The fact that Ian says "you used to love me" when he's breaking up with mickey will not leave my mind. Like it could be so many things. Did he listen to the voice mail?? Did mickey say it before to him and we just didn't see ??

Did Ian know so mickey so well that he didn't need to hear mickey say "i love you"?!?!?

"You used to love me" and he's thinking about when mickey said "what you and I have makes me free"

The break up is the first time we see mickey say I love you to Ian in person BUT IAN KNEW MICKEY LOVED HIM.

I'd love to read a fic with this premise but Fiona fairly assumes that Mickey is straight and that Ian has a one-sided crush on him.

And she's big-sister concerned he's going to get hurt but understands the appeal of the unreachable bad boy and figures it's harmless because he's never going to actually say anything to Mickey because Mickey is so obviously not gay (and of course his family is famously homophobic) and anyway she's relieved he's developing an interest in guys his own age.

why did fiona just not bat an eye at mickey coming into the house saying ‘ian here?’ and going straight upstairs when she knew NOTHING about them except Mickey being the neighbourhood thug, mickey wanting to beat ian up, mickey successfully beating lip up and being his coworker???????
