Just casually remembered that scene in “Fool’s Errand” where Fitz is like “I’m surprised to see you in your bed this morning” and the Fool is like “Not as surprised as I am to see you in yours :)”

It’s such an excellent scene. Because the Fool thought Fitz would have sex with Starling and Fitz thought the Fool was going to sleep with Laurel. But they are both so glad that the other didn’t do that.

Then, they keep talking and Dutiful wakes up and they start being formal with each other again and Dutiful goes like “do you think I’m an idiot and that I didn’t hear you right now?”. There is also Dutiful thinking that these two are his first friends.

I love it so much!!! I love “Fool’s Errand so much! The entire Tawny Man trilogy in fact. It’s my favourite trilogy of all time.
