          an hour with the pretty stranger would definitely get her off the stage and into a private room, and that sounded far better than trying to entertain the thursday night crowd. just her and him ALONE. she’d be lying if she said she didn’t appreciate the attention since most days she doesn’t feel as pretty, she isn’t even the most popular one at DD’s, and his attention was oddly validating. “your first time and you want to spend it with me?” she questioned, pushing herself up on her knees with slow and easy movements, “i’m flattered, baby.” she looked over her shoulder for a quick glance, almost all the girls have drifted closer to the ends of the stage to greet the other men, some to their regulars for a friendly chat in exchange for a couple bills. turning back to the other, eunji smiled, “you know what, it’s on me for your first time only if you tell me your name.” with that, she stood and walked towards the steps that led off the stage, letting one of the security members know that she was off to the private rooms in case anyone came looking before sauntering off to extend her hand to the newbie. “follow me,” she instructed, grabbing his hand which was warm in her own and tugged gently, “you can have me all to yourself somewhere more...private.” 

Dark hues would rest over the figure under the neon lights before noticing the soft blush under the lights that caress her cheeks, but he noticed that her stare was upon his own. Was it cause of him and his attention? His soft grin would appear due to that mere thought, since it’s quite a compliment if she’s used to having old men’s attention by now or nasty, college boys that seem to be on top of the world over in the corner of the club. Despite of being new in this part of town for about one year, he still hasn’t visit this club and felt pretty glad to do so tonight. Her attention upon him had cause the interest to grow before his sight would set lower to follow as she was on all fours before him upon the stage. “I am,” He responded in a soft yet dark tone, still looking to her until answering her next question. “It’s my first time visiting.. Depends on if the fun includes you..” He spoke shamelessly when staring to her eyes with an growing, soft smirk to his lips. “How much does it take..to have you to myself, for one hour?” He inquired, curious to know. Curious to know more of her, if he could. He wasn’t sure to what it was, but he would like to know her a little more before allowing his interest to grow more.

          taking the stage in a group was usually eunji’s preference, especially lately when all she wants to do is remain in the back, unnoticed.  it didn’t happen often, nor was she always on the main stage but when she was she tended to ZONE OUT, her body knew the routine by heart and memory and satisfying the men that came in didn’t take much effort, at least not for a thursday crowd. so her body moved with ease under the neon lights, her gaze never settling on one man alone since her thoughts were on another. unfortunately HE didn’t show up tonight, which eunji guesses is a blessing in disguise. she hasn’t been in the best state since she got a new job, working full shifts back-to-back, never finding time for herself except for the few moments between jobs and the hour she got home before she had to sleep. eunji feels EMPTY, running on nothing but fumes and redbulls, knowing sooner or later she’ll come to a crash. with a small sigh hidden behind the shadows casted upon her, she looked up, eyes catching someone she’s never seen around before. a newbie. usually the crowd at DD’s was nothing more than tired old men, or cheap college boys that felt on top of the world with a stack of ones. he didn’t look like a college boy, not with that smirk -- intriguing yet friendly. curiosity swarmed her as he never took his eyes off her, and a blush settled on her cheeks that could easily be blamed on the warmth she felt when she danced. he’s handsome, very much so that she felt a sort of fuzzy feeling all over as she kept his attention. without thinking, eunji decided to get closer, after all her job was basically customer service, the least she could do is welcome the stranger with a sweet smile. “you’re new,” she stated, voice soft and low as she slowly got on all fours in front of him, “i would remember you if you were here even once. tell me, long day or just looking for some fun?”

Stepping into the strip club was kind of an first experience for Gangdoo. He just knew of what to expect from movies on the television, but it gave off a vibe of clubs that he’s visited many times to visit the bars. His silver rings felt cold as they wrapped around his skin to settle at the base of his fingers, letting his dark hues glance when he stepped further into the club to avoid looking out of place. Somebody come get her, she’s dancing like a stripper ~ His soft smile would appear due to the song choice that was playing, because it stated the obvious when he took an seat before the stage to glance around once more. His attention was cause due to the change of the song along with the lovely ladies that were walking among the stage, noticing that one seem to catch his eye in particular while he would watch in silence; admiring from the sight before him, his head would tilt to the side when he would watch her moves until daring to let their eyes connect in such a moment. Unable to contain the soft smirk that would appear upon his lips, it was to let the other know that he was enjoying the view thus far.

          hopping off the bus, eunji finally sighed as she was in front of the mechanic shop after traveling nearly twenty minutes to get here. the battery of her car had died ( for the second time ) and it wouldn’t start even with the help of two separate cars trying to power it back up in the target parking lot, coming to the conclusion that she needed to order a new battery. she could’ve called an uber to bring her over, she could’ve called a towing truck too but both options were out of her budget and she REFUSED to called calvin -- or daehyun for that matter to help her. she’s only grateful she didn’t do her grocery run first, having only to carry one tote bag around on public transportation was tedious enough. walking into the shop, eunji felt a little out of place, unsure whether to go into the empty office or saunter into the garage next to it, nibbling on her lower lip and deciding looking in the garage could be a better option than waiting too long inside. “hello?” she called out, stopping awkwardly at the very entrance, “uhh, there’s no one in the office so i just...came over here?”

