A list of 500 VIP guests

Runway show stage: 4,500 mile-long structure and is more than 2,000 years old.

This show is my favorite show as of recent because of the staging it is beautiful and elegant. The sunset sets the mood of the show and is very photogenic.

Designer: Kim Jones

Location: The oldest of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Great Pyramid of Giza.

Season: Pre-Fall 2023 Menswear

The Collection: The inspiration came from the sky night, the astrology and stars which Kim incorporated on the prints.

75 looks: Utilitarian looks: bias-cut gray half-kilts worn on top of narrow tailored pants and jackets that were bright oranges and yellows.

I like the atmosphere of this Menswear show because it was located at the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Show Location: Stade de France: a huge catwalk showing a blue sky with white clouds, embellished in the middle was the bright red logo of the French Maison.

Collection: Women's collection inspired by the colors of Picasso and Matisse expressing both elegance and style.

The football world championship final between France and Brazil

300 models who represented the 5 continents, 200 technicians, 150 dressers who made up a team of 900 people working behind the scenes.

1.7 billion spectators including the 80,00 people who attends the fashion show.

“The Structured”

• On the runway Jourdan has a subtle sashay and a very serene runway walk.

• Instead of using her legs to emphasize her walk Jourdan has minimal waist movement and keeps her tightly tucked together.

• Prada SS09

Notables runway moment because majority of the models fell over due to their footwear being strapped sandals and socks. Jourdan was one of the models whom never stumbled and had a remembering exit.

• Infamous for exuding authority and confidence.

The walk is known on the runway to luxury brands such as Dior, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, and Carolina Herrera.

NYFW Marc Jacobs Fall-Winter 2017 Fashion Show

: Hip-Hop influence/ Lil Kim 90's era

The models casted for the show were incredibly diverse with mainly models of color whom are the industries favorites.

Models: Slick Woods, Lineisy Montero, Winnie Harlow, Adwoa Aboah, Alek Wek, Bind Walton.

Also, there were non-binary models and several transgender.

Garments: Knitwear that was oversized and patterned. Heavy Goldchains, sport-stripe pants and tracksuits.

Guest: Katy Perry and Mandy Moore

Makeup: Eye Gloss, cabernet lipstick, mix/match of eyeliner styles by Diane Kendal

Chanel F/W 2017 collection ~ Space Fashion Theme

: The center of the show was accompanied by a life-size Chanel rocket ship stationed at the center of the runway. Lagerfeld's galactic, futuristic-inspired set was reflected through not only the garments but the backdrop.

: The finale included a dramatic 10-second countdown with smoke as the Chanel Rocket blasted off. During the take off models gathered as Elton John's "Rocket Man" played.

: Chanel Ambassadors sat front row together: Cara Delevingne, Lily-Rose Depp, Pharrell Williams.

Garments: Space shawls, Futuristic metallic boots, spacesuit printed dresses.

The hair revived Jane Fonda's 1968 character in the form of voluminous, headbands and slicked back hair.

• Pieces from the new Garde-Robe line

Collection: Sharp finishes, tailored cuts

• Evening-wear became extra-formal once it was revived for this collection. Pieces: tuxedos with oversized jackets, foot-length silk trench coats with trains.

• Bold silhouettes with minimalist construction techniques.

Materials: Silk, handcrafted denim, gabardine, and wool.
