It’s Coming Out Week at university, and Harry’s taken on a lot of responsibilities to make everything run smoothly. Finding his roommate’s boyfriend attractive is making that a bit difficult, unfortunately. It might help if he realized that said boyfriend (Louis) is really just there to help said roommate (Liam) figure out if Liam’s crush (Zayn) likes him back.

But that would make things too easy.

A fic where a hastily faked relationship and a lot of miscommunication almost ruins a perfectly good dance.

Louis needs a break from everything, from acting and the constant pressure of life in LA. He decides to move back home for a bit, some time with his family is exactly what can lift his spirits. What he doesn’t expect is to fall in love. Both with the town he hated so much so that he couldn’t wait to leave it years ago and with a curly haired florist that was the complete opposite of the guys he’d often meet in LA.

This fic was written as part of an ongoing challenge. We each select random numbers and are given a specific emotion from the book 1000 Feelings For Which There Are No Names. My prompt was 692: The shock that absolutely nothing has changed about your hometown.

God. How is it possible that the three of them managed to fuck things up for themselves so thoroughly in such a short amount of time?

Harry turns on the faucet, splashes some cold water on his face and hopes it’ll help clear his mind a bit. He does his best to avoid looking at the mirror; focusing instead on spreading toothpaste on his toothbrush. He doesn’t need to see his reflection to know that all of his mistakes are written on his face.

Of course all it would take for the universe to align was to tempt it, and now, after three months, and a stupid, drunken pact made among friends, it feels like the stars are spelling out a giant fuck you three in the sky.

Or the ‘That Awkward Moment’ AU where Harry, Niall and Liam make a pact, because being on your own is a great concept until it just isn’t anymore.
