Dashi's basically a god and Dojo's famously a chicken, but their dynamic was that the cowardly Dojo was always vigilant and protective of the powerful Dashi...? 🥺 Brothers.

Dashi was always insistent that he was just human, no matter how many people insisted that he couldn’t be. After all, what kind of human had that raw power to them? He had to, at the very least, be a reincarnation of someone important!

But if he was, well, Dashi didn’t care and didn’t want to know. If nothing else it pushed him to finally break out of the cycle of death and rebirth. He was human. He would die. He had no interest in power. In immortality. He told people as much constantly. Including Dojo.

So Dojo had to care for him. Someone had to care enough about Dashi to keep him out of trouble! And while he might not be the best fighter or the bravest, he could and would be a mother hen if he had to! Dashi might insist on being mortal and not pushing for more but Dojo wasn’t going to just let him go before his time! Not if he could help it!
