fight if you will, because Mia wondered if Yahee didn't like her. Eunji and Jaena had to get involved and explain to the girl that that’s how Mia’s personality is. She seemed to understand just a little bit.

After that they started getting closer. Yahee tries her best to keep up with the maknae and vocalizes her exhaustion whenever things get too out of hand. No matter how hard Yahee seems to be not phased, Mia always gets a laugh or a blush out of her in no time. Since Mia is the happy virus in the group, she’s in charge of cheering everyone up, including Yahee. She loves Mia no matter how crazy she can be and she can always make her laugh.

DIVINE’s Youngmi changes her stage name to ‘Yahee’.

On July 16th, IMU Entertainment announced that DIVINE’s Youngmi will be officially changing her stage name to ‘Yahee’.

“Starting today, I will be going by Yahee. I have decided to stay true to my origins and begin to love all aspects of myself. I will work extremely hard to be DIVINE’s Yahee who you can be proud of!”

IMU Entertainment has also confirmed on July 14th that DIVINE will be making a comeback in August with a mini album!
