//Spider-Man 2 is releasing Friday, and I'm not as hyped to be on here as I was when the first game came out. I remember when I was so pumped being in the My Hero fandom, RPing with some great people, but no one seemed to know who Spider-Man was.
I was even accused of gatekeeping when I was so puzzled how a well known superhero wasn't known in a fandom that HAD superheroes.
I wish I had more friends in the MHA fandom. I miss it sometimes. At the same time, I also don't. I just wish I could write more stories as Web-Head.

Katsuki couldn’t do much but glare. Given he barely used the guy’s hero name to begin with, he didn’t have much leg to stand on against him.
“Tch!” He clicked his tongue. “Do whatever you want! I don’t care!”
Spider-Man couldn’t help but place his hands on his hip as he cocked his head to the side, squinting his eye lenses.
“You know, for someone who was making a ruckus about saying your whole sentence of a name, it sounds like you do care. Look, if I’m being beaten to a pulp by a hulking villain like say, Rhino or Scorpion. You think I’m going to have time to say, “Hey! Great Explosion Murder God Grand Pubah Massive Excellency To The Sixty Fourth Power One Star Off To The Galaxy And Get On Your Knees And Worship Me And My Fourth Of July Fireworks and Explosions Grand Diety Dynamight!” I’m gonna be knocked out cold! Look, there’s really nothing wrong with keeping it simple. And man, will you please stop glaring at me? Where I come from, that’s kinda rude!”

Spider Man, were there times that Bakugou reminded you of Flash Thompson? Especially how he behaved towards Midoriya?
"...Boy, I honestly had no idea if anyone would ever ask me that.
I have to be really frank here. I know U.A. is teaching every kid the ideas and fundamentals on how to be a hero. I never had a hero school, and everything I learned about being a hero was essentially "on the job" training. But after spending some time at U.A., and seeing how Midoriya and Bakugo interact with each other, the way Bakugo is always angry, calling people names, and picking on Midoriya a lot...
...Yeah. Yeah, Bakugo reminds me so much of Flash when I was in high school. But on the other side of the coin, Midoriya reminds me a lot of myself at that age, still figuring things out and rushing headlong into a fight.
And, I have to be honest, I know Bakugo is still learning, and has a way to go, but the way he acts... He doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me. Unless he's up against a villain, heroes should never insult their allies, their teammates, or whoever they end up with. And with how he always says he'll kill someone or telling people to die, he makes me worried he'll actually go through with it, since it only takes one hot headed moment to snuff a life out. Simply put, heroes are not bullies.
I just really hope he learns about the "great responsibility" with his powers before it's too late. His brain may be sharp as a tack, maybe even sharper than mine, but I'm very afraid that one day, that haughty attitude of his is going to get himself killed.
The last thing we need are dead kids, and I don't want Bakugo being on that list."

//I know I’ve not been on here for a minute, but considering how things are going in the manga for My Hero, by the time this thing reaches its end, it’s making my Peter of that universe consider hanging up the suit and retiring as Spider-Man. Considering the amount of losses within the hero community, and a few of his friends actually dead, as he would no doubt be friends with Star and Stripe as well considering her association with All Might and Captain America, his heart would be so heavy that he would want to step away and no longer be a hero, and return to being just Peter Parker. A kid from Queens with an aunt who can make the best wheatcakes.
Hard to believe the Webslinger thought this would be fun being a role model for kids in a hero school, only to be wrapped up in a war as bad as the Hero Civil War, the Infinity War, and Carnage’s mayhem combined. Despite not writing in this verse for a while, my Spidey has certainly changed, and not for the better.
Peter needs a hug. Badly. Everyone in this series does.

well, this was the first time another person had found their way onto the rooftop of rody’s favorite vantage point. so when he eyed the other in a suit, he had to wonder if this person was a hero or a villain.
“don’t get many people up here..” he said in a calm tone as pino was all but nervous on his shoulder, chirping away–almost clinging to rody’s neck. the teenager was trying his best to calm her down, patting her on the head to do so.
“No? I should hope not. This is actually one of my favorite lookouts in this city. Great when I want some quiet.”
Spider-Man had just landed on the railing of the rooftop that the other younger man was occupying, gracefully as ever with pinpoint precision from the apex of his web swing. He seemed pretty young for his age, too, and by the look of his dress, possibly either homeless or poor. Considering the Webslinger’s own upbringing, he could relate to that every bit.
Spidey couldn’t help but notice that he was keeping his distance a bit, and the little bird on his shoulder seemed to almost be hiding behind him.
“Look, I know the whole spider thing is my whole gimmick, but you don’t have to be scared of me.” He said. “I’m actually a pro hero. You can trust me.” He jutted his head back to beckon him over. “”C’mon over. View’s great up here!”

