I won’t be making a massive promo, but if you’d like me to follow you there please like this post. I’ll be actively following several people I know will interact/I enjoy following, and I plan to spend some of the next day and change finishing up the changeover. The new blog is (mostly) set up. I’m planning to transfer over the relationships page and link all the muse info docs I’ll be transferring tomorrow, clean it up... And hopefully have it ready by Sunday. I’ll also be taking the time over the next few days to do the URL swap. Update from y’silly-

TL;DR: Planning to move mains when I have the time/make the new main. Several muses are getting axed due to inactivity/lack of interest, and several blogs are also getting axed for similar reasons. Gonna make a new SI art piece soon to use as a ref because I can.

SO! I do plan to re-vamp the entire blog (same URL, new mainverse SI, different blog/new main), as well as give some of my more consistently-active muses (if you can call them that...) their own blogs. I plan to remove certain muses from the roster, while keeping others.- And giving my Lego-centric multi, @not-so-childsplay, its own main blog and several sideblogs (for several of my newer Lego selfships).

Work is thankfully being consistent, and I do love making blogs and whatnot, so while this entire undertaking is probably gonna take me an age, I’ll hopefully be done before Christmas! Aside from that, I’ve finalized the art list for this year, and plan to also start working on that list during/after the blog revamps are all said and done.

For those who want specific muses to remain on my main multimuse after all is said and done, please contact me and let me know who you want to have there! For now, the characters that will ABSOLUTELY be remaining on my roster are:

Herobrine, Bill Cipher, Queen Chrysalis, Mephiles the Dark, Rouge the Bat, Shade the Echidna, Sonic the Hedgehog, Al-An, Luna Lulamoon, Jesse Ender Lapis, Optimus Prime, Freddy Fazbear, Meta Knight, Mettaton, Swindle, Rimuru Tempest, Moondrop, Stora/Steven Universe, Garnet, Bismuth, Miles “Tails/Archi” Prower, Korosensei, Bumblebee (TFA will become a sideverse as opposed to a separate muse), Soundwave, Swindle, and Loki Laufeyson.

I also plan to keep all my OCs, including those I’ve adopted, which includes: Arwen Shonch Duality, Fin Floss Freja, Orange, and Lyle Alchemy Lowstep. Vera Aveline Kabir (the SCP Researcher OC) is not included in this list due to having been moved to her own multi (that I really need to finish, note to self...).

Muses that will be removed when I change over blogs (unless asked otherwise) are:

Calix Lucien, Cloak-Bot, Goblin Slayer, Glu-Urrgle, Johnny 5, Robotic Fizzarolli, Scourge Prime, Stolas, Nikki, Sans, Zhongli, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Spinel, Wall-E, V. I. N., and Toriel.

I will be shelving reincarnated-glassray, of-books-and-librarians, chocoglaze, and moviemobians.

All muses that are being removed (as well as blogs) will still be available on Discord, although I will be cautious about who I interact with concerning them.

When I move blogs, I will be following back anyone who wishes to continue interaction. I’ll make a separate post for that when the time comes, but for now, that’s all I have. Have a good Wednesday, gonna go bounce around art of the new SI and Slime Rancher!

     “Maybe next year, ya can come t’ one o’ the festivals we have.” It was an idea to consider. Most major holidays, that coincided with a change in season, were celebrated in the village the hybrids were from. Volt would happily set them up with a room for the night if that was the case. Something to discuss later, when Harmony wasn’t focused on dragging along Bless towards the tree.

     “Can ya blame me?” Some of that energy from the snowball fight was still running through her, but Volt knew it was only a matter of time before the preteen finally crashed. Either from overexcitement or an adrenaline crash, he was preparing for having to carry her back home by the end of everything.

       For now, she was just grinning from cheek fluff to cheek fluff as they admired her work. The question getting a wag of her tail and a nod of her head. “Uh huh. I like t’ make friendship bracelets and necklaces, so I ordered some special ones online so I could make those fer ya.”

     She was so proud of her work and just how much the couple liked them. Already the preteen was going through in her head of what else she could make for them the next time they shared gifts, but her focus was soon shifting to the gifts being handed to them. Volt had to chuckle as his daughter wasted little time in opening her gifts and looking at the detail on the box and display. 

