Honestly I’d love to know how you create those beautiful small Lolita headbands you make for your dolls. Are they simple to do? you make them look so detailed. 🌸

no problem!!💓💗💗

yeah it's not too difficult! i'll add some photos

cut the fabric with the length/size depending on what doll it's for, fold it over then sew in the center (wrap it around the middle a few times to shape it better)

for the lace i sew two pieces of the end together for the middle since the bows tiny but depending on the design you can just use one

cut a piece for the center then fold it to the back and sew it together then it's finished! (i sew the thread through the back of bow to tie it around the dolls hair as well)

Hiya! The lolita coordinate you made for Draculaura is so cute! I'd say the dress is more old school inspired sweet than old school gothic because of the construction and details of the bodice with it's high waisted silhouette, short puff sleeves, and the yoke with large (at doll scale) ruffle and decorative corset lacing and bows. It actually reminds me of a gingham OP Diamond Honey made a few years back. The gloves and shoes are def gothic though and I do love the look, just wanted to infodump a little! Feel free to disregard if this comes off as rude

I adore all your doll customisations, do you have any tips on where to start making doll clothes?

thank u!! start by figuring out which outfit first and having references to copy the sewing pattern (i always start with the top piece as a base by cutting the arm holes then shaping the front before cutting and re sewing the back to fit the doll once finished)
