My little rose, part 4

"You are meant to be the love of my next life."
Pairing | Aemond and Aegon x reader Wordcount | 4.4k Warnings | Medieval misogyny, some angst Previous chapters | Part 1, part 2, part 3 Note: I actually had written a chapter of 8k words but I couldn't post it in one go, as I kept getting 'we’re sorry. there was an error processing your post.' The next chapter will be up later this week lmao.
"Your so-called family only sees you as a tool to be used." You felt like you were being enveloped by the intensity of his gaze, and his breath felt like it was sweeping over your skin. "And their so called allies would never accept you, would never consider you as anything more than an object to be used and discarded when a purpose is no longer needed." You couldn't help but feel your breath catch in your throat as he managed to strike a nerve with his words. The intensity of his words struck a powerful chord inside you, and you felt your body trembling as a rush of emotion swept through you. You felt like all your previous fears and worries had been confirmed as the truth, and you felt completely powerless to resist him. His words were like a piercing arrow striking a vulnerable spot in your heart, filling you with a profound sense of sadness and helplessness. The feeling of being enclosed in his strong grip made you feel a strange mixture of fear and his presence was so intimidating and powerful, but somehow you still found his touch to be tender and soothing. "That's not true..."
Your words sounded so naive and innocent to him, and he couldn't help but feel the urge to grin a little bit. He thought to himself: "How could she be so naive?" He still wasn't completely sure if you were telling the truth or not, but your words were almost too innocent to resist. When you said this isn't true, the desire to keep protecting you and taking care of you only got stronger. "My family, my father... He loves me." He felt the urge to laugh in disbelief, but he resisted it and kept his stoic face. What kind of father would let his daughter be sent off on a delicate diplomatic mission all by herself without any protection or guidance? Yes, your father may love you, but he should still have a responsibility to protect you. "He should have kept you home, or sent some protection with you to ensure your safety. But he didn't. He did nothing but send you off by yourself, with no one to look after you. Do you really think he loves you, truly?" His words struck a chord in your heart, especially given how he said it so emphatically. It made you feel a bit sad and helpless, but you couldn't really defend your father.
As he kept studying you, he noticed that your body language began to relax a little bit, and your body even started to lean forward towards him. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help but feel the slightest sense of satisfaction to see you beginning to trust him. His expression remained stoic, but there was a hint of a playful smirk in his eyes. You noticed the playful smile in his eyes, and you couldn't help but feel like a small bird basking in the warmth of the sun. His body was almost like a magnetic force, drawing you towards him in a way that was both intense and captivating. The thought of being held in his arms was almost like a sweet and tender dream, and you couldn't help but feel an intense desire to be held tightly in his arms. Your whole body leaned toward him, as if it was naturally gravitating towards him. His body was so close to yours, and you wanted to be even closer to him. A rush of warmth sweeping through your body as you felt his arms enclosing you. The heat of his body was like a fire, and you felt a sudden and overwhelming sense of comfort and safety being engulfed in his embrace. Aemond kept his arms wrapped tightly around you, his fingers slowly caressing your back. His voice was soft and tender, and it was like a lullaby that was soothing and calming. He spoke so softly in a tone that was almost like a whisper, and it was as if his words were caressing you like the brush of a gentle breeze.
"Let's get you to bed, my little rose." Aemond's voice was so gentle and soothing, and his words had a sudden and overwhelming effect on you. "Will you stay with me?" He gave you a small nod as an answer, and your whole body felt a sudden wave of relief at his words. The feeling of being reassured and protected by him made your heart beat faster, and you felt yourself wanting to be as close to him as possible. Aemond lifted you off the ground and carried you in his arms, and the feeling of being picked up and carried so lovingly and gently made you feel so light as a feather. Like a small delicate rose being carried around in the arms of a warrior. He laid you down on the bed gently and carefully, making sure that you are comfortable. He looked at you with a tender look in his eye. His face was so close to you now, and your body felt like it was in awe. You couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and desire. Your heart beat faster as you looked into his eyes and your skin felt like it was on fire. "Aemond..." You spoke in a small voice, but he heard you clearly. As he heard you call out his name, he couldn't help but feel a wave of desire sweeping through his body. The thought of you needing him and calling out his name was like a magnet pulling at him. Your voice was so soft and sweet, and the way you called out his name was like a song from a small bird singing out in the night. He loved hearing your voice, and the sound of it made his entire body tremble with desire and longing.
Aemond leaned closer to you, and his breath brushed against your skin as he leaned in for a kiss. Your skin felt so soft and delicate against his as he kissed you. His kiss was so tender yet passionate, and as you felt his lips press against yours you could feel the whole world melting away. The feeling of being kissed by him was like a wave of sensations flooding over your whole body, and it made your whole body tremble with desire and longing. As the kiss continued, his lips pressed harder and harder against yours, and your body felt like it was melting away into oblivion. His grip around you got tighter, his fingers almost digging into your back. He didn't seem to care about leaving any bruises on you, as if he wanted you to remember his touch and his presence.
Aemond let out a small sigh as he broke the kiss, and you noticed his face looking a bit flushed and breathless. His eyes were full of desire and passion, and it made your heart skip a beat. He gave you a gentle kiss on your forehead, this sudden act of kindness and gentleness from him was so unexpected and it made your heart flutter. After the passionate kisses you shared you didn’t expect this gentle act. You wanted to hug him more, but he abruptly left the room without notice, leaving you alone. His sudden absence left you feeling completely stunned and confused. You couldn't understand why he just left you like that. He swept you off your feet, only to abruptly leave you hanging there without warning. Your heart started beating faster from the shock and confusion, and you felt like your whole world had just been ripped away from you once more.
Sadness and loneliness were lingering in the room, the events of today lingering like an echo of a distant memory. Your eyes closed instinctively as you began to replay everything that has happened today. It was like a movie playing in front of your eyes, a scene you want to relive and scenes you rather skip altogether. As you were lost in your thoughts, the sound of yelling and loud voices suddenly broke your focus. That's when you heard loud voices coming from the hallway. You couldn't make out what they were saying, but it sounded like a heated argument was occurring. You got up and tiptoed out of the room, making sure to be as quiet as possible as you made your way over to chamber. Once you reached the door, you could hear Aegon’s voice. His voice was filled with anger and frustration, and you could feel the intensity of his emotions even from behind the closed door. You couldn't make out what he was saying, but you could tell that he was extremely angry at someone.
You put your ear to the door, trying to listen in on whatever Aegon was saying. His voice was loud and angry, and you could hear him yelling at the top of this lungs, though you couldn't make out exactly what he was saying. However, you had a feeling that whatever he was saying was aimed towards you. You kept listening in, trying to make out whatever was being said. You were able to make out a few bits and pieces of what Aegon was saying, but not much. It was hard to understand because his voice kept getting louder and louder, and the more angry he got, the more he would yell. But you could make out part of what he was saying. You heard Aegon yell, "I don't care Aemond! You're going to Storm's End!" But you couldn't hear the rest of his sentence and you couldn't hear any response from Aemond himself. As you processed what Aegon had said, you realized that Luke was at Storm's End. The exact same place Aegon was sending Aemond to. It was like a sudden flash of clarity, as you instantly connected the dots between everything that has been happening. Dread was filling your body as you realized Luke might be in danger. You couldn't let that happen. You know that Aemond has little love for Luke, you’ve been told the stories about he lost his eye. He claimed Vhagar on the funeral of Lady Laena, and the aftermath…. Well, you doubt that Aemond ever mentally fully recovered. A sudden urge of courage fills your body as you knew what you had to do. You had to get to Storm’s End before Aemond - The courage inside you quickly eroded by the overwhelming realization that there was no way you could get to Storm's End before him. You’re Aegon’s prisoner now, and you knew that he would never let you go.
You were desperate to do something, and so you knocked loudly on the door. But as you heard Aegon's voice continue to yell and rage from behind the door, you didn't have much hope. Angry footsteps were coming towards the door, and fear was washing over you. Your heart rate accelerated and your body was filled with a mix of emotions as Aegon's presence approached the door. He suddenly opened the door, and you found yourself staring into his face. It was filled with anger and frustration, and you could see the veins in the sides of his neck pulsating with rage. When he saw you, his eyes narrowed and he looked at you with a fury and disdain that made you feel like a mere insect in his presence. You wanted to say something to explain why you were there, but your voice caught in your throat. Aegon's eyes seemed like they were drilling into your soul, and you felt like a helpless child. "What is it?" Aegon spoke in a deep, menacing voice, and the sound of it filled your whole body with a sense of fear and inferiority. It was like your whole body was shaking in his presence, and even your voice seemed to quiver. You were so scared of him that it was hard to even get the words out.
