JD + Abbie are in California for a helicopter expo (did you know those exist? I didn't), so they're hanging out with the Vuolos.

I notice Abbie is now taking pics that don't show the kids' faces.

Also, I am tickled by the Easter dress in their CostCo cart because I have a daughter the same age as Grace, and I have 100% bought an Easter dress from CostCo. Those dresses are hella cute, and my husband has to redirect me whenever we pass the hangers of tiny people clothes.

A couple SSs from Jed and Katey’s video about the Duggar Fall Festival. Abbie is definitely visible with Charlie, and Lauren clearly has an older (but still under a year) baby on her lap.

I did not see any Dillard or Seewald kids there (although they may have been).

Edit: Reddit thinks the baby in the middle of the second pic is Joken 4. Ruffles on the shoulders suggest girl (although I am not convinced of that).

We obviously have nearly no data on Abbie's #2 but will we be getting an estimate on when we can expect #3?

Quick Update on John + Abbie.

We really don't have much to go on for Charlie! We don'e even know his full name! We also don't know his Exact DOB, although we know it was in September 2022. Duggar Data will be using September 16, 2022—i.e., the midpoint of the month—as Charlie's Estimated DOB. (This is consistent w/ my usual rule for estimating vague data.)

Because we're so sure of Charlie's Due Date, I'm not going to factor has Delivery vs. Due Date into the Predictor. The Predictor will just use's Gracie's data for that. His Child Spacing will factor in, though, and his Estimated DOB will otherwise be treated normally. Data for Timing of Pregnancy Announcement and Sex Reveal will factor in in the normal manner, since we have a solid Approximate Due Date for Charlie (September 8, 2022).

John + Abbie's Gracie–to–Charlie Spacing (January 7, 2020—Sept. 16, 2022) was 983 Days (~32 Months). So far, that's their only Non–Firstborn Child Spacing—so, that'll become their Procreative Pace (PP). But, Abbie is >Age 25... So, we need to adjust for age. She's just over 30 Years Old, and in the Age 30—34.99 Age Bracket. Per the data, Child Spacings for women in that age group are ~1.1373x Longer than those of younger women. So, Abbie's Age–Adjusted Procreative Pace (AAPP) is 983 Day * 1.1373 = 1,118 Days.

Counting 1,118 Days (~36.7 Months) from Charlie's Estimated DOB, we get October 5, 2025 for Duggar–Burnett #3's Projected DOB. If they choose to, John + Abbie will probably announce May 22, 2025, or thereabouts.

Their ESOQ is 5 Children.

(Some of you might be curious about this... If we didn't account for Abbie's age, Baby #5's Projected DOB would be May 26, 2025, and we'd be expecting a Pregnancy Announcement on January 7, 2025, which happens to be Gracie's 5th B–Day. Their ESOQ would remain the same at 5 Children.)

Burnett-Duggar #1 Baby Name Reaction

On October 1, 2022, John and Abbie Burnett-Duggar announced the arrival of their son, Charlie, who was born sometime in September. Charlie joins big sister Grace Annette Duggar. Shortly after they announced I made a brief comment about the name, but put off a longer post in the hopes John and Abbie would give us more information. At this point though it looks like this is all we will get (honestly for the best). I will still share my thoughts about Charlie’s name, and we can see if my predictions were correct!

I thought that John and Abbie would choose either a family name for this baby (like John or David) or if they didn’t use a family name, they would pick a classic name, with Charles being my top choice. I thought the middle name would probably be John or Robert, if those weren’t already used for the first name.

If we can assume that Charlie is short for Charles (and I think we can), then I corrected the middle name correctly! The first time I have done that on this blog. I even said this quote in my original prediction: “If I had to pick a first name that’s not a family name, I’m going with Charles. I think Gracie and Charlie sound really cute together.” Obviously we don’t know the middle name, so I can’t comment on that. If we are given more info in the future I will make a follow-up post.

Congratulations John and Abbie on your new arrival! And good for you for keeping him out of the spotlight!
