      Now that the family is together again and now that she has finally gotten the chance to get to know more about Bruno than she had before, she realized the two were rather similar. Both were and felt ostracized from their own family. Nothing has been done nor fixed to change this and even when Bruno wanted to try his hardest to look into the future for a solution, it only fell apart in the end and made things worse. Same for Mirabel in her attempts to bring the family closer and discover the possible way to fix the magic. Those years of the Madrigal family claiming that things were fine and to continue on with their lives as this wondrous and perfect family, had made things worse. 

      “But all of that has changed now. We can stick together this time and do much better than before. I didn’t realize you were protecting me all this time, tio. And I’m sorry for realizing about you so late.” She returned the hug, reassuring her uncle. As they all made mistakes, there was no need to point fingers nor blame. Not anymore. “You still looked after me and the family, you stayed with us when you really could have left the Casita long ago. But you didn’t! And I think none of this would happen now if you really did leave.” Mirabel gave a small laugh. “Si, Abuela can be…pretty scary. But, she was looking after the family in her own way. And you will too…gracias, tio. It really means a lot to hear that.”

『 ⧖ 』 Bruno, unlike his sisters, did not marry in order to pass on the magic to an offspring, he did not have children... But he always wanted to contribute to help this family and protect it. He always thought that was his role, what his gift was for before it was denigrated. To predict the future in order to prevent a disaster, or to keep something from happening... Unfortunately, the fact that his predictions were misinterpreted and he was accused of bringing bad luck, he suffered from having become an outcast. Every time he passed by, he was singled out. Will he bring bad news again? What is the prophet doing here? So he kept a low profile, then hid... only to disappear on the day of Mirabel's ceremony.

Surprised by the embrace, he tensed but quickly calmed down. Leaving Casita was impossible, especially since the Encanto was surrounded by gigantic, impassable mountains.

He looked at Mirabel with tenderness and rested his chin on her curls. — ❝ I would never have the strength and courage to abandon you... I love you so much... ❞

I knew what the MBTI test thing was but never really cared to look into it, the only thing I've done that's close to it was a knockoff test, just for fun.

Are you outwardly or inwardly focused?

I know Julieta’s job kinda calls for extraversion but also, not really. We don't see her making any small talk with people while she's handing out food, it's quite the opposite, she likes the line to move pretty fast so she can see to everyone, proving that she's not looking to be the centre of attention. She seems pretty modest to me in "the family Madrigal" (and in general), like, she’s kinda just following everyone else if that makes sense. So, introversion.

How do you prefer to take in information?

OOC — As if the Windows service scam in June wasn't bad enough, my (elderly) mother was mugged in my building and had her purse snatched. Someone managed to stop the thief to get the bag but he had already taken the money, nothing else was stolen. However, he had a knife, and managed to get away... Luckily my mother only has scratches and bruises, but she is in shock. The police have been informed but it's getting worrying, it's a series of traumatic events for her. If we have to, we'll consider carrying pepper spray...

PS: I'm putting this blog in Semi-Hiatus until further notice because extreme heatwaves + traumatic events in my family is killing my mood to write at all.

You don't need magical powers to know about that, really... I read a lot... We've got so many new books since the Encanto has had an opening to the outside world. Oh... the Encanto is where I live by the way, where I grew up. It's a magical place lost in the middle of Colombia. ❞
