"i don't like you," rosalie lets out a harsh laugh and shakes her head, golden eyes rolling before refocusing back on bella, "but not for the reason you believe. it's not like i'm insecure enough to hate any new female brought into the family, even if it hasn't happened before with the exception of alice. but you don't get it, do you?" golden locks shake over her shoulders as she considers the other, her lips quirking into the smallest shape of a smirk. "you act as though you're dying this very second, and that if you don't marry edward now, you'll never have the opportunity to do so ever again. but you know that it's not true, don't you? even if you had some terminal illness that would only give you a few more years to live, you still would be more alive than any of us are."

arms cross over her chest, body locked in that incredibly unnatural way of hers. of theirs, their kind. she's given up trying to talk bella out of it, knowing that it's important she has a choice in the matter of her own life or death, but she's also resigned herself to being the only one who calls bella out on her stupid decision making, led by hormones and teenage feelings more than anything else, if no one in her family — or hers — is going to be the one to do it.

"of course i love emmett, but that's what you don't seem to get. if i had been given the choice, to live out my life like a normal mortal, and be with him for eternity, i would choose myself. this life, it shouldn't be chosen because you want to be with someone. it should be chosen because you have nothing else, and that doesn't come at being barely eighteen years old."

his laugh's twinged with a slight sound of pain, eyes closing for a second as things seem to spin. okay, maybe not as great as he's playing to play it off, but still not bad enough to make allison worry about him bleeding out all over the floor. hopefully.

"thanks for not sugar coating it," he rasps, brown eyes meeting hers as he fights to pull a smile on his face, hopefully something closer to that than a grimace. "it's okay, really. i've had worse injuries, and i can feel it kicking in. but deaton's told me before that some injuries are worse than others, and take longer to heal — not as long as something from an alpha, thankfully, but as long as it's doing something, i'm not going to worry about passing out any time soon." still, he leans against her offered support, appreciative of her being there. "it's starting to itch a lot, but otherwise it doesn't feel as bad as i would have expected, honest. in a couple hours, there probably won't even be a mark to show anything even happened."

ALLISON'S teeth sank into her lesser lip as scott inhaled sharply, startled by the sound of it. she was used to injuries like this by now, but she was still fearful every time his healing didn't kick in quickly.  ❛❛ yeah, yeah. i know, big, strong wolf, ❜❜ the femme responded, frowning as her tried to wave her away and pushed himself back against the wall. when he ceased in his attempts to shoo her away, nimble fingers moved to hold the torn fabric of his shirt away from his skin. SILENTLY, chocolate hues watched as the skin began to knit back together and felt a sigh of relief.  ❛❛ pretty ugly, honestly. it's deep, and there's a fair amount of blood, ❜❜ the brunette responded honestly. it looked painful, but the huntress knew that scott would wave it off for her benefit, as always. it could have been so much worse than it was, but allison never took any injury lightly. she knew better than anyone that a seemingly harmless blow could have catastrophic results. ❛❛ well, the healing's finally kicking in, so i sure hope so, ❜❜ she added.  ❛❛ it's going a little too slowly for my liking, but at least it's working. ❜❜ she leaned in close to him, chocolate hues locked on his.  ❛❛ and i'm not exactly ready to live without you, so this is a good thing, ❜❜ she offered before she leaned in to quickly peck his lips.  ❛❛  does it feel as bad as it looks though ? ❜❜
