some headcanons I had in mind for these doodles

Zero can't cry or at last his older body can't, it wasn't made for that, but this new body was made by X's request and he can cry now. it was something that frustrated Zero in the past when he was in big distress, so X did it as a gift for him. also I was inspired by Everlasting Tears song 😆

I like to think that when X is on cyberspace after his body got destroyed, he's starting to pass on, so his data and energy has started to drift way into cyberspace and for him it feels sort of like being almost asleep at times. This would feel rather sad for Zero, to learn that he's dying, but X would asure him that, he would never truly disappear, that part of him will always be there since energy can never be destroyed, just transformed.

then with faceless X, I like to think Zero at first can't recall X's face. so to illustrate that X's face isn't visible.

and that mini comic there is because I think it would be kinda cute if X just changes his looks whenever he feels like, so could be a reason why he doesn't have one hairstyle or one cyber elf look, he just likes to change it often
