“You will leave me here, so lonely and cold?” Rhae said pouting at her laughing lover. “Surely you can help me get warm before you leave...”
Tumblr media
robb can’t help but laugh as he sees the mischievous smirk on his lover’s face, still curled into the sheets of his bed. “don’t give me that look,” he chuckles. “you know i can’t stay. no matter how much i want to.”

Reblog if others can send you sinday asks even if you’re not ship partners.
Sometimes the possibilities for a ship can come to light by answering curious asks about your muse’s interests!
Add in the tags whether or not you’re open to answer (soft) sinday starters/starter memes.
Multi’s feel free to add in the tags for which muses these apply.

Fae grinned wickedly at her comment about him looking hot and actually knowing it.  He changed back into his own clothes and held on to the selection she had picked out for him.
Before following Cordelia, Fae caught Mrs. Summer’s arm and gave her Faith’s sizes so that whatever the other Slayer’s mom picked out for his sister it was at least in the right size.
He then followed behind Cordelia like a lost puppy as he commented, “Leather’s good although I’m not as big of a fan of leather pants as my sister.”  Fae had quickly picked up that one of the few things it seemed that those here knew about his twin was her love of leather pants.
@arfarfpsycho
“Good, though I’m sure they’d look great on you.” She smirked imagining just that. Hmm, perhaps leather wouldn’t be so bad... now that she thought about it. But not at all innocent thoughts aside, she was having a good time dressing him up and flirting. Something that lately she had little of, what with her family losing all their money and Xander Harris of all people cheating on her... and that without even mentioning all the weird that happened in this damn town.

It had been a normal day in the northern camp, with the men talking with each other while they ate some food together. The meetings was going as smoothly as it could taking into account how everyone liked to voice their opinion even if Robb had the last saying or, at least, it was until some of his soldiers came interrupted it to show a woman with blood on her to him “ your grace! we found her in the surrounding and we couldn’t risk letting her scape, who knows where she’s heading and what she can tell others ” was the explanation he got when they had asked the reason as to why they had taken her captive.
Robb had never seen her but he guessed she still deserved a small chance to explain herself “ Please, leave us ” the Stark ordered and his men only nodded before doing as they were told, though one of them folded the map in the table of his tent so she couldn’t see what they were planning before he was gone “ who are you? ” was the first question he asked the moment they were both alone since if she told him her name he could see where she and her family stood in the war as he remembered his lessons on which houses served which “ and, how did you manage to get near this camp? Did anyone tell you where it could be or you happened to find it on your own? ” were the ones that followed.
They were the most important ones. Robb needed to know at that very moment if they had been discovered by their enemies and get on the move again if that was the case as it was something they simply couldn’t afford. They needed to take advantage of the surprise factor every time they could and if the Lannisters knew what he was doing, everything would be useless and he would need to think of something else in order to take them off-guard “ because, as you know the country is at war right now ” he spoke “ and you should be way more careful if it the lastest option ”
And her day just kept getting better, didn’t it? It was not enough that the soldiers just decided to to take her as a prisoner even though she had killed men who were obviously their enemy. But they had taken her weapons...most anyway there was a dagger safely hidden under her clothes and even without it and shackle she wasn’t completely helpless... not that the soldiers knew or they would not have left her alone with their King...
Rhae took a moment to observe the man in front of her. The Stark King apparently if the Wolf banners were any indication... she didn’t remember much of her life before leaving Westeros, but she remembered Starks were wolves. She’d heard it enough at the keep, from her mother, from hushed conversations she heard while chasing Balerion. The king was younger than she’d expected, probably inexperienced as a king but not incompetent. There was an aura about him that radiated strength, hopefully he would be reasonable. If only she could avoid the dangerous questions.
But this was not Rhaenys’ day and to her annoyance he, of course, asked all the questions she didn’t want to answer. One option would be to outright lie and hopefully he would believe her and allow her to leave but if he didn’t, she would definitely get in more trouble. “I’m just a traveler, your grace.” She replied trying to contain her annoyance. “I’ve been away from Westeros since I was but a child and only just returned hoping to see my mother’s family in Dorne.” She continued, opting for the truth as the less she lied, the more consistent her story would be and the chance of being caught in a lie would lessen.  “I was not aware I was near your camp at all. It was my hope to reach a town or village, but found myself in need of setting up camp when it became too dark to continue.” Probably the worst idea she’d had since deciding to return to her homeland. “I awoke to the sound of steel and defended myself from the men your soldiers were chasing which made them decide that the best course of action was to make me your prisoner...” Not that the soldiers had mentioned that to the king for some reason. “So as you can imagine, your grace... it’s been a wonderful day so far.” She gave him an sarcastic smile.
Probably not her best idea, but apparently she was full of bad ideas lately.

