Hi!!!

This'll be a quick overview of how to get into HC, because it's a lot. If you have any questions outside of this, you can dm or send an ask my way!

Okay, so first things first, do not try to watch every single season of Hermitcraft. It is perfectly okay to start with any season, since they are all independent of each other. There may be a few jokes that you may not get, but that's okay. We're on season 10 currently!

Secondly, don't try to watch every single hermit at once. There are almost thirty hermits on this server, you will not be able to watch every single one every week. I tried doing that and I got really burnt out. I suggest picking a select few (2-3 to start out with) and watching Hermitcraft Recap to get an idea of what's happening large scale.

Hermitcraft Recap is an unofficial recap, but the hermits are very much aware of their existence, and they're practically honorary hermits at this point. They recap what's happening on the Hermitcraft server each week, mainly uploading on Sunday (though it may differ depending on the time zone).

As to which hermit you should watch, that depends entirely on you! There's a really good post made at the start of season 10 that goes over all of the hermits, but I suggest you watch around to see what you like! If you'd like, if you're starting out, you can spin a wheel each week and watch that hermit to see if you like them. Personally, (with the exception of Grian because I need some form of consistency), I watch 3 different hermits every week (+ Grian) decided by a wheel to spice things up. You don't have to do this, but it's good when you're starting out. That, or it's likely that you know of one of the hermits already, and I definitely recommend starting with people you already know and then branching out.

Even if it's only the start of the season, and it feels overwhelming to start watching from the beginning episodes (I get it), you can either watch all the episodes of Hermitcraft Recap that are up to date, or simply just start by watching your hermit of choice's latest episode. It shouldn't be too hard to get into any particular perspective, I hope.
