hey there! a friend of mine posted a very strange kitty in our discord. i don’t have any details about this cat, just the pictures, but i was hoping you could tell me what in the world happened to make a cat look like this? i looked up chimera cats, but a lot of those seem to have that perfect split down the face, so i’m not sure. it’s a little beastie for certain though

chimeras can be any part of the body and are often asymmetrical, those perfect-split-down-the-middle animals are just the ones that show up in the media! I'm no expert on cat genetics but it certainly COULD be a chimera? A genetic test of the head vs the body would show for sure.
