Where do you call home? USA Sometimes I still think of the Pacific Northwest as my home. But live in the Midwest and I’m adjusting to it, despite many thing about my country and state.

Any tattoos or piercings? Ears. Wouldn’t mind snakebites maybe. I haven’t decided to get a tattoo yet. The idea is cool.

Last book or fanfic you read? pls, don’t @ me about my reading habits. I’m probably the slowest and least consistent reader I’ve met but the two I’m working on: Book: The Brilliant Death by Amy Rose Capetta. I haven’t finished it yet. It’s about a shapeshifter and an girl born into a powerful house. Fanfic: No One Will Get Away with Anything. I personally love the writing style. It’s just beautiful writing and engaging content. Oh who was that written by- I always forget. It’s some obscure name. hm Cciarants I think it was.  Yeah, that sounds right. ;)

Oh, I did recently finish the Audiobook of The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Do you collect anything? My collections are a bit sad and neglected. I used to collect rocks. Mostly I collect art supplies and unfinished projects. I like leather bound journals. I have a small coin collection. I have a fondness for shiny things. I’ve also started collecting glass jars and plastic containers that “might be useful”, but I think that’s something else. haha

Morning person or night owl? Night owl. The one time I had a job where I had to be up before 5am I would consistently lock my keys in my car when I got to work. I simply don’t function well in the morning.

Are you an optimist, a pessimist, or a realist? I am a chronically disappointed idealist. Sometimes I sound like an optimist “things could be better! there is hope! just a few changes here and there.” Other times I’m a complaining wet blanket, “ah, it’s fine. could be better, but nothing is perfect.” or long rants starting with “I just don’t understand why people won’t just… it can’t be that hard… It would just be so much better for everyone if…”  I’m not very easy to be around sometimes.

A quote you live by? god, there are a lot of good quotes but none that I really live by. I will say that when I started grappling with the concept of Agency it’s changed pretty much everything for me.

Do you believe in an afterlife? I don’t know. I don’t really think I can. I wish I could believe in something sometimes, maybe in reincarnation or something like that but since my consciousness as I know it ends at my death I’m not sure it matters. It honestly upsets me a bit because life is so big, and there are so many experiences it seems a tragedy that a human life is so short, and so much of it be spent just surviving and not exploring. I wish I could see forests grow and change. Civilizations rise and fall. I wish I could see evolution in thousand year time scales. I wish I could experience more.

A weird or fun fact about yourself: I don’t know if I have very many ‘fun facts’ but sometimes when I admit that I was home schooled or that I was a pastors kid, people say “ooooh that explain a lot.” So 

If you could have coffee with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be? There are a few people in a fandom I’m in that would enjoy listening to and chatting with in the real world. Not sure I’d want to meet any famous people, Oh! you know what, I’d love to have coffee with a local community organizer (ideally someone who’s political motivations are more similar to my own) to talk about what the community around me needs and how to get involved. I’m not sure how to find those people though, I’ve tried a few things already. I’ll probably try sitting in on some local city council meeting or something. #ruralmidwestproblems idk No pressure, to anyone!