Faith gave a sarcastic laugh, “You think you’re the only one that felt out of control around the other?”  She crossed her arms tapping her fingers on her bicep to try and keep from throwing another punch.  “For some bizarre reason I had wanted to let you get to know me.  I had wanted to let you in… and for fuck sake that is completely and utterly not something I would have normally done.”
Moving forward so that she was toe to toe with the blonde, “So while you were trying to keep me at arms length I was trying to find some connection and reason to stay.”  Faith much like with her connection to her brother had been blocking out the bond she had with the other Slayer to little more than allowing the other to sense her.  In fact she had been doing that since the whole Post fiasco even as she was slowly starting to open it back up.  In fact she hadn’t even thought that B even felt the connection and the only reason Faith had known about it was because it had been similar to her bond with her twin only felt different do to the emotions the blonde had brought out.
Faith scoffed, “Right now, B.  I don’t fucking care that you’re sorry.  I couldn’t care less if I tried because yeah you’re a coward.”
With that Faith roughly pushed past the other slayer and bolted for the basement to lock herself down there until Fae and Mrs. S came back.  She knew she was running away from this but at the moment she was too mad and she also didn’t want to wreck Mrs. S’s home by fighting with the blonde.
@arfarfpsycho
Faith’s words felt like sharp knives piercing her heart. Faith had tried to open up, she who didn’t trust many made herself vulnerable for Buffy and the blonde had let her damn issues make her spit on that.  She had ruined any chance she had to be close to the other girl and maybe even Faith willingness to try and let anyone close... She always ruined everything, didn’t she? After years as the slayer she had convinced herself that she had changed... but she was still the same selfish girl she had always been.
After Faith left the room, Buffy stared at the door for several minutes, before she finally mustered the energy to crawl into her bed and cry. All the pain and anger and sadness she had kept inside for so long pouring out of her as she sobbed into her pillow.

He chuckled hearing her comment about being surprised, “I’m just full o’surprises.”  Fae held his arms out at his sides, “So what’s the verdict on the shirt?”  He asked curious even though it wasn’t really to his preference he knew he would probably find himself coming to like the style.
He quirked a brow at the good boy comment but he already knew that the girl before him didn’t actually know.  Turning back into the dressing room, Fae tried on the green dress shirt that had been the other option that Cordelia had given him.
@arfarfpsycho
“I bet.” The girl smirked. Oh yes, he was most definitely her type and she actually found herself excited about something since her father’s money went poof. “The verdict is hot, but I’m sure you knew that already... and since you and your sister seem so attached to leather we can also try some jackets.” She just knew he would look delicious.
Joyce had decided to let the teens have fun and went to look at some clothes for Faith while the two flirted. She chuckled and continue looking for something Faith might actually like.

“Yeah home cooked,”  He grinned looking up as he finished buttoning up the shirt to leaving the top two buttons undone, “And won’t even be Mrs. Summers making it either.”  Fae was amused by what he read as her skepticism of his ability to make food.
He winked at her, “Well I’m not dumb.”
@arfarfpsycho
“That is unexpectedly hot, color me surprised in a very good way.” She said, pleased with him so far. The guy was smooth, much more so than Faith who was too obvious and knew no subtlety... not that the target of her flirting had seemed to get it anyway. Oh well, not that she cared. The hotter twin was going to cook for her and oh boy he had a really nice chest, didn’t he?
“Good boy.”

The blonde stood there taking in all the anger, all the pain pouring out of Faith. “Everything, Faith,.. being around you brings out a part of me I don’t understand... everything is so intense and I...” She trailed off confused and overwhelmed... how could she possibly explain something she didn’t understand. “...I-It’s messy and out of control and too real...” she placed a hand on her chest as if trying to reach for that place inside of her that was connected to the other woman, unsure of how to explain... was she the only one who could feel it? That thought hurt and confused her even more.
“The closer we got the more intense it felt and I-I can’t... if I let it...if I reached out if I wasn’t in control anymore... and followed whatever I was feeling,  I wasn’t... everyone leaves... when I’m not good enough... dad left, friends I had since I was a child dropped me as soon as I became weird, mom made me choose between saving the world or coming back home.... Giles fucking drugged me, and my friends? you’ve seen it... the moment I step out of their ideal I’m given an intervention and judged and looked at as if I have committed a great offense against them... and you... if I let you in and you died like Kendra, it would be so much worse because with you everything is so much more, and I just made it worse and worse and you were hanging and I realized that it hadn’t worked anyway... that keeping you away didn’t work because you weren’t waking up and I felt like someone had gutted me and I was dying too.” She walked closer, crying, not even trying to hide it, she didn’t care if Faith hit her again, she could take it.
“And I’m sorry Faith, I’m so sorry I ruined everything, I’m sorry I didn’t try, I sorry I was a coward, I’m sorry failed you too...”