You struggled to find the courage to say anything, but you managed to squeeze out the words, "I-I wanted to ask you for something." His eyes narrowed as he heard you speak. The anger was still visible in his gaze, but he seemed slightly more curious now. He wondered what you could possibly want from him, since he could not imagine any request that he would be willing to grant you. His eyes were filled with a mixture of tension and suspicion, and he waited for you to go on. You tried to think of something that you could say to persuade Aegon to let you go, for the sake of getting to Storm's End to save Luke. But your mind was filled with a frantic mix of fear and anxiety, and it was hard to think straight. You knew that anything you said could be taken the wrong way, and you didn't want to anger Aegon further by making the wrong request. "C-can we go on a walk..." You started to speak, but your voice was still so shaky and nervous. Your body could not stop trembling as you tried to speak. It seemed to catch Aegon off guard, and he looked at you with a mixture of shock and surprise. It was obvious that your request was something he was not expecting, but still he took a moment to consider the request before speaking. Finally, Aegon finally spoke, "A walk? So you are telling me that at this time of night, you want to go for a walk with me? What reason would I have to say yes to such a request?" You struggled to find a reason that would be plausible enough to persuade Aegon, because he did sound like he was about to turn you down. "S-so we could be alone for a while." Aegon remained silent for a moment as he thought about it. It sounded like a silly reason to go for a walk, but there was something about the way you said it that piqued his interest. Your voice was so timid and fearful that it almost sounded... cute? "Alright. I'll go for a walk with you. But don't expect me to be in a good mood. I'm not in the mood for a conversation."
You followed Aegon and the two of you started walking without saying a word. Aegon's attitude remained chilly and unapproachable, and you couldn't help but feel like you were walking on eggshells. But you didn't have time to feel nervous and anxious, because you needed to find a way to talk to him. You needed to make a connection, to get him to open up and listen to you. "Why are you sending Aemond to Storm's End?" Aegon remained silent for a moment, staring ahead as he walked. He seemed to be debating whether he should answer your question or not. Finally, he broke the silence and said, "Aemond is my brother, and my family is my business. I'll send him wherever I want to." You felt yourself wanting to say more, but you knew that any pushback from you could provoke Aegon even more. So you decided to approach the topic from a different angle, hoping to try to get under the surface level of his reasoning. "I know he is your brother, and it is your right to send him anywhere you want, but couldn't there be another reason why you want to send him to Storm's End?" "He will convince Lord Borros to support me, he'll promise to marry one of his daughters."
"Luke was also sent Storm’s End... For Rhaenyra... Don't let Aemond go there please." Aegon remained silent for a moment at this sudden twist. You could feel the tension in the air rise as his words will hit you like a punch to the gut. After a moment of silence, Aegon finally spoke. "Why would I care what happens to Rhaenyra's spawn? Luke is a bastard, just like all of her children." "Please Aegon..." "No, you're staying with me." Your heart sank at Aegon's denial. You were determined to not let this happen, but there wasn't much you could do at the moment. You were still Aegon's prisoner, and you had no way of escaping or convincing him to let you go. Aegon held firm in his stance, and your eyes filled with tears as you realized you couldn't do anything. No matter how much you begged and pleaded, he was adamant that you would not be going anywhere. "You will stay with me," he repeated, as his expression didn't soften at all. "I don't understand why you're so cold, he is your family too..." His face tightened, he was clearly unamused, "The Strong boys might be related to me by blood," he spat, "but they are bastards all the same. They are not my family." The way that Aegon spoke about Luke and Jace with such disdain and contempt was like a knife to your heart. You had known that he didn't think much of them, but it still hurt to hear those words coming out of his own mouth. You could not understand how he could be so dismissive of his own flesh and blood. You remained silent for a moment as you tried to figure out what to say next. Finally, you decided to take another approach. "Even if they are bastards, they are still living, breathing human beings. They don't deserve to be sent into danger and possibly be killed. Don't you have any empathy for Luke as a human being?" "Aren't you a bastard as well, love? Is that why you're so fond of them? Does that explain the soft spot for bastards?" You were shocked by Aegon’s sudden outburst. It was like a shot across the bow, and it took you off guard. You had never heard him speak this bluntly to you before. "My situation is different from Luke’s," you spat. "Yes I am a bastard, I never denied it." You looked directly at Aegon, trying to keep up the strength and confidence you had just mustered. You were determined to not let his words get to you, because you knew he was just using it as ammunition against you. You wouldn't let him win.
"Being a bastard wasn't my choice, but it's who I am, and I'm not ashamed of it. What’s your excuse for being a pathetic human being, Aegon?” Aegon's face remained impassive, and his eyes narrowed as you spat back at him. He seemed to be taken aback by your outburst, though his expression did not change at all. He looked at you with his cold, ruthless gaze, and his eyes bored into you. Finally, he spoke in a calm but menacing tone. "My excuse for being a pathetic human being?" He laughed and shook his head as he continued speaking "Well, I am thé king of Westeros, so I have a pretty damn good excuse. And I'm also not the one who's crying like a little girl, begging me to let a bastard stay safe. In fact, if I were you, I'd start worrying about my own well-being, because I don't find your attitude very endearing."
You had reached your breaking point, and you didn't care what the consequences might be. So you just reacted, and slapped Aegon across the face. He was so stunned by your slap that he took a moment to recover. His face turned red, but the look on his face was not anger or surprise, but rather a mixture of shock and amusement. It was like he couldn't believe that you could actually strike him, and he had some level of respect for you in that moment. But his expression quickly returned to its normal cold and ruthless look, as he took a deep breath and then spoke. "You're quite daring, you know that?" His tone didn't change at all, but you could see a faint glimmer of admiration in his eyes as he looked at you in silence. It was like he was saying, "I'm not shocked that you struck me, but I am surprised at your defiance." "I'm not afraid of you," You said it with a mixture of defiance and boldness, even though you felt like your body was trembling out of control inside. You tried to not to let your fear get in the way. "Good," He paused for a moment, looking at you with a mixture of amusement and disdain. His eyes were cold as ice, and they didn't show even a hint of fear or anger. He looked at you as if he was looking down on you, as if him being a king made him immune to a little slap. "It's good that you're not afraid of me," He continued, "It makes it easier for me to take what I want from you." "And what it is exactly you want from me?"
Aegon looked at you with a calculating smile, as if he was seeing how far he could push you to go. "You should already know that," He said, his voice dripping with arrogance and venom "But if you need me to make it obvious, then I want your body." You were taken aback by his sudden directness. You weren't sure if you were just being naive, but you couldn't believe that he would say such a thing to you. You tried to keep your composure and ignore the overwhelming disgust and anger boiling inside you. Aegon was amused at your reaction, as he laughed out loud. “Are you just going to pout like a child, sweetheart? Or are you actually going to put up a fight?” Your feelings continued to mount as he spoke, and you couldn't hold back your anger any longer. You didn't care if he saw you as a pouty child at this point, because it was time for you to stand up for yourself. You gritted your teeth and spoke defiantly, "Yes, I'm angry. You should not just see me as a plaything for your pleasure. I have no intention of letting you touch my body." He continued to laugh harshly, as he seemed unfazed by your display of defiance. It was like he didn't take you seriously at all. He finally stopped laughing and looked at you with that same cold stare, as if he was looking right through you. He slowly walked towards you, getting so close that you could feel his breath on your face. "No intention, you say?" His voice was like ice as he stepped closer to you. You felt his breath on your skin, and it caused you to shiver and cringe. He was so close that you could feel the warmth of his body. He spoke again, and his voice was still dripping with arrogance and contempt as he continued to look straight at you. "So let me try to break your intention." He leaned against you and his voice suddenly became very soft and intimate as he leaned his mouth dangerously close to your ear. His voice was low and sensual, and it sent a shiver down your spine as his warmth surrounded you. "You will sleep in my chamber from now on."
You wanted to move away from him. You wanted to pull yourself out of his grip and run away as fast as possible. But you knew that he wouldn't let you get away that easily. So you remained still, even as his breath was making you shiver. You knew that this had become a battle of wills, and you couldn't let him think that he could break you. Still leaning against you, he spoke again, "The whole castle and it's staff is aware of how we are going to be spending our nights. So you can either resist me and make things difficult for yourself, or you can accept this situation and make it easier for us. The choice is yours, darling." His voice was still soft and sensual, but there was now a slight edge of threat to his tone. He moved away from your ear and stood in front of you again. But as he did so, you noticed his hands casually placed on your body. He kept his hands there without moving them away, as he continued to speak. "I'm looking forward to spending more time with you, darling." You hated how it felt when he called you "darling," because it almost felt genuine. Even if you knew his intentions were far from noble, it almost made you blush.
