I don't have a name for it but to me all these are all in the same genre of something
Like its a vague but distinct flavor of sureal, pseudo-childish, low-fi/indie/low budget, high effort pulp nerd goodness (feel free to add)

“Friends Supernaturally”
Why do I keep picking shows that end so suddenly to be my favorite shows. It’s a curse really. (No pun intended).
In the current landscape, it’s often hard for me to still get attached to a TV show. That’s not a knock on anything on right now, it’s just taste and opinions and stuff like that. But 3 years ago, a little show popped up on “Disney Channel” one night and I got hooked. It was show with great art, from gorgeous backgrounds and detailed posing and faces, hilarious writing that could be surprisingly clever at times, and a big ol’ heart that helps make you want to be and do better. Even if it didn’t last all that long, I’m glad this show came out, and I’ve stuck by it for these past few years as a fan. And now that it’s over, maybe you could check it out if you haven’t already. Trust me, it’s a good one.
Goodbye, “The Ghost and Molly McGee”. Thanks for the enhappification.

Pomnis!
Been meaning to whip up some fanart of The Amazing Digital Circus. Really proud of my co workers/mutuals friends working on this project, it's incredible to see how far indie animation has come!

lol I remember back in the mid to late 00s my first gf was online and from england (im from the usa, you know the colony that rebelled against the british empire, led by an ill equiped and militarily inexperienced general and still defeated the greatest empire on earth at the time) . we met on a zelda forum and we chatted all the time on msn messenger.
anyway one day we were chatting over voice and things were getting all gushy and lovey and then immediately I hear a door swing open and her dad put her on blast for not doing the dishes but he sounded like hagrid and I couldn't help laughing while they yelled at each other.
oh good times..

I honestly am surprised more cartoon shows don’t have characters walk into the wrong cartoon and get mistaken for the Villain of the Week
Garfield here is declared a “mutant [alien] gnome” sent to spy on the heroes.

Oh I see so it's not that the person who made it was cultivating the strangest vibe possible for the grimace birthday playlist it's that they put every song ever on it