@arfarfpsycho
Buffy couldn’t deny what the other girl was saying. Not when her actions had spoken for her, even if what she felt was different. She wanted to know more about Faith, she wanted to be around Faith, she wanted to feel whatever primal bond connected them, but the intensity of that want terrified her.  She had spent so long trying to control, to contain the slayer so that it didn’t overwhelm her and being around Faith made it, made her, let go of the retrains… made her lose herself in instincts that didn’t seem very human.
It terrified her that she felt it, it terrified her that a part of her seemed to craved it. It terrified that her friends and even her watcher might not see her the same way if she allowed herself what she wanted.
Sometimes it felt like they were waiting for her to screw up again and get more people killed, or just any reason to let go of her. It was probably in her head but she couldn’t make the fear go away. For all she had faced since becoming a slayer, the monsters she’d mocked and killed… in the end… When the punch came, Buffy wasn’t even a little shocked. Probably should have expected it… “I deserved that I guess… for being a  coward… I didn’t not want to get to know you, to get closer… but it scared me… you scare me.”
@fxd3ddr3xms
Faith scoffed as she stepped back away from the other Slayer.  She was a little frustrated that she threw that punch but damnit it had felt good.  Especially with everything else going on in her head.  She really didn’t need to be picking fights with the other slayer but at the same time she knew that things were going to come to blows and rather sooner than later.  Especially if she didn’t want to let the ghosts of those she failed get too ingrained into her thoughts.
“Scared you?!?”  She snarled as her eyes narrowed on the blonde, “What the fuck scared you about me?  You’re the one with friends, a watcher that gives a damn about you, oh and yeah a mom that worries whether or not you actually survive into the next day or so.  What was so fucking scary about a street urchin from Boston?”  Faith growled, “Did you know both before Di found us and then after she died the only person that ever gave a damn about me was my brother?  My twin who wasn’t more than an hour older than me?  The brother that would take beatings meant for me because he’s constitution of being a Shifter could handle the pain longer than I could.  The brother that fucking learned how to cook at four because he didn’t want either of us to go hungry…”

She truly had the darndest luck.
The Gods were surely laughing at her right now. How many times must she find herself directly in the path of warring factions more than eager to take her as a prisoner before the Gods decided to send a little good luck her way? She would never camp in the woods ever again if this was the result.
After landing in the River lands, if her map was to be trusted, and sending her friendly dragon on his way, Rhaenys had journeyed south on foot until the darkness of night had become too much to continue moving. She had hoped to reach a town or village by now but decided to wait until morning to return to the road.
Yet for the third time in her life she had awoken to chaos and the sound of steel meeting steel getting closer to her... Knowing her luck she had immediately reached for her weapons, just in time for three men clad in gold and red armor to burst from the trees. Perhaps they hoped to take her supplies, perhaps they were simply running for their lives but one of them decided to attack the lone woman in the woods and was quickly disposed of, shocking his companions and prompting them to attack as well.
By the time she managed to cut them down their pursuers had caught up and surrounded her camp, staring wearily at her, the bloody sword in her hand and the dead men lying on the ground.  Rhaenys stared back in awkward silence,  knowing she had been caught in a compromising position. “It’s not what it looks like...”
“Grab her, we’ll take her to the King!” One of the soldiers ordered making Rhae sigh in annoyance. Oh, she better not end up with her head on an executioner’s block... again.

He shrugged, “Never been the biggest fan of fancy.  How about you name a park or beach.  And I surprise ya with a good home cooked meal?”
Fae tilt his head and quirked a brow, “Sounds tragic for those dates but suppose mores the luck fer me then.”  He took the two shirts and headed back into the changing room.
He stepped out in the blue dress shirt as he was working the buttons closed not really caring that he was sort of showing off his bare chest.
@arfarfpsycho
“Home cooked?” She raised an eyebrow. That would be a completely different experience to her after dating so many rich jocks... and Xander.  But most of everything in her life right now was a new experience, wasn’t it? Her parents had made sure...
“Good to know you know your luck...” She trailed off staring a little. Maybe her own luck was changing.

“Shows what you get for trusting the Watchers seeing as I’m sure it was her own watcher that covered her expenses,”  Faith gave a rather dry laugh, “Didn’t ask, fuck Blondie I may not have been open to sharing if it was say an asked question once but ya never showed the slightest interest in actually getting to know me passed training or patrol.  Hell why would I share that I have a twin brother or anything about my life when it never felt like you gave a fucking damn to even try to get to know me.”
She rolled her eyes, “Right because there are landmines and I have walls football field lengths tall and apparently I ain’t worth the effort to try and work past that.”
Faith felt the movement and like a bow string released, she spun around before the hand could make contact and her own fist slammed into Buffy’s cheek, “Don’t touch me.”
