The 'rude/demanding' tone would be stuff along the lines of "if you like but don't reblog I'll [threat]" which i see surprisingly often, both serious and more silly

#sometimes if the tone is friendly/no if it's rude #not gonna lie it feels entitled when people are demanding about it #like someone got you a card for your birthday and you started throwing a tantrum because there wasn't any money inside of it #I get how badly it feels when you spend hours making something only to get a lukewarm reaction #but forcing or guilting people to ''pay you back'' in a certain way isn't the way to go about it imo #polls

thinking about how when you experience a lot of shame in your formative years (indirectly, directly, as abuse or just as an extant part of your environment) it becomes really difficult to be perceived by other people in general. the mere concept of someone watching me do anything, whether it's a totally normal activity or something unfamiliar of embarrassing, whether I'm working in an excel spreadsheet or being horny on main, it just makes my skin crawl and my brain turn to static because I cannot convince myself that it's okay to be seen and experienced. because to exist is to be ashamed and embarrassed of myself, whether I'm failing at something or not, because my instinctive reaction to anyone commenting on ANYTHING I'm doing is to crawl into a hole and die. it's such a bizarre and dehumanizing feeling to just not be able to exist without constantly thinking about how you are being Perceived. ceaseless watcher give me a god damn break.

saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”

me personally it’s a hard cutoff at 75°F. don’t need anything more than that thank you 🫶🫶🫶

#mid to upper 80's-low 90's is good pool weather #hot enough to where you won't be freezing cold every time you step out of the water #once you hit anything over 100 or close to that point it's just miserable #polls #overall I think my ideal weather range would be 60-80 for most of the year #maybe with a short winter where it gets cold enough to snow a couple times and medium-ish summer where it's hot enough for swimming