“WAH..” Denki screamed as he ducked and ran out of the way of the villain’s attack, covering his head.
“Heads up, Chargebolt!”
Spider-Man called out immediately as his Spider-Sense warned him of the incoming attack, as the webslinger was able to jump and backflip over the villain while Denki was able to dart away from the attack.
Landing on his feet, Spidey was doing his best to think two steps ahead as the villian they were up against, a small time crook with what looked like a tough hide Quirk that wasn’t too different from a villain back home, the Rhino. The villain looked back as both the UA student and Avenger were keeping themselves planted.
“You two are really starting to piss me off.” He growled. “Let me go quietly and I promise I won’t have to kill you both.”
“Fat chance of that happening, rawhide.” Spidey said with a retort. “Assaulting innocent people while stealing a wallet is still worth a kick to the face. But now you have me and the Stun Gun Hero to worry about!”
Spidey looked to the side as he made eye contact with Denki.
“I’m gonna keep him busy, Chargebolt. Think you can give this guy a shock that’ll make Thor jealous?”

Spider-Man cocked his head to the side. He could have sworn the costume would have given him away, but Shigaraki didn’t have any idea who he was? Suppose it was just his luck. Even the big name villains would probably still consider the Avenger merely a small fry.
“Aw, that kinda hurts my feelings that you don’t know who I am, Shigs.” He said, feigning sadness. “After all, I know a bit about you and what you did at USJ. I would have gotten there myself and kicked you straight to the stratosphere, but All Might beat me to it. Let’s just say I don’t really take kindly to people that would want to kill kids just because they could.”
The seriousness in his voice was definitely pronounced, but his lighthearted tone returned.
“Thankfully, I don’t have a big speech or introduction so I’ll just tell you exactly who I am.”
“I’m your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man!”
“ Is this supposed to be some kind of joke? They send a clown after me instead of All Might himself? I almost KILLED THE SYMBOL OF PEACE. “ He sounded offended, much like an angry child that hadn’t been praised enough for something he had done. Even if the attack was a failure, the fact remained that he had almost managed to kill All Might himself and two more Pro heroes on top of that. He had made them realize just how vulnerable they were.
And instead of sending a proper force of Pro’s after him, there was
this single idiot swinging about, talking so casually. It pissed him off!
Immediately Tomura’s hand began to properly scratch at his throat, first normally, then more frantically as the anger within began bubbling up with no outlet other than the itch it caused in his throat. Shigaraki’s free hand was balled to a fist, eyes narrowing dangerously.
“ Children this, children that - who cares about that? They were just in the way which means I get to kill them. If you wanna stand in my way too, then I’ll just destroy you and get this over with. ”
“If I had a dollar for every time I heard that back home, I’d be a millionaire.” Spidey said. “Look, we both know how dangerous you are, but that still doesn’t mean you have to be so cliche about it. Anyone would rush toward you and attack you so you could dust them. I hate to disappoint, but I’m not gonna do that.”
Spider-Man took a readied stance and held his hand out, as if beckoning Shigaraki to come to him. It’d be foolish to charge after him and attack. Even with his Spider-Sense, it’d be really difficult to avoid a grab. One touch from him, and it would be all over.
The Webslinger had to be very careful about this encounter.
“Now, looking at you, you really want to kill me. I mean, who could blame you, right? I got a lot of people who want me dead back in New York! But you’re welcome to try and give it a shot. Though, you might want to get that itching problem looked at first. I’d feel bad fighting someone who has a serious rash. Maybe there’s a cream for that.”

Spider-Man could hear the raspy voice of Shigaraki as he appeared like a specter in the darkness. He seemed to be a good distance away from the warehouse Spidey was stuck to, and the webslinger preferred to keep it that way. Shigaraki was a serious threat, after seeing the wounds he inflicted on Eraserhead, his flesh exposed after his skin decayed. The visual still made his skin crawl.
If it came down to a fight, Spidey would have to keep himself moving, to not allow Shigaraki to touch him. But all he needed was a stakeout, and he got his answer.
Spider-Man jumped off the warehouse wall and landed back on the ground, now facing down the decaying villain, yet still at a safer distance.
“You know, if I was supposed to die from every accident made by someone, I’m sure I could count the times insurance would fail to cover me.” Spidey quipped in response to Shigaraki. “Good to see ya though, Shigaraki! You picked a great brooding spot when not trying to kill young kids.”
“ Huh. “ Tomura stared at the red clad hero, actually surprised that this guy knew so much about him. Well, the U.A attack was all over the news, he sure hoped that Pro heroes knew his name by now. But that made their meeting seem less like coincidence now…
“ Who the hell are you? ”
His accent was different too, it didn’t sound like this hero was from around here, which would also explain why Tomura didn’t know a thing about him. Out of all the Pro’s he could run into, it had to be one he had no data on. But upon examining his costume and skills - the villain could assume that it had something to do with spiders. Because why not advertise your skills on your costume like an idiot? —
Tomura’s hand came up to absentmindedly scratch a finger against
his throat, eyes narrowing at the other while he waited for a response.