He seemed to notice your reaction to his calling you "darling," and he smirked for a moment before he continued speaking. "If you continue to be stubborn, then you will find that I won't be so patient in the future. I will take what I want, and you can't stop me." "I'll sleep in your bed but you will not touch me. Do I make myself clear? I don't care if you're the king." Aegon chuckled at your boldness. It was like hearing a mouse tell a lion that she had no intention of being eaten by him. Your words were clearly empty threats, considering how he had you captured in a corner. But he was amused by the situation nonetheless. He was clearly not bothered at all by your bravado. "Sure thing, sweetling."
He finally removed his hands from your body, and took a few steps back. His voice suddenly regained its arrogance and contempt, as he smirked at your attempt to be brave but was obviously not buying it. "Good," he continued, "then I expect to see you in my bed. Until then," He gave you one last smirk and turned to walk away, his confidence and arrogance still evident. You couldn't help but feel defeated by the whole situation. You knew that he would be expecting you in his bed tonight, and you knew that it was pointless to resist. You couldn't help but feel a sense of despair as he walked away. "You disgust me." You whispered that to yourself out of a sheer sense of frustration and anger. But Aegon seemed to hear you, as he had stopped walking and turned around to look at you with an icy stare. He seemed surprised by your directness, as he looked at you with an expression of disdain and contempt. He finally spoke after a few moments of silence. "Disgust me all you want," He replied in that same cold, ruthless tone "But you will love me eventually." With that, he gave you a smug grin and walked away once again.

My little rose, part 3
Tumblr media
"You are meant to be the love of my next life."
Pairing | Aemond and Aegon x reader Wordcount | 4.2k Warnings | Medieval misogyny, Aegon isn't the nicest Previous chapters | Part 1, part 2
You make your way to Dragonstone, landing on the stone steps of the castle. Your family isn't there yet. It's quiet as you approach alone. You feel like you're walking into an empty castle, with nothing but your own footsteps echoing in the vast halls. The air is still and you feel like you're walking through a desert of stone and silence. You find it oddly peaceful and tranquil in a way, despite the solitude. The change in environment was refreshing and cleansing, after the tense atmosphere that you've just exited. You feel like a weight has been lifted off of your shoulders, a sense of calm and contentment wash over you as you look around at the vast halls and empty rooms.
You find yourself wandering through the gardens, your attention being drawn to the roses as the vivid colors and sweet smells fill the air. You feel your heart skip a beat as you take in the sight of the lush foliage and vibrant petals, and you can't help but feel a jolt of nostalgia. These were the roses that you've always loved, the ones that used to bring you joy and peace when you were a child. Bittersweetness washes over you as you remember those years growing up in solitude, with only Silverwing and the roses for company. You feel like the roses were like your faithful companions, always there to bring you comfort and joy during those times when you felt lonely and isolated. The  roses remind you of those comforting moments of companionship and the bittersweetness you feel is a reflection of the mixture of feelings that those times brought to you. You feel a bit of anger and resentment towards your father for keeping you hidden away from the world for years. You feel like he robbed you of a proper childhood, leaving you alone and isolated with no real friends in your life, he deprived you of so much, he was selfish and callous in his treatment of you. Although you made peace with it, you haven't forgotten it either. You've learned to accept and come to terms with your past, but you haven't let go of the bitterness and resentment that you feel towards Daemon for what he did to you. You've learnt to live with this injustice, but the anger and hurt still remains deep inside your heart.
You've been so deep in thought that you haven't realized someone else has joined you in the gardens. You're startled by Rhaena's sudden appearance and you feel a surge of relief as you realize it was her. "Where have you been? We almost started a search party!” "I'm sorry, I was just..." you stop short, realizing that you don't have an explanation for your absence. You feel like Rhaena's sudden appearance has caught you by surprise and you feel a bit embarrassed to explain why you were away. Rhaena’s staring at you and she’s not willing to let this matter go. There is still more to be said, but there is a certain level of awkwardness and tension and between you two right now. You didn’t want to make a bigger deal out of it than it already has been, so you keep your answer brief and simple. "I just flew alone, I wanted some time to be alone with my thoughts..." Rhaena nods her head, seeming to accept your explanation and she doesn't press the issue any further. “So what did you think of King’s Landing? And what did you think of your other family members?” "Well... it was certainly an experience..." you respond nervously, not sure exactly how to answer the question.
“Mmh. Did you manage to fix your issues with Aegon?” You feel a wave of awkwardness wash over you as Rhaena brings up the topic of Aegon. You're not sure what to say, or how you would even begin to explain the situation between the two of you. “Sort of.” You whispered, feeling like you haven't really fully resolved your issues with Aegon. The two of you still have some things to work out, but the tension is not as bad as it was before. Perhaps kissing him wasn’t such a bad idea after all. Rhaena's observant and perceptive, noticing that you're holding something back when you give your answer. You're not sure if you should give more details to her, you wanted to. You wanted to scream that you’ve kissed Aegon, that you hugged Aemond. That you were utterly confused. This was your first ‘experience’ with the other sex and you weren’t sure what to do now. You wanted to tell her everything that’s going on inside your head, but you decided against it.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
It's been a couple of weeks since you had your experiences with Aegon and Aemond in King's Landing. A lot has happened since then, and things have shifted and changed in your life. Viserys is dead and they have crowned Aegon as King, stealing Rhaenyra’s throne.
"You're going to King's Landing and you're going to give Aegon this.” You are caught off guard by the sudden declaration of your father. You're not sure what he's referring to, but you feel your heart beating faster at the prospect of meeting King Aegon and giving him something. You struggle to contain your anxiety as you look at your father, wondering what he has in mind for you. You're being thrown into a dangerous situation, and you're not sure if you can handle it. There are so many ways this situation could go wrong, you're being pulled into a situation that is bigger than you are ready for. “I don’t think I’m ready… For th-“ his eyes narrow and his voice becomes more demanding. "You must go. It is your duty as my daughter." He stares at you intensely, his eyes sharp and piercing. He's not giving you a choice, you must do his bidding. Daemon's eyes narrow even more as he glares at you. "I am not giving you a choice," he says harshly, "You will go to King's Landing and you will give Aegon this." He leans forward and holds up a small black pouch. "This is the message that I want you to deliver to him. Do you understand?" The intensity of Daemon's gaze leaves you feeling scared and intimidated, as if he's determined to not let you refuse or refuse his demands. You realize that you have no choice but to go, and are left feeling like a pawn in this game of power and politics. “Yes, I understand." you say softly, having no choice but to comply with his orders, since he is your father and you have been raised to obey him. Daemon doesn't respond. Instead, he hands you the small black pouch and begins to walk away, his walk slow and measured.
Daemon's words leave you feeling scared and uncertain about your upcoming trip to King's Landing, where you are expected to deliver a message to the new king. You don't know what the message contains, and you feel a sense of anxiety and unease about the situation, as well as a sense of trepidation about the journey ahead.
It turns out you weren't the only messenger. You learn later that same night that Rhaenys, Jace, and Luke were also sent off with messages of their own. Thinking about the message you're carrying, you can't help but wonder what it could be. It's a heavy burden, with your life potentially hanging in the balance. Every step you take on the road to King's Landing is a step closer to danger and potential confrontation with the new ‘king’. The gravity of the situation suddenly sinks in, and you feel like you're walking into the unknown. Aegon wouldn’t hurt you, would he?
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
It's a long journey to King's Landing, but after countless hours of flight, you finally make it to the city. You land in one of the city's landing spots, feeling both relieved and exhausted as you finally made it. That sense of relief and exhaustion is quickly replaced with a sense of anxiety and uncertainty as you realize that you still have the task left: to deliver the message to the new King, Aegon II.
You make your way to the castle in King's Landing, walking up to the gates. There are guards stationed on both sides of the gate, who keep watch over the castle grounds. You feel anxious and fearful as you approach them, they keep an watchful eye on you as you draw closer. Eventually you find your way to the throne room of the castle. Aegon is sitting in his throne, his piercing eyes looking down at you. He is flanked by a handful of guards and advisors, forming a circle around him. As you enter the room, the quiet conversations and whispers stop instantly, and all attention is focused on you. His gaze is like a blazing flame, his look burning into you as he waits for you to speak. The guards and advisors stand close by, as if they are ready to spring into action at a moment's notice. Everyone in the room is watching you intently, and you feel the pressure of everyone's eyes bearing down on you.
