I didn't spend Halloween like I would have wanted too. In the end I lit up rose incense for Lord Satan said a prayer and knitted in his presence. It was the most calming thing. It ended up being a really nice Halloween.

Casual ways to connect with your deities

-Pray to them or just just talk with them and tell them about your day

-Light a candle and say your thanks

-Offer your meal/snack to them or bake/cook with them or for them

-Watch a movie in their honor

-Offer your morning drink to them or make a cup for them

-Assign them a plant and take care of it as a devotion to them

-Listen to music that reminds you of them

-Say good morning/good night

-Thank them for the things you see that you consider beautiful

I wish more people could be open minded about satanism and not be scared to look passed what they have been told from their religion. But I can see how that can be complicated for them, they might feel like they are going against their religion and beliefs for trying to understand. It's really sad actually.

Lord Satan is not coming for your family or friends. Lord Satan does not intend to hurt anyone who hasn't hurt him or what's his. Fear of the unknown is rational and common, but these fears can easily be rectified through simple research.

Would you believe me if I said I used to be devoutly Christian? Sure, it was because I felt I had to be, but I still was. I was once a part of the uneducated masses who fear Lord Satan, not for what he has done, for what we've been told about him.

History and legends are written by and for the victor, and often only tell one side of the story from the best light possible. The problem lies where there was no true victor, but one side proclaimed themselves to be, and everyone just went with it.

We must learn to take the negative with the positive. No one, including Lord Satan, is infallible. Through looking at both sides, through critical thinking, and through understanding, we finally get a handle on what the intent was. Take for example the story of the original sin, at first glance it seems like a horrible thing to have done to Adam and Eve, but when you look deeper, it actually tells the tale of the origination of free will.

I'm not saying that Christians are evil for believing what they do, but I am saying that sometimes their stories and ideologies are specifically written with the idea of promoting God at the expense of your own best interest.
