Celebrating Halloween with my beloved vampire 🥰🥰💗💗 and Asaka/Asha as "Yamahime", a river youkai from the mountain who loves to sing at the river banks.

Here's a little drabble about the Yamahime. Hope you enjoy!✨

At a river bank deep inside the mountain, "Yamahime" would appear and take her seat on one of the rocks, slender fingers washed her beautiful long hair and lips sang a gentle lullaby in a lovely voice. Her lulling voice often attracted hunters to hunt her down, and she would just giggle between her melodies, body floated as if dancing above the water ripples whenever bullets from their matchlocks tried to pierce through her figure. Hundreds of years she spent in loneliness, watching how seasons changed, singing for the lost souls or the new hopes being born inside the forest.

Until one day, her song brought a man to stand before her. Not a human, she believed, as his serene gaze and gentle yet sorrowful smile told her how ancient he was. Thus, she sang a song; the melodies which had never been echoed through the mountain.
