So I’ve been watching some Powerpuff Girls recently, the original ones not the reboot. And I suddenly had this kind of midnight thought regarding the show. So, if you know Powerpuff Girls you’ll know that it was Mojo Jojo who pushed Professor Utonium, causing him to break the glass that contains Chemical X and add it into the mix, that makes Mojo Jojo a creator of the Powerpuff Girls.

This creates a connection and some weird relationship between the Powerpuff Girls and Mojo Jojo and makes them archnemesis. Mojo Jojo was the one who created the Powerpuff Girls yet the one that wants to destroy them the most This to me is a really important key element for the Powerpuff Girls series. But in the 2016 reboot, the opening seems to be the same, but there is one difference that destroys that key element. You see, in the 2016 reboot opening, after succeeding mixing the elements. Professor did a spin and hit Chemical X with his hand.

There is no way this could be Mojo’s doing, it was pure accident. That means there is no connection, no rivalry, nothing between the girls and the monkey. And that also means this reboot doesn’t care about the original and that it’s not a continuation to the original. This is such an important element of the entire Powerpuff Girls series and yet they completely forgot about it. This is just a thought I had before sleep. This may just be a little scene from the intro but it’s this one scene that’s the most important about the Powerpuff Girls. I don’t know if anyone else has thought about and posted something like this, but I just want to share this sudden thought I have. Agree with me or not, here it is.

The imagery in this montage is one of my absolute favorites from the entire show. Miss Bellum’s distraught speaks so loudly without single word. That’s one of the things I loved so much about the original PPG.

Calling all PPG fans
I’m trying to figure something out for an upcoming video. I have a request!
Tumblr media
If you own a PHYSICAL COPY of this game, I need your help.
Go to the Enter Secrets Menu and enter the following passwords
RICHARDKIM
BILLSGIRLS
Please report any and all results, including if nothing happens, as well as what region your game is from (NTSC, PAL, etc)
EDIT: On the side of the cart, there’s a little code (CGB-BJJE-USA) and some copies end in USA-2. It might be useful to know which code is on your cart as well.
Unfortunately emulating it is no good, needs to be a physical copy.
Thank you in advance! I know not many people own this game but I need to test it on more than just my own copy.
