i wish tumblr wouldn’t suggest / recommend me the ooc posts of blogs I’m not mutuals w/ in the direct middle of my feed solely for the facts that those tiny green words of “based off your likes!” Is so easy to miss to my blind ass but also because I forget half the time to check so if I see someone in my dash 70% of the time before I stop to see or rmmr I assume we are mutuals and I’m 10 seconds away from liking the post

𝐈. kami of wind and light, humanity’s desire for understanding and redemption of / for a higher power, protection and to a lesser extent — change through atonement which may lie as synonymous with the chaotic shift known to take place on the yearly occurrences of the blood moon, able to take the form of a dragon.
𝐈𝐈. born from the blood of a god once it spilled into the eye of a dying mortal.
A. was only brought into the world once the body of the deceased mortal had been returned to the earth, and thus belongs in origin to both the heavenly and the earthly. came into being as a fully developed child no younger and no older than 6 to 8 years old, covered in sediment and blood and rainwater during the night.
B. sought completion and true autonomy and allowed themselves while newly born to be governed and swayed by more malignant and apathetic actions. years past their making did they fight and defeat their progenitor god after fourteen days and nights and proceed to devour them to balance their ever further growing omnipotence, and in turn assimilating the previous kami’s responsibilities and domains.

since that’s gonna be a big transition too in deriving the bits of mana I’m keeping and the parts rewriting from their xiv origins ( which is about maybe 60% of it ) and completely crafting a new setting and canon for them im gonna announce rn that anything I’m writing for on this blog in the coming months will be things I’ve had hidden away in drafts for a long time already + things that have been plotted out with others in detail. i don’t know how much of creating mana more of their own lore ( and now world building ) will change them, not too much in core attributes and personality, but uh, things are gonna be different ❤️

i think about how awful it could go in a fight if someone were to just grab a fistful of manas hair and pull on it because not only is mana moderately sadistic but theyre also incredibly masochistic and like it is not gonna go the way you think it will cause likes jokes on you i guess they’re into that.
