I am just SO exhausted by the Bates online presence to be honest.....I can't watch them anymore. Every single post is trying to sell me something, either from their business, a paid partner, or their siblings business, it's just literally constant ads ads ads and then that mixed with their over documentation of everything, materialism, focus on appearance, photoshoots for going to Starbucks, etc it feels hollow and gross lately.

And I know they're not unique at all and not even as bad as some mainstream influencers, but tbh I really don't follow other people like that, at least not this closely. It's just exhausting, the commodification of every millisecond of their lives has gotten really tiresome. I've thought a few times about permanently unfollowing some of them but I know my curiosity will get the best of me, so I think I'm just gonna take a couple of days off and see how that goes. Honestly maybe if there was a 'rift' between Erin and some sisters it was over that??? Maybe she's tired of the incessant materialism and oversharing too idk.

Anyway I'll be out of the loop when it comes to the Bates for awhile so it's pretty much a guarantee something crazy will happen.

I gotta say I’m still confused by this house.. they’re putting almost all their savings and so much time and effort into a house they’ll have outgrown by the next child basically? And even now, there’s one room with twin beds, but then there’s a room with a double that I assume would be a guest bedroom, but where’s the second children’s room? or are they gonna have two bunk beds in that one room.. It’s just such a weird choice if you literally get to choose how to set up that house.

So I was adding zodiac signs into my spreadsheet because I was bored and I realized there’s a giant divide between the older Duggar kids, who are mostly earth or water signs, a lot of capricorns and scorpios in there, and poor jinger as the only fire sign, and ZERO air signs, and then the younger 5, the youngest three are all fire, and Jackson and Hannie are the only air signs in the family. No wonder they always got along so well! 

Also these are the spouses signs, also zero air signs (free spirits are just not the Duggar style), mostly they’re evenly matched and work well according to their signs, but obviously keep in mind there’s the whole rest of the horoscope AND it’s also mostly just a fun way to analyze character and bullshit otherwise, so there’s that. But to the Duggars etc it’s probably like, the devil’s work, so let’s go ahead with it. Jeremy and Jinger are actually not a great match as sag/virgo, also joe and kendra as cap/leo, same with Jed and Katey, that’s an interesting dynamic.. Claire and Justin, Jill and Derick and Lauren and Josiah are great matches actually.

And last but not least here’s the second generation:

A lot more air signs, but pretty evenly mixed.

I think you can see her a couple of times in the Jana christmas reels, at least. I was stopping those so much trying to see if Josiah or Lauren were there, but I don‘t think they were.. they all really took their therapists‘s advice, it seems!

same! she was never very active on social media but now that most Duggar social media is pretty locked down, she's become almost as elusive as Lauren.

I don’t know if that’s true, a LOT of the family liked or shared Jeremy and Jinger’s statement, which came down to the same thing, it was just longer and with more blabla about christianity and sin, which is on brand for Jeremy I guess. Even some of the kids that live at home liked or shared it, I think Jason definitely did. Jill and Derrick put out a statement as well saying they agree with the verdict, and Michelle and Jim Bob in their statement didn’t say they thought the verdict was wrong or anything. So I think this is just their version of those statements, and nothing that would make the family cut them off or anything. I think it’s nice to see that even some people as deep in the kool-aid as these two are, particularly when it comes to conspiracy theories (remember they were the ones on parler), went to see and accepted the jury’s decision and the evidence as truth and support the judgement. It’s certainly better than the statements they all had last time, with all that forgiveness and god’s love etc.