“I brought you a message from Queen Rhaenyra.” Your voice sounds small and strained as you speak, the weight of so many eyes upon you is overwhelming. The atmosphere in the room is thick with anticipation. After a pause, Aegon speaks, his voice calm and measured. "And what is the message?" "The message is personal and private, and it is to be delivered only to you and no one else." Aegon’s eyes narrow and his expression becomes more intense, as if deep in thought. He's silent for a moment, before finally speaking. "I see. If the message is personal and private, then why are you delivering it instead of Queen Rhaenyra herself?" The tension in the air increases as he speaks, his tone is stern and his face is fixed in a serious expression. He's awaiting a good reason for him to accept this message as legitimate and not a trick or ruse. "There must have been some reason for you being sent here, rather than Queen Rhaenyra coming herself," he says, "Is there a reason why she wouldn't have come here herself? If this message was so personal and private, why didn't she come herself to deliver it?" “I’m not sure.” Aegon raises an eyebrow, his expression becoming even more skeptical. "You're not sure?" He asks in a skeptical tone, "That's a rather unsatisfactory answer, don't you think?" After a few moments, you finally speak again. “My father sent me as the messenger.” “And why would he have done that, I wonder?!”
Aegon stares at you for a few more moments, with a stern and intense expression, before finally speaking again. “Well, I suppose we shall just have to read the message for ourselves, and see what Rhaenyra has to say.” He finally reaches for the small black pouch in your hands, and begins opening it. He removes the message inside and examines it, reading what is written on it. After a few moments, he looks back up at you. "That cunning bitch," he mutters under his breath. His fury seems to be reaching a boiling point, as he speaks again. "Everyone out!” As the room falls silent, you look at Aegon, who is now standing in front of you, still clutching the message in his hands. His face is contorted with fury, and his expression is like the face of a raging bull, ready to charge at a moment's notice.
After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, he speaks again. "How dare she send you here with a message like this!" He shouts, his voice full of rage and anger. "She thinks she can tell me what to do? Who the fuck does she think she is!?" He stares at you for a few moments, his eyes narrowed and his face full of rage. "And does she think I'm just gonna let you walk away after this?!" "Pardon me?" Your face began to grow darker. "I will not let this pass. I will not let her disrespect me in such a manner. And I'm not going to just let you walk away either. I will not let you go. You're going to be my prize of war, and you'll stay here with me, where I can take my time with you." The threat of violence is now very evident in the king's tone. He continues to stare at you, his expression growing darker and more intense.
This was probably a big mistake. You can feel the weight of his glare digging deep into your skin, and you feel like he's considering what he's going to do to you even more seriously now. After a few moments of silence, Aegon takes a deep breath and starts to speak again. "You're going to stay here with me, and I'm going to take my time with you. Your queen might think that she's being clever and making a request, but I'll show her just how foolish she is." "The fuck I am! You can't keep me captive!" Aegon takes a deep breath and nods his head slowly. "Oh, can't I?" He responds calmly and politely, but his tone is one of pure menace. “I can keep you here for as long as I like, and there's nothing you can do about it.” His face grows even darker, and he slowly steps towards you. He moves in closer and closer, getting right into your personal space. He's so close that you can feel his breath on your neck, and it's an unbearably intense feeling. His face just a few inches away from your ear. You feel his breath tickling your neck, and it sends a shiver down your spine. His voice is like a whisper, but it's a whisper of pure threat and power. "You're mine now." His breath tickles your skin, you feel like you can't move, like your body has frozen up and you can't even scream.
Aegon’s breath continues to tickle your skin as he pulls you close to him, his lips just brushing against your skin. You feel powerless to move, as if your body has been frozen in place by the fear he is instilling in you. "Worry not sweetling, we'll have a good time." He whispers into your ear, his voice is like a snake slithering its way into your head. "N-no..." His breath continues to whisper into your ear, and his voice is full of a predatory kind of sensuality. "Oh, yes.." He replies slowly, dragging his next words out for a long time. "You are mine, there’s no running from me now. I’ll take good care of you..." You try to break free from the his grip, but it's hard to get away from him. He holds you close to himself and his hold on you is tight. He seems to be enjoying himself far too much at the prospect of taking you for his own. Your body is filled with fear and trepidation, but you also feel a strange sense of excitement and arousal. Your body is responding to his touch in a way that is both terrifying and pleasurable at the same time. Aegon’s hands are caressing your skin softly as he pulls you closer to him, holding you even tighter and not letting you go anywhere. You let out a whimper as the caress of his touch sends a tingling sensation down your spine. You're being consumed in a very intimate way, your body being overwhelmed by his presence and you feel yourself melting in his grasp. Your attention was completely focused on Aegon that you didn't notice Aemond entering the room.
Aemond sees the two of you, and you can tell from the look in his eye that he is absolutely furious. He walks up close to you, and you feel the heat of his anger radiating off of his presence like a fire. Aegon finally notices Aemond's presence and looks over at him with a dark expression, his mouth curled up into a sneer. His grip on you becomes even tighter, and you can feel the heat coming off his body like a furnace as he stares at Aemond. He seems very protective of you, and he is not going to let anyone interfere with his plans. Aemond's eye was burning with fury, staring down at Aegon, his voice is a low and menacing growl. "What do you think you're doing with her?!" Aegon looks up at Aemond with a dark and menacing expression, he continues to hold you close to himself. "I'm taking her for my own." He replies in a cold voice. Aemond's eye is still fixated on Aegon, and the two men seem to be locked in a fierce staring contest. You can feel the tension in the air increasing as both men glare at each other, their hostility and aggression rising even higher. Aegon’s grip on you tightens even more, and you feel like you're being smothered.
"I will not let you touch her!" Aemond snaps, and you can tell he's barely holding back his anger. His face is a mask of fury, his body is tensing up, as if he's preparing to attack at any moment. He seems absolutely determined to protect you, and you can feel the raw power and aggression coming off of him like a storm of fury. Neither man wants to back down in this stand off, and they continue to glare at each other with a sense of simmering fury. You're trapped in the middle, with all of this tension and hostility growing around you. Your body is being overpowered by Aegon’s grip and you can't move away. "Please let me go..." Your voice is completely being ignored by both men as their confrontation becomes more intense and heated. You try to plead with both Aegon and Aemond to let you go, but they both seem to have lost all rationality and their sense of logic. Now all they're focused on is fighting over your possession. You’re trapped, scared and helpless as you continue to plead with him to let you go. But his resolve is like iron, and you can't help but feel like this is the endgame for you, and that you're going to be carried off in the king's arms at any moment now.
Aegon finally releases you from his grip, and you fall to the floor at his feet. You can feel him looking at you with a cold and menacing glare, but you're also relieved to be free from his grasp. You have a few seconds of hesitation and fear before Aemond pulls you behind him. You cling onto his back as he faces Aegon and you can feel his anger overflowing like an overflowing cup of wrath. "A-aemond..." you whimper, clinging onto him for support. He's the only thing in this room that seems like it could protect you right now. You feel like you're safe with him, but you still can't help but feel terrified at what might happen next.
"I am going to escort her to a guest room and then I’ll deal with you, Aegon." Aegon stares at Aemond with a deadly look of fury, but he doesn't resist. He lets Aemond lead you out of the room, and you're still clinging onto him for support. You feel safe and protected in Aemond's arms, but you still can't help but feel a bit of hesitation and uncertainty. Aemond's tone is stern and authoritative as he leads you out of the room. He doesn't look back at Aegon, and he keeps his eyes focused on the task of safely getting you away from him. You can feel him breathing softly next to you, and you can feel his muscles flexing slightly with each step he takes as he leads you out of the room. He leads you through the halls of the castle. Your body still clinging onto him as a source of protection and comfort, and you’re slightly trembling with fear and nerves. Despite being stern and authoritative, he's also being very gentle and careful with you.
The two of you finally arrive at a room, and Aemond closes the door behind you. He turns to face you, and you can see the intense look in his eye as he stares at you for a moment. You feel like you're being scrutinized by that penetrating gaze, and it makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. He's not smiling or being friendly like before, but instead he seems to be assessing you in an oddly intense way. Aemond stays silent for a minute, continuing to look at you with that intense gaze. You feel like he's looking at you like a stranger, and you feel like he's judging you based on what happened back there. You feel a bit nervous under his intense stare, and you feel like he's not being friendly at all. You have no idea what sort of reaction he is going to have to this situation, and you feel very vulnerable as a result. You still feel like a trembling nervous mess under his stare. After a minute of silence, he finally speaks in a stern voice. "So...what happened back there?" His tone is very serious and stoic, there's no hint of friendliness in his voice. His eye is penetrating, looking into your soul. You don't know what to say, and you feel like your words are being scrutinized heavily. "I, I gave him a message from Queen Rhaenyra." Aemond’s face remains stoic and unchanged, and he waits for you to say more. His face show no hint of a reaction to what you've said, and he continues to stare at you with that piercingly intense gaze. "I have no idea what it says... But I can only imagine... Aegon isn't the rightful king." His face still remains expressionless, studying you intensely. He still seems very cautious and distrustful. He seems suspicious of your reason for delivering the message in the first place. "So, you're trying to steal my brother's crown?" Aemond finally spoke, and your heart skipped a beat when you heard his voice. His tone filled with a suspicious kind of disdain. His words were loaded with malice and anger as he accused you of trying to steal his older brother's crown. You could not help but feel your heart beating in your throat at his accusation. "Your queen is a usurper, and a thief. She is trying to steal my brother's crown."
