I’m a terrible, terrible person who’s been concentrating on my MULTI-MUSE blog because I’ve realised I struggle with more than one blog at any given time. I really do enjoy Sybil and I miss writing her but for my own sanity I may have to move her over to this blog as well. I’m sorry to be a pain! ; v ;

   fenris may have a reputation, but he is no lord. tevinter is a pit of snakes — as his movement gathered momentum, betrayals and bounty hunters came in swarms. the irony was that the people he tried to help were often the same people who tried to sabotage him— it was hard to tell friend from foe as time went past, and a starved elf was just as likely to sell him out for their freedom as they were to trust him to give it to them. 

   the meagre few who chose to stay and assist him were no army, no legion. the odd human baker who would smuggle a slave into their pantry while the guards strode past; the odd slave-pen warden who would slip a key through the bars of a cage when no magister was near. his contacts were all hungry, all in danger, and one by one they were being hunted down. he’d lost good men and women in this fight. 

   so he turns on this starling new recruit with void eyes, unexpectant, setting down his stolen slaver’s documents. she is young. younger than most who had risked what they had to join his cause— his most common ally was an older fellow, old enough that they had nothing left to lose. this girl still had a life in front of her. 

   “ then there are some things you must tell me. firstly, how you found me. second, what you can do, and how you can help. and third, how do i know i can trust you. ”

               ❛ i was with the inquisition. ❜ sybil says by way of EXPLANATION, though her vague words scarcely scratched the surface —— it had been the inquisition’s resources ( namely those who dabbled in whispers ) that had made her aware of a possible UPRISING against those she hated, and she had purposely left the inquisitor, and many others within, none the wiser to her desires. it had only been a MATTER OF TIME after that until she followed the rumours to this, to him. 

it’s not what she had expected, in truth. after the inquisition, this seemed a much QUIETER affair, pulling in those who were desperate enough to risk themselves, not those who fought because it was the RIGHT THING TO DO. she looks around, keeping her gaze as steely as possible, trying to banish the nerves that were beginning to creep in. it was something about the void eyes of the one she spoke to; the way he seemed barely even REACT to her initial plea, and it took everything in her to stop herself from glancing down, fidgeting, showing her discomfort somehow. ❛ i can’t make you trust me, all i can tell you is that i was a slave once and i never want ANYONE to go through what i did. please —— i want to see tevinter pay for what it does to people like us. ❜

ok but i need a plot where there’s these two idiots who are roommates, and they bicker and act like a married couple constantly, and can hang out like bros but they’re completely platonic, no we’re not in love that’s preposterous!! and it’s so evident that they’re into each other like whenever one goes out on a date, the other is all bitter like ‘no i’m definitely not jealous’. and they like leave bars together at some stupidly early hour and their friends tease them and they just go home and get drunk together instead. and like domestic washing the dishes and fighting over who does what and flinging soap at each other. and then one day it kind of just clicks, you know, like wow you’re my best friend but i think i might love you as more this is so difficult and just, give this to me now.
