no but u dont understand how upset nagisas backstory makes me, like

her sick mother, whom she ADORES, abuses her and blames her for her father leaving. she says nagisa hates her and wants to leave her too despite constant reassurances that she loves her. all she wants is for her mother to love her and appreciate her and she tries so hard to make that happen but it never does. and then kyubey approaches her, knowing fully well her situation and planning to exploit it, and it works. she makes a wish for a cheesecake that her mother will love, hoping to earn her gratitude, but she dies before she even gets the chance to give it to her. and in the hospital where her mother died, she becomes a witch. she wasn't even a magical girl for a full day before it happened. then mami comes to the hospital to destroy the new witch and she dies, something that is made all the more tragic from knowing what she becomes to nagisa in the future.

nagisa is quite possibly the best example of how kyubey manipulates and exploits young girls for his own gain, and her story always hurts me no matter what.

I find it so fascinating that when responsibility for her mother's death was taken from her, Nagisa ended up changing to match the description given of the killer

That way it's almost like she can pretend to be responsible for it.

I want to see Yu and Nagisa meet again.

isnt it interesting how nagisa, a child deeply depraved of love and affection, has a horn for a weapon? something that's literally made to make noise and grab attention?

and yet when she uses it, all that comes out are bubbles. completely silent air that may attract attention visually, but will never be heard. even when she's given something to help her be heard, nothing she does ever reaches her mother.

Witch Font collection Part 1 - Madoka Magica

This font collection was still in its infancy when i first started making it and i've come a long ass way since i first remade the few fonts i had and the ones that were lost.

Musical Font Runes is the only one i revectored to add new letters to it. the others were hand done by me or remade by hand.

I will be making more fonts in the future but for right now heres the handful of them i made.

Why do you need your earbuds to have a wire so badly?

I am assuming this is about a post I reblogged like six months ago when I went off on forced technological enshitification and the slow erosion of consumer options. But sure, I'll bite.

Why do I "need" my earbuds to have a wire? I dunno, Anon, maybe I:

Don't want to have to worry about recharging my earbuds.

Don't want my earbuds to be even easier to lose.

Don't want my earbuds to need separate accessories that are as easy to lose as the earbuds.

Prefer to have bluetooth turned off on my devices for security and safety reasons.

Like being able to seamlessly plug my earbuds into my computer, my MP3 player, or any other device with a headphone jack.

Don't want to spend 50 dollars on decent wireless earbuds when I can do all the above things with a pair of solid earbuds that cost me like $12 during the Obama administration.

Don't care about what kinds of headphones or earbuds people wear but don't like what it says about our society when other people apparently care what kind of earbuds I'm wearing so much they have send an Anonymous ask to interrogate me about it.

And I guess, more abstractly, because fuck Apple. That's why.

i think that people should start using “in poor taste” as a descriptor again given it is often the most applicable and clearest phrase when discoursing about media and analysis; sometimes a piece of art isn’t actually THE most problematic thing of all time is is. ​just in poor taste (not JUST in poor taste as a reductive take on potential harm but/and as in regardless of intent the impact is this was an offensive or stupid take/choice)