Your heart skipped a beat when Aemond moved closer and caressed your cheek gently, your body shuddering slightly at the touch. You could feel the heat of his breath and his touch on your skin, and your whole body felt like it was trembling under his grasp. "I'm afraid your our prisoner now, dove." His touch made you shiver and tremble in a way that you found both thrilling and frightening. The way he caressed your cheek with his thumb was so tender and gentle, his touch was like a gentle caress sending butterflies through your whole body. "My father will have your head for keeping me hostage!" Your words seem to be have a profound effect Aemond's stance as he stops caressing and backing away slightly. His eyes are filled with a sudden flash of anger and hostility, and he seems to be glaring at you with a mixture of distrust and fury. He then speaks in a harsh and stern voice. "My brother will also have your so called queen’s head for being a traitor to the throne! You should be grateful that I have chosen to keep you safe." His sudden outburst of anger and hostility took you off guard, and you had no idea how to handle his sudden change of mood. You felt like a small and powerless creature facing off against a giant beast. His tone was menacing and he seemed so much stronger and more frightening than you remembered him to be. As he spoke, his anger and hostility made you feel even more vulnerable and scared. This was not the gentle and friendly Aemond you remembered, this was a whole different beast entirely. "I am protecting you. Your so-called queen would never treat you with such care as I have." He took one step closer again, his tone sounding more insistent and authoritarian than before. You could feel the heat of his breath and the intensity of his gaze, and your heart was beating out of your chest. "I will take care of you. I will protect you." He spoke softly this time, almost sounding like a whispering voice. You felt like your whole body was trembling with fear and nerves, but you felt a strange sense of comfort underneath the intensity of his gaze. You felt like a small animal being held tightly in the grip of a predator, but in this predator's eyes you found a hint of kindness and tenderness. "Do you see how I am treating you? Like a precious jewel. Like a delicate flower. Like my little rose."

Part 1
Once you are far enough from King’s Landing, you feel calmer and more relaxed than before. Your head is clear and the air feels fresh and invigorating after flying for so long. As you look down at the landscape below, you realize that you have to return to the castle at some point.
The thought of going back to the castle fills your thoughts, you feel a small twinge of anxiety in your stomach. You know that you'll have to face people, and potentially face Aegon or Aemond. You continue to fly over the surrounding land for a few more minutes, enjoying your peaceful time alone with Silverwing. As you feel the tension easing up inside you, you suddenly realize that you've been flying for a while, and Silverwing needs rest. It’s time to take her back to the Dragonpit. As you turn toward the castle, you see that there are still people out and about.
Your heart skips a beat when you see your father waiting for you below and you feel a rush of anxiety fill your body. You'd rather not face him at the moment, especially not after last night. As you descend towards the courtyard, you notice that he is staring at you, his expression cold and unreadable as always. You think about just turning Silverwing around and flying away, but you know that you'd only be putting off the inevitable. Considering your options, you realize that it would only be temporary relief. Daemon would come looking for you later, and you'd have to face him eventually. You feel like it would be better to get it over with now, rather than drag it out for longer.
You guide Silverwing to a safe area and land in the courtyard. You notice that Daemon is still watching you, his expression cold and stoic as he stands there waiting. You feel a shiver down your spine as Daemon's gazes bores into you. He looks like he's in a mood for a confrontation and that's the last thing you want to deal with right now. You slowly dismount from Silverwing, and make your way towards Daemon, feeling the tension growing with every step. He remains motionless and expressionless. You can feel the tension building between you as he stares at you with his cold, unwavering gaze. You don't know how to read the situation, but you get the feeling that this is not going to be an easy conversation. When you're finally in front of him, Daemon's eyes narrow a bit as he looks at you. He waits for you to speak, and you can feel the silence hanging heavy in the air. For a moment, neither of you says anything, the tension building with every moment of silence.
"Did I disappoint you last night?" He looks at you silently for a moment, like he's weighing his words. When he finally speaks, his expression is still impassive but there's a subtle hint of anger in his voice. He doesn't sound overtly upset but you can tell that he's not happy about your interaction with Prince Aegon. "I had expected more from you," Daemon says sharply, looking away as he does so. His tone is sharp and blunt, his words like arrows directed at you. You can't help but feel hurt and embarrassed as you hear his words. "I'm sorry," you reply softly, feeling embarrassed and defensive. "Do you think you were acting appropriately?" Daemon asks sharply, still looking away. His tone is still cold and hard and you can feel the distance growing between you as he refuses to meet your gaze.
"He deserved it..." "So you enjoyed embarrassing him?" Daemon asks sharply, his eyes narrowing in accusation. "You enjoyed calling him a dick and making him look like a fool in front of everyone?" You weren't sure if you should answer that honestly, "No... I did not." "No?" Daemon asks, raising an eyebrow with slight amusement. The anger is still in his voice, but he seems more amused than angry now. "And what exactly did you get from mocking him then? I can't say a single good word about Aegon, but we don't need you mocking him. Understand?"
"I'll apologize to him, father." "Yes you will." Daemon says curtly. "But that's not enough. I expect you to start acting more maturely from now on." "Yes, father," you reply, feeling like a child. You aren't sure how to respond to his remarks and you're already feeling very self-conscious and embarrassed. His gaze is still hard and cold, but he's no longer seeming very upset with you. It seems like he has moved on and is letting you off the hook, at least for now.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
As you head in the direction of Aegon's chambers, you can't help but feel nervous. You’re uncertain as to how he'll react to seeing you again, especially after last night. But you're also determined to apologize and make things right. Finally, you arrive at Aegon's chambers. You knock softly at the door and wait for a response, feeling nervous and unsure as you wait. You wonder if you should just leave if he doesn't answer right away. After a moment, you hear a soft, low voice come from the other side of the door. "Come in," says Aegon in his characteristic mocking tone. You open the door and walk into his chambers. You see him sitting on the edge of his bed, a cup of wine in his hand. The chamber is rather dim, with the curtains pulled over the windows. You see Aegon glance up at you briefly before looking away and taking a sip from his wine cup.
You hesitate as you step into the dimly lit room. The atmosphere is rather cold and aloof, and it seems like Aegon has no interest in talking with you. He's not even looking at you now, just taking a drink of his wine and staring off into space. You feel awkward and uncomfortable and you wonder how you are suppose to begin the conversation. "I was hoping we could talk..." When you speak, Aegon simply looks over at you for a moment, his face an impassive mask. He doesn't say anything in response, and just continues to stare off into space, seemingly ignoring you. He takes another sip from his wine cup and places it on the table next to him. You feel a wave of frustration and agitation rising within you, as if you're trying to speak to a wall. "I wanted to apologize," you say softly, feeling like you're speaking into a void. You're not sure that he's listening to a single word you're saying and he doesn't seem to realize how hard this is for you. Aegon's expression remains as cold and aloof as ever, offering no hints as to how the conversation is going. He simply continues to stare off into space, paying no attention to you or your apology. It's as if he's ignoring you completely, which only heightens your growing frustration. "I'm sorry for how I acted last night," you continue softly, trying to maintain your calm. You can't help but feel like you're just giving a monologue to someone who's not even listening to you. You just hope that he'll say something soon, or at least look at you...
And finally, after what feels like an eternity, Aegon finally breaks the silence. He sighs softly and stares at you for a moment, looking somewhat more serious now. Your heart skips a beat and hope begins to flicker inside you. "So you expect me to just forgive and forget what happened last night?" Aegon says sharply, his tone still mocking and condescending. You can feel the familiar surge of anger and annoyance rising inside you and it feels like you're right back where you started. You take a deep breath and try to remain calm. It's clear that he's not going to forgive you easily and you know that you need to tread carefully here. You try your best to maintain your composure and not give into your emotions, but it's difficult in the face of his mocking tone. "No. I don't expect you to forget anything, I do hope you can forgive me though."
