the way the writing gets emotion out of you in The Sixth Sense is just incredible. It really does such a good job of helping the viewer connect with how Cole feels and how he sees the ghosts that for most of the movie, I feel really uneasy (like, I know most people think that Kyra is the scariest ghost but for me its the abused housewife. She’s terrifying because her anger is so overwhelming and she appears at a time when Cole is still scared and has no idea how to help her or what else to do about her, especially with him being so young and having no adult help.) By the time we get to Kyra, sure he’s a little scared but Malcolm has helped him know what to do so he can talk to her and the fact that he’s not truly scared of her makes her less scary and makes the encounter with her more like something out of Ghost Whisperer rather than a horror movie. The way we connect to Cole makes this movie both hard for me to watch and the reason why I love it so much.

Public speaking is actually really easy if you don't respect a single soul in that room. I've had an incredibly easy time delivering speeches when I hated everybody I saw and they all thought I did amazing because my disdain was read as confidence. I don't have any tips for you I'm just telling you a fact
