My precious Kizzy. I loved him so much and in return he truly loved me back. He was a wild kitten, an unruly teenager, and a cat that just didn't want to be held and wasn't very affectionate. He was loud, he was silly, he misbehaved. But when I lost Embry I turned to him more. I asked him for and showed him love and patience in return. He learned he really did love cuddles and snuggles and forehead kisses. He couldn't get enough. He'd demand to be held even if I was busy. He'd rest his little forehead against my mouth so I'd just kiss and kiss him. He snuggled in my arms every night as I went to sleep for years. He would just be so happy just being on my lap or my legs or on my hip. I showed him love and asked for it back and he gave and gave and gave.

He was my baby even if he didn't didn't start out that way. He was my dinglehopper, my nugget, my bunny, my kiz-kiz. He was Kismet, truly.

And now, as of this morning, he's gone. But by God did he love us and know how much he was loved in return.

Kizzy hasn't been acting well the last couple days so we took him to the vet.

He has cancer. A huge tumor in his intestines and the vet recommended putting him down today.

I'm in such shock.

We're taking him home to say goodbye to him today and then we're gonna have to put him down tomorrow and I'm just so so distraught.

Kizzy is my baby and I'm just so sad.
