I am looking to expand my brand, through all social media. The point of this is to expand my creativity and love for the sport of baseball and specifically the Cubs. Through 3 years I’ve grown on the YouTube platform and I am looking to keep growing.

“I would definitely fight against it,” Rizzo said Tuesday in the media room based on the corona virus outbreak. “Just because we play for the fans. We’re employed because of fans and everything they bring for us and the energy.
“(Games) would still be aired and we’d be able to put on a show for those watching TV. The experience that fans bring for us in a game, especially at Wrigley Field, is an advantage. But if it comes down to it and that’s what we have to do, that’s what we’ll have to do.”

This is how you market baseball. Using technology to give the fans a glimpse of the things they can’t but want to hear. I am not saying to always do this but every now and then would be great for viewership. I can almost guarantee you, people will talk more about baseball. ⚾️

According to reports, Ben Zobrist is officially retired from baseball. If reports are correct, what an amazing career Zo had. Winning a World Series w/ the Royals and the Cubs along w/ the 2016 World Series MVP. ✊

There are 22 days left until Opening Day for the Chicago Cubs and one can wonder where will this season take them. After a disappointing year in 2019 (84-78) and missing the playoffs for the first time since the Joe Maddon ERA began, the Cubs are in a tight spot between rebuilding again and a good impact trade that can take them to the top again. PECOTA has the Cubs finishing second in the NL race behind the Cincinnati Reds by 1 game. There’s no doubt the NL Central is getting better and better and every game for the Cubs in 2020 is “Opening Day”.

This past week, two members of the 2016 World Series Cubs stopped by at the Cubs’ facilities in Arizona as guest/instructors for Spring Training 2020. Although Lackey (left) is retired, and Zobrist (right) has not shown interest in playing 2020, both still look in good shape to play a couple more seasons. Both Lackey and Zobrist can be a great addition as instructors. Both know a lot of the current players personally and could potentially be huge help for motivation and baseball tips.