"So you think that your cute little apology is enough?" Aegon says mockingly, his tone still sharp and sarcastic. You can't help but feel like he's taunting you and it's starting to push your buttons. "I'm just being honest," you reply softly, feeling your temper starting to flare up. "I'm just... Just trying to make things right. Isn't that what I'm suppose to do after making a mistake?" "Is that what your daddy taught you?" Aegon says in a scornful voice. "You think that you can make things right just by saying a few pretty words and waving your sweet little smile in my face?" "Yes, that's what my father told me," you reply sharply, angry now. It feels like he's being dismissive and he's not taking you seriously at all. "He told me that being honest and trying to make things right after making a mistake is the mature thing to do. I guess that’s a lesson you never got."
"I mean, it's such a sweet little apology. Your precious daddy trained you well." Aegon says mockingly, his tone still sarcastic and condescending. "But you're forgetting one thing." "What's that?" you ask softly, wondering what he's about to say. You're feeling agitated and angry now, and you're tired of his sarcastic tone. "Your apology means nothing unless you actually mean it. And how can you mean it when I know you don't even care that much... All you want to do is get me to forgive you instead of thinking that you actually owe me an apology. So if you want to be forgiven by me, then start acting like you're actually sorry." "What else do you want me to say? I've already apologized and admitted my mistakes. I can't say things that I don't believe in." you reply softly, feeling frustrated and annoyed, but also realizing that he may have a point.
"If you believe you said sorry then why aren't you looking at me in the eyes and giving me a proper apology?" Aegon asks mockingly, his attitude becoming more and more mocking the longer the conversation drags on. It feels almost deliberate, like he's trying to push you to your limits. Before you can reply, Aegon stands up from the bed and walks closer to you, his eyes locking onto yours. He stares intensely at you, as if waiting for a response. Your heart skips a beat as you find yourself staring into his piercing blue eyes, feeling your throat suddenly becoming tight around the words you want to say. "You see Princess, if you want to be forgiven... You have to try a lot harder."
"What do you want me to do? Kneel or prostrate myself?" you ask sharply, feeling increasingly annoyed by the situation. You can't help but feel like he's enjoying this exchange, like he's taking pleasure in seeing you struggle. "Oh, no... No, no, no. I would never ask you to do that. I'm just asking for a proper apology." Aegon says with a mock smile. "A proper apology should always come with an honest expression of remorse and sincerity. But I'm not seeing that here." "I already said I'm sorry and I meant it. If you don't want to accept my apologies, then so be it." you reply sharply. You feel like you're being treated unfairly and you can't help but feel like he's trying to deliberately piss you off. "That's the thing though, dear Princess. I don't think you are sorry. Your apology sounds like a bunch of empty, meaningless words. You don't actually show any remorse or sincerity." Aegon says mockingly, his tone becoming even harsher now. "So is that what you want? For me to break down in front of you, begging you for forgiveness? Do you want me to cry and tear my hair out for you?" you ask angrily, feeling like you're at the end of the rope with this conversation. "Let's be honest, I would be rather amused to watch you cry and beg for forgiveness. It sure would break up the dullness of this day." Aegon says, his mocking tone now becoming outright cruel and mocking.
"You're an utter jerk, you know that?" you reply angrily, your temper getting the best of you. You storm out of the room, feeling frustrated and angry as you slam the door behind you. You can't believe that your apology was met with such mockery and condescension. It's clear that you were just a pawn in his cruel little game. You feel so angry and humiliated, you don't think you'll ever speak to him again.
The rest of the day passes by, and you try your best to pretend that you're not still annoyed by the whole thing. No matter how hard you try, you can't help but replay the conversation over and over again in your mind. Evening finally arrives and you finally get to relax and retire to your chambers. You're feeling mentally exhausted and drained and all you want to do is curl up in your bed and be alone with your thoughts. You try to distract yourself by doing some reading. However, you can't focus on your book for very long, as someone knocked on the door of your chamber. It breaks you out of your mental spiral. You wonder who could be knocking at this hour, and you get up from your bed to go check. When you open the door, you see Aegon standing there.
He's just standing there, his expression cold and indifferent. It's a far cry from the mocking and condescending tone you heard earlier today. You can't help but wonder why he's here. Without saying a word, Aegon simply walks straight in, his icy blue eyes locked on your face the entire time. You can't help but feel uneasy in his presence as he crosses your chambers. He walks over to your bed and sits down on the edge, his eyes still watching you intently. Instead of saying anything, Aegon just stares at you for a long moment, his eyes never breaking away from yours. The silence is deafening, until finally he speaks. "I have a condition for your forgiveness." Aegon says in a solemn and serious tone, his eyes never wavering from your face. "Oh yeah? What condition is that?" you ask sharply, feeling angry and irritated again. You can't help but feel like this is a continuation of his cruel mockery from earlier today. "You have to kiss me." Aegon says bluntly, his gaze finally breaking away from yours as he stares off to the side. The quiet tension returns to the air as you stare at him, feeling surprised and confused. You can't help but wonder if he's joking or not. "You heard me." Aegon speaks, staring back at you with the same serious and solemn expression. "You have to kiss me, and if you do, then I will forgive you."
"Kiss you? You're joking right?" you ask sharply, feeling shocked and confused. You can't believe this is a legitimate condition for forgiveness. "Dead serious," Aegon replies firmly, showing no hint of humor in his expression. "You kiss me, just once, and I'll consider forgiveness granted. But you have to really mean it, not just a quick peck on the cheek. I want a proper, long and passionate kiss. If you do that, then and only then will the slate be clean."
You stand there for a moment, staring at him in disbelief. The mere thought of kissing him is making you feel uncomfortable, but at the same time, you can't help but be intrigued by the idea. His icy stare is unwavering as he waits for your answer. You can't help but feel slightly attracted to him, you feel the tension rising with every passing moment and your heart is beating faster as you consider the idea of kissing him. It's not something you'd ever consider under normal circumstances, but there's something about him that's making you feel... intrigued. You find yourself taking a step toward him, your body almost moving on its own.
"You don't deserve a kiss." "I think I do." Aegon says softly, slowly stepping toward you as well. The tension between the two of you grows by the second, and you feel yourself getting closer and closer to him. There's almost no distance left between your faces now, your lips almost touching. "Kiss me if you genuinely feel sorry, if you truly want to be forgiven.” he adds softly, his eyes still locked on yours. You can't help but feel your heart beating faster and faster. The heat of the moment is making it hard to think rational thoughts or to even remember why you're supposed to be mad at him in the first place. Your breath becoming hotter and faster and you finally gave in. It's a passionate and intense kiss, and you feel a wave of excitement rushing through you like never before. You find yourself pressing into him, feeling his body tightly against you as the warm touch of his tongue sends shivers down your spine. You feel like you're on cloud nine, the tension of the interaction melting away as you're swept up into the passion and emotion of the moment.
"That wasn't so hard, was it Princess?" Aegon pulls away after a few moments, watching you breathe heavily and catch your breath. Your lips are still moist and warm from the kiss and you feel like you can't remember anything else other than the feeling of his lips on yours. You feel flushed and disorientated as you stare back at him, unable to form a coherent sentence. "I accept your apology." he says teasingly before leaving you alone in your chamber. You stand there for a moment, trying to catch your breath and make sense of what just happened. You're still feeling flushed and disorientation, and the taste of Aegon's lips is still lingering on your lips. You can't help but feel slightly embarrassed and confused, but at the same time, you can't deny that it was one of the most thrilling experiences you can remember. You feel like you're floating on air.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
Morning arrived rather quickly. You finish getting ready and step outside, feeling a bit exhausted but overall in a good mood. You can't help but feel giddy from the exchange with Aegon last night, and you can't wait to see him again. When you step outside, you see Aemond landing Vhagar. You stare at him, feeling your cheeks start to heat up. You look at Vhagar in awe and admiration, the sheer size of the dragon is truly breathtaking. It's like looking at an enormous mountain made of scales and teeth and claws. She is truly a majestic sight to behold, and you can’t help but be intrigued by her presence. You notice that Aemond is giving you a small smile as well.
You feel your heart beating faster as you stare at each other. The tension between you two be felt and you find yourself feeling slightly overwhelmed by his presence. Your stomach starts to feel like it's doing somersaults. Aemond breaks the stare first, glancing at you briefly and then looking away. He seems slightly shy and you feel like you caught a glimpse of some emotion you weren't meant to see in his eyes. You watch him dismount from Vhagar, your eyes following him as he walks towards you. Your whole body feels like it's on fire, every nerve in your body tingling with excitement. He stops right in front of you, standing close enough to touch. You hold your breath as you wait for him to say something, hoping he'll break the silence. The tension between you two is almost unbearable, as you feel like you'll explode at any second. His intense gaze doesn't let up either and it feels like he's staring right through you.
