It used to be that every board game was called WONDROUS AUTOBAHN and had a map of the European continent Highway system. These games all had stickers saying “8.6 on boardgamegeek” and “winner of the Continantiwunderkraft spiele award”. These games are now sold in booths with movie theater sized footprints. There are 4 non-employees there because everyone else has already bought them

A so called noon gun, a sundial with compass and a small cannon, its maker is unknown, c.1800

This has been very popular since the 18th century, combined with a cannon and a burning glass, is set so that when the sun reaches its highest point at noon, a charge of gunpowder is ignited by the bundled rays of the sun, so that a loud bang sounds. Larger examples were used in dockyards and army quarters to indicate lunchtime.

Being a hot gay villain and plotting hot evil schemes

Hosting and attending sinister balls & whispering behind frilly fans

Bargaining with Boschean devils (or burning them as fuel)

Drawing too much power from Hell's infernal magic and exploding

I wrote this game because my favorite part of TTRPGs is tense conversations with weird, ambitious bastards. I'll probably be posting about it a lot.
