so the way I think that'd happen is one night they all manage to get their ankle monitors off and escape, even while being hunted they manage to get a weapon stash and decided to bring the fight to 4 and 8, to take them down. They do all feel guilty for how they made them feel and suffer so they plan to beat them then try to make amends.

If they lose the fight or win it could end similarly with them begging for forgiveness and assuring that they did care about them. Though I am not sure how 4 and 8 would react in either case

i mentioned momarie in my V8 au but how would it fit (or even work) in the villain 32 au? like marie kinda thinking of four like her own child only to realize she neglected her

Marie tried to be there for 4 but time and time again her other responsibilities got in the way. Marie even thought 4 would be a better captain since she was less cocky but Cuttlefish had a bias for 3. 4 and 8 did appreciate Marie at least trying but they (mainly 8) still thought she could have done more

8 and 4 hate the concept of mind control too much to do that

Most of inkdia is under 4 and 8's rule, since they were far better commanders than Octavio, they let the world run as usal for the most part but often will change anything they see as unjust making them friends of the lower class and hated by upper-class.

A few big companies tired slather campaigns or, in a few cases, hiring hitmen but both were stopped quickly and the heads of said companies either were banished from all city's or to the abandoned depths of Octo Valley (I believe octo canyon still has some Octarian old timers living there peacefully) though in the most severe cases the people responsible were sent to 4 and 8's home and never seen again....

3 was severely beaten, mostly fueled by 4 and 8's hatred of having people they trust turn on them which basically was the whole reason they hate the NSS though most of the compaines people were beaten by soliders, not by them personally and either killed or thrown into the worse parts of the splatlands where if the heat and lack of hydration or water didn't kill them, the gangs or wild life did.

3 wasn't kill as they still has a small metric of care for them but they were worked far harder after that point and her restraining collar (which 4 and 8 put on her since they know how much 3 valued being in control) was far tighter
