      The tyranny of a hot day was ridiculous. It made him almost jump into the ocean several times. Sometimes their assignments were really too much, but what could he do? He had already committed enough robberies to meet more than abrupt end so, on he marched. He wondered how they were all making it through. Hiei more than the rest, he was wearing the most heat absorbent color of all. An absolute madman. Kurama turns to Yusuke, hoping to hear something that will bring about relief.

      Are they fighting monsters in an icy swamp? A tundra of winter? Please. Anything than this. Maybe his long hair wasn’t helping anything. They all looked significantly cooler than him.

                        “Aren’t you hot? Tell me we’re fighting jokesters near a pool.”

  Just listening to the accusations of these humans who knew nothing about him left a bitter taste in his mouth, sour and radiating his tongue. The woman with them refused to take her eyes off him. He could feel the suspicion radiating off of her like candle wax, dripping down after a flame. He wasn’t the type to get involved with human affairs like this, he just got caught up in the crossfire. Once they let him go and he began his walk home, he noticed he was being followed. Of course. It was her. He really couldn’t believe that they sent her after him.

  If they were really concerned with him being a murderer then they weren’t exactly being smart. He turned towards an alleyway to confirm his thoughts and there she was. Following after him like a lost puppy. He stopped walking forwards in order to force an interaction. Not long after she bumped into him, dropping her things. He almost wanted to help, but he knew better than helping and possibly incriminating himself some more. Kurama settled for just talking to her then.

   “I am fine, but what about you? You’re following me into a very dark place. Is that really how your superiors treat their women? They didn’t have the courage to follow me alone?” A shame, really.

He caught her interest by accident. His name came during one of their investigation. When she met him at the police station, she felt his aura like she called that. It was like when she met a Ghost but with a big warning flashing in his mind: danger. But she didn’t care more about her feeling of danger. She followed him since their meeting. She knew he had a link with the murder but she had no prove of it. Of course her job was just analyzing the evidence to help the detective; But for one time she felt like she needed to investigate herself. She had no prove he did something bad. She just hoped finding evidence.

Of course following someone in the street was not always safe. Oksana didn’t think he noticed her presence. Maybe she had a doubt when he turned in a more empty and small street. But she followed him because she was too curious. And when he stopped, she bumped in him by accident. “Oh. My apologies.” She said while she knelt to take her bag who fell on the ground. She tried to collect her all thing: keys, phone, pen,… “I am sorry I was distracted and I didn’t watch where I am going. Are you okay?” She lied to him. It was not like that her plan should work.