"You're up early." You realize that you must have been staring a bit too enthusiastically, because Aemond looks slightly amused by your expression. You start to grow a bit self-consciousness when he calls you out like that, but you also feel a bit smitten as he stares at you in amusement. "I... didn't sleep well last night." You reply anxiously, not sure what else to say. You feel like Aemond's gaze is looking right through you. The silence hangs heavy between you two and you can't help but feel a little awkward. You aren't sure what to say next. You can feel your heart beating faster than normal, and your mind goes completely blank trying to think of something to say.
"Fly with me." You are startled by the sudden request, but you find your own response coming out even before you realize what's happening. "Really?" "Afraid you can't keep up with little Silverwing?" "I..." you struggle to find the right word to describe your anxiety, feeling like you're struggling to gather your thoughts. The truth is that part of you would love to fly with Aemond, but another part of you is so worried about being a burden on him that you find it difficult to say yes. You also can't help to be slightly hurt that he referred to Silverwing as "little Silverwing", even though you know he likely meant no offense by the remark. "I just..." you still can't find the right words, and you find yourself growing slightly irritated by Aemond's amused expression. He seems to be looking at you with a smirk, as if he knows exactly what's going on in your head and is just enjoying teasing you. "I'm not really sure if I should..." you reply hesitantly, not wanting to feel like a burden to him. He seems to be enjoying the whole exchange immensely and you feel like he's enjoying watching you struggle with your words. "I... I would love to..." you suddenly find yourself saying, your eyes widening in surprise at your own answer. You feel like you've been drawn in by his charm and playful manner and your heart is beating even faster now as you realize you've suddenly agreed. You can't help but feel a bit dizzy and overwhelmed by the sudden change in atmosphere, but you're also excited and looking forward to the experience of flying with Aemond.
You mount Silverwing swiftly, your heartbeat increasing with each moment. As you look around, you see Aemond already flying away, waiting for you to catch up. You take off on Silverwing and fly after him, your heart pounding in your chest as the adrenaline rush fills you. You feel a bit giddy as the winds whip past you, your heart filled with anticipation and excitement. You feel like you're flying in a dream, the world around you becoming a blur as your thoughts become consumed with the flight ahead. As you look ahead, you see Aemond's figure getting bigger and bigger, the sight filling you with wonder and amazement as you approach him.
He flies higher and higher into the clouds, your heart pounding harder and harder as you follow closely behind. The landscape grows smaller and smaller beneath you, and your breath starts getting shorter and shorter as you fly higher and higher into the sky. You feel like you're floating on a cloud, the only sound in the world being the buzzing of the wind in your ears. You can almost feel like the air itself is singing to you as you fly, and you feel a sense of euphoria and peace like you've never felt before. You continue to move forward, flying higher and higher until eventually the air starts to become thinner and thinner. You feel your breathing become more and more labored, and you start to feel the effects of altitude on your body. But the view is like nothing you've ever seen before, the sky a deep blue and the clouds turning a light shade of white. You feel a feeling of exhilaration and awe as you marvel at the sight, taking in each moment with a sense of glee and joy.
The breath coming in shorter and shorter as you go higher and higher. You're no longer able to hear anything clearly, and your body feels like it's being weighed down by the thin air and altitude. You continue to marvel at the view, feeling like you're floating in a dream-like state where nothing else matters but the sight in front of you. But you feel your body giving way, the altitude taking its toll as you start to feel lightheaded and dizzy.
You feel a sudden rush of relief as you see Vhagar moving down towards you, the sight of the land coming into view once more as if by magic. Your body feels a bit heavy and dizzy, but you feel thankful for Aemond's presence and guidance. As you land, you are able to get off Silverwing without too much difficulty, and you're feeling better as you begin to feel the ground beneath your feet once more. Aemond dismounted Vhagar as well, coming over to you. He looks at you cautiously, checking your wellbeing as he sees that you are still a bit wobbly. "Are you alright?" he asks gently, placing his hand on your shoulder to ensure you are stable. You feel a bit flushed and embarrassed at the sudden gesture, but you can't help but feel thankful for his concern. It's like he can always see what you're feeling and that makes you feel safe and comforted in his presence. "I..." you find yourself struggling to find the words again, still a bit disorientated and dizzy from the experience. You feel like you're still breathing heavily and your heart is still racing. You feel slightly embarrassed by your reaction. Aemond notices your hesitation and he sighs gently as he pulls you close and gives you a hug. He holds you tightly against him, and you can't help but feel reassured by his presence. You feel like he's wrapping you in his arms, and you find yourself feeling oddly relaxed and safe in his protective embrace. As close as you are, you find yourself noticing his heartbeat as if it's your own. You feel like you could stay like this forever, lost in a bliss of comfort and closeness.
He lets go of you gently, his eyes searching yours for a moment before he nods in understanding. He seems to recognize the emotions of embarrassment and flusterment that you feel, and he gives you a gentle smile before stepping away. Aemond has such an intimate and understanding look towards you, and you're filled with a sense of affection for him that is beyond words. "T-thanks..." Aemond smiles warmly at you, letting his gaze stay on you for a moment before he glances away in amusement. You don't know what it is about his gaze, but there's something so intimate about it that makes your heart flutter. You feel like there is a deep connection between you two that goes beyond just words. You barely know him, but something about him draws you in completely.
"It's my pleasure." he replies softly, his smile a mixture of amusement and affection. You look into his eye and you find yourself feeling a bit overwhelmed by the depths of his gaze. You feel like there's so much to explore, as if there are infinite possibilities within. You also feel like he's reading you perfectly, like his eyes are an open book to your soul.
"Well, I should-" he starts to say, but you can't help but feel a feeling of wanting to stay near him a bit longer. "Don't leave yet." you find yourself saying, your voice slightly hoarse from the excitement and nerves. You're struck by a sudden feeling of desperation to stay close to him, feeling like you're losing something precious as he starts to move away. You feel like you have to say something to keep him nearby and you realize how badly you want him to stay. Your words caught him off guard, he glances at you thoughtfully, seeming slightly flustered by your words. "I..." he starts to say, but you can't help yourself from suddenly moving closer to him, placing your hands softly on his shoulders. It's a gesture done almost instinctively.
His eye widen a bit, his breath hitching ever so slightly at the unexpected gesture. You can sense his surprise at the sudden closeness between you two. You feel like you're stepping over a line, but you find yourself feeling drawn to him and wanting to be as close as possible. As you lean closer, a sudden draconic roar fills the air, breaking your concentration and the intense feeling of intimacy that had built up. You feel your heart dropping as you pull away, realizing it was a different dragon roaring in the air. You look around anxiously, trying to spot the source of the sound.
The source of the roar becomes more clear, as you see the golden glimmer of Sunfyre's scales rising above the trees. You can sense the intensity of the moment building, as you watch Aemond's gaze narrow more and more. You feel like a storm is about to be unleashed and you feel a bit of a jolt of fear run through you as you realize that something is going to happen. You watch as Aemond's gaze track the progress of Sunfyre, as it flies across the sky and grows closer and closer. The golden dragon's roar fills the air, its wings whipping the wind and sending swirls of dust flying as it approaches. Aemond doesn't take his eyes off of the dragon, and you feel like a conflict is about to erupt. You watch as Sunfyre lands on the ground, its golden scales glistening brightly in the sunlight.
You watch as Aegon dismounts from Sunfyre's back, his expression stern and serious. You can feel the tension building in the air, and you can see the muscles in Aemond's frame tightening as he gets ready to engage in combat. The intensity of the moment is building, the air is growing thicker with the sound of the dragon's roar and the sight of Aemond and Aegon facing off against each other. You feel like you're a bit of a bystander now, watching as the conflict between the two men intensifies. "Running off with my girl, brother?"
"I was merely escorting her back to Dragonstone. She was our guest. Nothing more." Aemond replied crisply and calmly, not taking his eyes off Aegon’s face. You could tell that although his tone was level and even, there was a hint of tension under the surface that could burst out at any moment. "That's not what it looks like." Aegon responds sarcastically, his face tightening in anger. He seems to have taken offense to Aemond's response. The two men continue to stare at each other for a moment, before Aegon suddenly breaks out into a grin and steps towards Aemond. You can't help but feel a sense of surprise and anticipation at the switch in tone, which seems to have caught Aemond off guard as well. Aemond doesn't back down, however, and meets Aegon's gaze evenly and calmly. "Stop! I am no one's girl!" You hear your voice ring out, and you suddenly feel yourself stepping between the men as they stare at each other with sharp eyes. Relief washed over you as the tension between the two seems to diffuse a bit, as they both turn their eyes to focus on you instead.
