Had a busy two weeks filled to the brim with lab assignments (and I now have to write 4 reports till saturday :') ). This week felt like finally waking up for the first time this semester; that is, actually having the will and energy to do more than the baseline needed for survival at college (mostly because of the horrible schedule we have due to earthquake repairs on campus).

The pics are some aesthetic shots from my pharmaceutical chem lab and the daffodil pen my mom got me (it really made me smile because its my favorite flower and i love lil weird trinkets like it).

That being said, I finally started studying biochem, and it's actually kind of interesanting, however much I'm dreading having to memorise all the mechanisms.

The last couple of days has also been the first time in months i felt like doing my regular hobbies; got out of artblock thanks to Hades 2 news (i cant wait!!!), started reading Pride and Prejudice (because I've never actually read it) and got back into watching comfort shows (new season of Heartbreak High).

So yeah, had a nice but exhausting couple of days. :)

'kids these days are weirdly scrupulous for no reason'. WRONG not for no reason. grew up on increasingly de-anonymized internet, being available to everyone all the time, data tracked, google sees all, digital panopticon, etc. less and less space to explore and form own opinions without judgment from broad public audience. lack of privacy can be deeply traumatic and cause intense paranoia, obsession with thought crimes, morality, etc. not good.

I love the new Hades 2 family portrait as much as the next person but Hades is too damn small. Looks too normal sized. Needs to look like the Kingpin family portrait from Into The Spiderverse

I've been very busy these last couple of weeks, with nothing special to report, mostly surviving and falling a couple of midterms. I've decided to call it a break from this challange due to how exhausted i felt (thats why im still on day 4).

So, for now, have some pictures of some aparatus and my doodles on our college laboratory whiteboard (because the practicums last 5 hours a day and there's a lot of killtime while some macguffin is in the centrifuge or something). Can you tell how tired i am while writing this? In any case, i will try to be more consistent.

(Also side note, but I met like the sweetest little friendgroup the other day and proceeded to get horribly drunk with them, but it really just warmed my heart how much they cared for each other, its nice to see)