     He didn’t think her emerald eyes could sparkle any brighter until she opened the second gift and was told exactly what it was, just barely stifling his chuckle as Harmony nearly tackled both of them for a hug each. “Thank Ya so Much! I love ‘em! I’m so gonna be usin’ the camera everytime we go anywhere. And I’ll send ya copies too so ya can see where we been!”

     If allowed to, she’d continue to snuggle them both, but her attention went to her father as he opened his gifts. Watching his features soften brought a smile to her own face as she released Bless to get a better look at the gifts. 

     “I think I have the perfect spot for this at home.” His organic fingers gently felt the surface and he looked back to them with a smile. Unlike his daughter, Volt only closed the space and gave a gentle kiss to a cheek with a whispered thanks. Some traditions were ones he had picked up and forget they weren’t common, but hopefully the couple didn’t mind them. He carefully placed them next to him so that he could secure the necklace with a light wag of his tail.  “Thank you both. For the gifts and inviting us.”

     “Yeh. This was epic. We gotta do this again sometime, oki? ‘S fun t’ hang out with ya both!” Harmony added and held her gifts close to her chest. Safe to say she wouldn’t be loosing them anytime soon. 

     “Happy Holidays Bless, Node.”

“Sounds like fun, so... Here’s to hopin’!” A festival in the others’ town.... Admittedly, it sounded a bit more people-centric than Node would be able to handle for long, but they would still get a kick out of winding through the village with them all, all the same.

“Only as much as I can blame myself.” Bless chuckled at the kid’s enthusiasm. Several holidays had passed during his world’s rebuilding, with many more on the way- so the holidays were a trite less energetic for him than they had been in his youth... Although he wouldn’t lie about finding it fun to be infected with the sort of enthusiasm he’d had when he was a bit smaller, a bit more positive in his ways (not that anything could ever destroy his sunshine of a disposition, or so he’d like to think).

The gifts they’d received were nearly enough for Bless to go on his own hugging spree, but Harmony beat him to it- tackling him and Node in turn with hugs that nearly knocked each off their feet (with Node actually having to perform a light teleport to keep from falling over). He returned the hug full-heartedly, encasing the other in part in his own fur before letting her go with a chuckle.

“Well, I’ll do my best to keep this in mint condition!” And that was a promise.- Bless wouldn’t be losing that trinket any time soon.

Node had been far more reserved, but still returned the hug with a soft smile- their movements a fraction more wooden than the werehog’s had been, although that was to be expected from them.

“Y’better.” Node chuckled quietly at the other’s joy. “If you ever need it repaired, just let me know and I’ll get Tails t’take a look at it.... Can’t wait to see where y’travel, Harms.” They were grateful the pair at least seemed to enjoy both gifts in turn- the carved objects and the camera/drawing. It had felt a hint cheap on their part, but- the others had also done DIY gifts, and those... Felt priceless, so they could only assume the feeling was mutual.

“Phew!” Bless gently waved a hand across his forehead, as if he’d been nervous- which he hadn’t, but humor was always nice, especially on the holidays! He assumed- as the hybrid gave each a peck on the cheek alongside a thanks- that it was some tradition from the other’s village. After enough world-traveling... He’d gotten used to the unexpected. For the most part. Some things... Some things could still knock him on his butt. “No problem!”

Inviting the two had taken a bit of time, but it was by far worth it in the end- from the two meeting some of the others across the multiverse to the snowball fight, and now seeing the two hybrids each happy as could be... It made the whole night worth it, to both werehog and fox.

While it had brought a faint burn to their face, they’d also assumed it was little more than tradition- they knew it was more common in some countries than others.

“Well, I can’t speak for the entire Writerverse Christmas Party, but... Yeah, it’d be nice to hang out again sometime.” They cast a glance around, the crowd slowly thinning as the night itself began to come to a close. “.....somewhere less crowded next go, though.” They hummed. The portal to the multiverse had been re-opened for some time outside, which meant the four could leave when they wished... But a part of them had hoped the night would last forever. It was so rare for everyone to be in such light spirits...

“Happy Holidays, guys.” The two had spoken in tandem, glancing to each other for a second before laughing.- The laughter was quickly ended, but neither could resist a few moments.

