J. Cole, Lute & DaBaby Rep NC to the Fullest in “Under the Sun” Video
One of my favorite albums of the year, Dreamville came through on their promise with Revenge of the Dreamers III. While the album is still in rotation, the team looks to keep the album alive with its latest video. After appearing alongside Omen and Mez for the “Sleep Deprived” video, Lute joins J. Cole and DaBaby for the video to the album’s opener, “Under the Sun.” Repping their home state of North Carolina loud proud, the three celebrate life and its successes in the new visual. Check out the video.

Future – “What It Do”
Currently on the road, Future decides to crank out a new single in “What It Do.” This is likely just a loose offering, and not anything that may appear on his and Young Thug’s Super Slimey 2 project. Either way, listen.

Jhené Aiko – “Trigger Protection Mantra”
Having trouble sleeping or finding your inner peace? Well, let Jhené Aiko‘s latest assist with that. Dubbed a “Trigger Protection Mantra,” Jhené’s sound healing mentor Jeralyn Glass explained the track in a message left on the description of the song: Remember that the alchemy is just as important if not more important than the note itself. The energetic of the alchemy is what is amplified, becomes quantum and together with Jhene’s voice and her words or vowels, this is where incredible power lies. Listen, preferably with headphones on, above.

A Boogie Wit da Hoodie Is Having “Mood Swings” On New Single
After capping off 2018 with his Hoodie SZN album, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie spent this year jumping on tracks with Max B, Khalid, 2 Chainz, and Don Q. He was also on that new version of 50 Cent’s “Big Rich Town,” but let’s just act like that didn’t happen. The original Power theme is back. All is good. Now, with Artist 2.0 on the way, the HighBridge rep has come through with a new single, “Mood Swings.”.

Wizkid – “Ghetto Love”
In 2017 Afropop star Wizkid dropped his stateside debut Sounds From The Other Side. Since then he’s released a steady string of singles (with “Everytime” being one of this writer’s absolute favorite), and returns with another in “Ghetto Love.” His latest bop came with a matching set of visuals.

Gucci Mane – “Richer Than Errybody” f. NBA YoungBoy & DaBaby
Dropping his eleventy-seventh project in Delusions Of Grandeur at the top of the summer, Gucci Mane may already have a follow up in the works. Calling on YoungBoy Never Broke Again and DaBaby, the three artists connect for “Richer Than Errybody.” With Gucci on the hook and middle verse, YoungBoy leads the way as DaBaby pops in for the song’s final verse. The song also comes on the heels of DaBaby joining Lil Nas X on his “Panini (Remix)” and YoungBoy’s “Slime Mentality.”