       FOUR HOURS of slumber was normal for jihoo & hopefully while being in an actual home away from his noisy mother he would be able to fix his schedule. yet he’s dragging himself out of bed, groaning & doing the typical monkey-butt scratch as he leaves his room without a shirt on. surely there must be some sort of caffeinated product in this apartment & he was set on finding it no matter what. what he wasn’t expecting was his stranger of a roommate being perched up in the kitchen. his AUTOMATIC reaction to seeing her was to reach up & cover both his nipples. “ uhm, yo ? ” he questions, “ are you gonna be out here every time i leave my room ? i’m not ready for that kind of commitment you know. ” his eyes land on the coffee mug in which he could find the brown liquid honey sitting there. “ shit — are one of those for me ? coffee sounds so good right now. ” with that he’s eager to move close to the other, smiling at her as to not pose a threat. “ i’m settled in good for right now. thanks for letting me crash here forever. ”

          the sight of her new roommate looking DISHEVELED and covering his chest was enough to make eunji snort, turning back around to finish making her own coffee while she left his to the side. “forever huh?” she mused, taking her mug before plopping herself on the counter, “if that’s the case there’s a couple things we should talk about.” eunji wasn’t for making rules, in fact she probably didn’t think this through with allowing someone into her apartment that she didn’t even interview. partially because she doesn’t care as long as someone is helping her with half the rent so she can finally resume her savings with little to no problem, she could’ve let just about anyone in. “what exactly is it that you do?” she started, blowing into her coffee to cool it down, “i mean, i just gotta know since rent is the first of every month, i already have this one covered but july is just around the corner.” she opened the cabinet to the side of her, blindly reaching in for a packet of RITZ to have with her coffee, offering jihoo his own pack. “i can barely cook three dishes, so if you were expecting a roomie who cooks, sorry to disappoint but it’s postmates for us or whatever we can manage with.”

“mm,” he let out a sound of consideration as eunji turned away from him— her anger still evident in the way her jaw tensed at his reflection in the mirror. matching her gaze, dae smiled emotionlessly, “just wanted to see you, that’s all.” though he had intended the words to come off detached, his voice betrayed him, instead carrying a hint of sincerity in the words that followed, “i missed you.” resting his hands gently on the back of her chair, he leaned over to her shoulder, his lips curling up as he watched her continue applying her makeup, “and i just wanted to tell you how pretty you look tonight.” 

          she knows that he knows those are the words she LOVES to hear. i missed you. whether he meant it or not, eunji feels some sort of validation from him thinking about her. it’s fucked up how easily it affects her, making her pause the motions of applying blush on her cheeks for almost a second as she stares at his reflection in the mirror. she can’t deny how much she’s missed him, almost unbearably so that there were OCCASIONS where she almost texted him in the middle of the night. but then she remembered why that wasn’t a good idea, why she stopped talking to him in the first place. he could’ve been with anyone on those nights, maybe with the very person who gave him that mark and she refused to look like a fool if he saw her message hours later. “i don’t need you to tell me that,” she huffed, dropping her brush on the table only to pick up her lipgloss, “i already know i am.” and yet goosebumps appeared on her arms as soon as he called her pretty, especially with how close his face was to hers and how the scent of his cologne was enough to make her shift in her seat. 

          they were LETHAL for each other, at times eunji felt suffocated under his gaze. what was once nothing but a fling turned into something more, something with a deeper meaning until she realized she was on her own there. they used to have carefree fun, they went out, daehyun took her to places she’s never DREAMED of going. physically and emotionally. the film of her polaroid camera ran out quickly with pictures of him, of them and they decorated her room, and even kept one of her favorite pictures of him on her phone-case. eunji had to go and fuck it up and catch genuine feelings for him, and she knew it was going to be unrequited and yet she stuck around and took what she could get until one day it was over, and her bed was left COLD. she had been doing so well without him despite the endless nights she missed his touch and cried herself to sleep for being so foolish. and somehow , despite everything, dae managed to crawl back into her life and she let him. it turned into a game of push and pull, there were more fights than there was sex, more BITE and silent treatments. eunji hated herself for the fact she’ll take what she can get from dae, not knowing how to shake him off ( not wanting to ). 

          “i’m still mad,” she finally said, standing up from her chair once she finished applying the perfect coat of GLOSS, “and you can’t keep coming in here pretending like flowers is all it takes to make me happy.” striding towards her dresser, she pulled out one of her outfits for the night: a sheer white crop top, and a low-waist leather skirt to show off the gleaming waist harness that went down to her thighs -- which she was already wearing. shamelessly, and without hesitation she turned around and dropped her robe leaving her in nothing but lingerie that left very little to the IMAGINATION, all while looking dae directly in the eye, expressionless. “give me one good reason why i shouldn’t tell oscar to escort you out, i’m not kidding.”