“Let me know if you wanna come back next year... Or if y’won’t mind Bless n’ I checking out the village during its festivities.” Node murmured, an ear twitching. “....danke for the gifts, by the way.... Gonna be usin’ the blanket real soon.” That night. Absolutely, utterly that night.

“--whaddya say we all head on home?” Bless offered, smashing the hint of hesitancy in his mind on the spot. “...I don’t know about you all, but that snowball fight took a lot out of me....” And out of all the competitors.... Inevitably, eventually, the two mobians would have to lead their companions to the swirling vortex that was the portal, one way or another... But the memories of this night would be sticking around for quite some time.

I need to go to sleep (oh stars I forget how big my fucking icons are here-) but I am considering moving to a new main. Not getting rid of the URL, mind you- just... Archiving this blog and starting fresh, since this blog is incredibly cluttered and followed by (and following) a ton of inactive accounts, as well as having over 3k likes that I really don’t want to try to sort through.

If I do move mains, I’ll probably remove several of the FOs from the list due to them being untouched/inactive for an extended period of time. Might just take the opportunity to sort my FOs by general fandom/genre. We’ll see. It’d be... A lot of cleanup. Also a fresh tagging system and the like, because man that’d be nice...

Anyway, should probably go sleep, so goodnight.- I’ve been mostly on my LMK main the past week or so (Lego brainrot still going hard and it’s been several months someone save me).

Eyes returning to the outside of the castle, the large fields, of course the scars of that day are a reminder, and something that she doesn’t feel happy for, she got separated from her home, from her planet and living in a new one. How one single moment because she couldn’t run away changed her whole life. 

Of course she still have questions, like was her family missing her? Or they gave her for dead? If so it would be better the second honestly, as she has no way to return to her real home… but the kindness of the people made her have a new home in this village. Even under the rules of Dedede… She still has to get used to that. But she is getting there.

                    “You can say that… Still getting used to this It is a huge change for me. From being free to being here. Don’t get me wrong… I-I am grateful with all of you. But I miss my home. But I guess is just question of time, right?”

Said her as she rests her chin on her hand, her violet eyes never leaving the fields of the castle. It was a miracle that she was even living in the castle, but she was as important as a Waddle dee. So she was always at the mercy of the King.

Such was the way this universe worked... That many were eternally separated from their loved ones, from their homes- the lives they lived before. Be it through bloodshed or choice, no one emerged the same. Meta Knight loathed this fact of his reality, a long-whispered promise still echoing near the back of his mind. Peace was what he fought for- every time something new arose to shake what little he’d made, he would rise against it in turn.

His new friend was very much evidence of this promise, of this oath.

“I am sure you will see them again.” The battleship Halberd was nearing its final stages... Soon, there would be a time to traverse the universe- to go unto the stars and face the greatest evil he’d yet to fight... The creator of every dark and vile thing ‘his king’ had ordered. “...what was your home like?” His voice had grown softer, trying not to harm with the question. For some, such an inquiry could send them into a tailspin- but he hoped it wouldn’t be the case for his fishy friend.

While reminiscing was... Painful, it was still better to let the feeling flow than to stock it all in one’s mind. He just hoped that the other had a home she could return to, once this was all over. Even if she was at the mercy of King DeDeDe’s whims- prideful and stupid as the king was- Meta Knight would always be ready to lend her his sword. After all, he had never become an official ‘knight of DeDeDe’, so he was not bound by any length of honor to the penguin.

“....did you have rolling fields, like Dreamland?” He had noticed her watching the green grass as it waved and flicked in the ocean breeze, the glittering emerald of an untouched gem... Surprising, given the king’s desire to have everything nice for himself.- Although he never bothered to see the beauty in the simple.

this is a reminder that i literally do not care if you reply in five minutes, five months, five years.  still owe me something and want to start something new? go for it.  still owe me something and want to answer memes or send memes instead? go for it.  just not jiving with it and want to do something with a different character? go for it.  need to disappear into the wilderness and scream at the sky for a few years? no problem.  you take any and all the time you need.  this is a hobby, it is for fun, it should not ever cause you stress.  you do what you want to do when you want to do it.  i will never be mad bc you drop something or it takes a year for you to answer it.  this is a collaborative hobby that we do for enjoyment and if it isn’t fun, if it isn’t sparking joy, do something else. you take care of you.