Shivers running through you, as you become the center of attention. You stand between the two men, facing off against each other, as their eyes look at you intently from both sides. "There’s no need for this..." You find yourself whispering to yourself instinctively, a bit unsure of what to say or how to defuse the situation. The air is still thick with tension, and neither man seems ready to back down or de-escalate the situation. "I know how to handle my own affair." Aemond replies, and you find yourself feeling a bit of tension when he speaks. His tone is crisp and direct. "Do you? By having a showdown with your brother?" "This is between me and my brother only. Leave us." he replies curtly, and you feel like there's no reasoning with him at this point. You nod at him, "As you wish." You quickly mount Silverwing and take off into the air, escaping the tense atmosphere between the two brothers. You feel like you've just survived a near-miss, and you can't help but feel a bit relieved as you fly away on your dragon. The air is a bit cleaner now that you're away from the tension-filled environment, and you feel like you're able to breath easier once more.

"You are meant to be the love of my next life."
Pairing | Aemond and Aegon x reader Wordcount | 2.8k Warnings | Medieval misogyny
Your whole life you have been sheltered by your father, Daemon. You might have been a bastard but he cared for you. In his own ways. Daemon being Daemon… Your life wasn’t easy. Comfortable but isolated. He didn’t want the world to know about you. It was better that way. And who are you defy him? If it wasn’t for the grand feast you probably would have never left your little castle. Your personal cage.
As you stepped out of the castle, the grandeur of the surroundings outside captivated your eyes. The palace was filled with rich tapestries hanging on the walls and lush carpets covering the floors. The chandeliers made of gold and silver cast a warm glow over the banquet hall, and the smell of delicious foods filled the air. As you walked into the banquet hall, your eyes locked with Prince Aemond’s. His blue eyes bored into yours, and you felt a rush of adrenaline course through your veins. You couldn’t take your eyes off of him. You heard tales about him and most of them... Weren't that good. Despite the stories you've heard about Aemond, his charismatic looks, his powerful presence and undeniable charm draw you into his orbit. As you look at his handsome exterior, you can't help but wonder what lies behind those icy blue eyes. You feel your heart racing faster as you stare at him and the air in the room feels thicker, as if you've suddenly been plunged into some kind of magical spell. It's as if he's drawing you in, like a moth to a flame and you just can't look away. You notice that Aemond is staring at you as well, his expression unreadable. It's almost like he's sizing you up and trying to figure you out, even though the two of you have never met before.
You both remain silent for a few moments, just staring at each other, with the tension rising with each passing second. Something about this exchange feels different. There's an intensity to it that makes you uneasy, but at the same time, you can't tear your eyes away.
As the staring contest continues, you begin to feel a strange sense of recognition toward Aemond. It's like you've seen him before, or perhaps in a dream. As you continue to stare into his pale blue eyes, you begin to feel that you have some kind of connection with him, a deep and primal connection that transcends words or reason. Suddenly,  Aemond frowns slightly and breaks eye contact. You notice his expression has changed slightly. Before you can register what's going on, his gaze shifts past you and he nods his head at someone. You turn your head to see who he's looking at, and you spot Prince Aegon staring at you with an amused look on his face. Aemond walks over to Aegon and they begin to whisper to each other, occasionally looking in your direction. You feel like the two of them are talking about you and you can't help but wonder what they could be saying. As the conversation continues, their whispers begin to sound more heated.
After some time  Aemond turns to you again, his gaze now more serious than before. He walks over to you as if he's about to say something. but before he can utter a word, Aegon suddenly steps in between you and him, blocking his way. Aegon smirks lazily and makes a snide comment saying something along the lines of "Looks like someone's taken a fancy to our little princess here." Aemond scoffs and snaps back at his brother, "Like I would be interested in her." He laughs contemptuously and then looks at you with a teasing smirk. "Are you sure about that? I think she's quite pretty... don't you think? She's certainly caught my eye."
Aemond glares at Aegon and then looks at you with a hint of annoyance. "She means nothing to me - she is of no consequence." Aegon snorts and laughs again, shaking his head. "Whatever you say, brother... Whatever you say." He turns back to you and flashes you a cocky grin. "But I can't help but notice that he seemed pretty interested in you just then. I wonder why." You feel a rush of excitement mixed with nervousness as Prince Aegon continues to stare at you with that mischievous grin on his face. It's like he's playing a game with you. He continues to taunt Aemond, saying something like "I think you have a little competition for the princess' affection. What do you say we make it a competition, brother? Whoever can woo the princess will be the winner."
That’s enough. “Watch your tongue. I am not a prize.”
The two men look at you with shock on their faces. Aemond's eyes are wide open in surprise, while Aegon is giving you a condescending grin. "We're just two princes toying with a sweet little princess like you. That's all. What's the issue?" Aegon says in a mocking tone. You feel your cheeks burning with rage at the way Aegon is talking to you. You're used to being treated like a commodity by your father, but there's something about the way Aegon is speaking to you that triggers something primal within you. You find yourself suddenly stepping forward and getting into Aegon's face. You can feel your anger rising with each passing second. "I am not a 'little princess' or a 'sweet thing'. I'm a grown woman, not a prize to be won."
"Temper... Temper... We weren't trying to offend you sweetheart," Aegon says sarcastically. "We were just having some fun. Don't tell me a strong-willed women like yourself can't handle a little harmless teasing?" "Harmless teasing...? You're treating me like an object!" you shout loudly. "You're talking down on me as if I were a prize to be won. As if you could just walk up to me and expect me to do whatever you want. Can you not see how disrespectful that is?!” "Oh I see I’ve hit a nerve there." Aegon says, smirking at you. "You’re quite feisty, sweetheart. I like that." He laughs, a lazy kind of laugh. You feel your anger boiling over as you hear Aegon's smirks and condescending remarks. You can't help but wonder why he acts like this. Like, what does he get out of it? You don't know, but one thing's for sure... you're not going to let him get away with this behavior.
"I don't know why you're acting like this," you say, your voice brimming with anger. "Maybe you're insecure, maybe you're overcompensating for something. Or maybe you're just a dick." A deafening silence fills the room as everyone stares at you and the two princes, their expressions a mix of shock and disbelief. The tension is palpable, and it seems like no one knows what to say or do next. Aegon is the first to respond, his face contorting into an expression of anger. "What did you just call me?" he snarls. You stare right back at him and don't back down one bit. "I think you heard me loud and clear. I called you a dick." A sharp gasp fills the room, as a few onlookers are shocked at your boldness. You cannot help but feel a sense of satisfaction as you stare right back at Aegon, who seems incredibly agitated and his face is flushed with anger. His face darkens and he looks ready to explode with fury. He takes a few steps towards you, his fists clenched and his eyes narrowed. "I think you need a lesson in proper etiquette, little princess," he says in a menacing tone.
You don't flinch at Aegon's threat. In fact, you stand your ground and look him straight in the eye. You know that you're provoking him and that you might be going too far but you can't help but feel a rush of adrenaline as you stare him down. Aegon's face darkens even more as he stares at you and you can feel your heart beating faster with each passing second. The tension is growing thick in the air and you can't help feeling like something bad is about to happen. As the two of you stare at each other, the atmosphere in the room feels like it's about to explode. He suddenly reaches out and grabs you by the arm, pulling you towards him with a sharp jerk. You are startled, but your adrenaline is already pumping, so you don't feel scared. Instead, you feel an uncontrollable rush of tension and anger as you look into his eyes.
You’re pulled against Aegon's body, your eyes locked on his. His breath is hot on your face and you can feel the heat rising off his body. He isn't letting go of you and neither are you, so you end up getting closer and closer until your bodies are pressed against each other. In that moment, all words escape you, all you can feel is the adrenaline coursing through your veins and the hot breath from his mouth against your skin. In that moment, the spell between you and Aegon is broken as you suddenly feel a forceful pull on your other arm, breaking the embrace and the tension of the moment. You turn to see your father, Daemon, pulling you away forcefully, clearly enraged.
"That's enough," he says sternly, holding you by the arm and pulling you away from Aegon. "You need to learn how to control yourself. It's not befitting of a woman to behave like that in front of men." "But Father, he was-" you begin to say, but Daemon cuts you off with a sharp look. "I don't care what he was doing," he says, not letting you finish your sentence. "You need to behave like a proper lady, not like some harlot." You feel a spike of anger shooting through your body as your father compares you to a harlot. You cannot help but feel offended and demeaned by his words, but you know it's useless to argue with him. He has made his position clear. You grit your teeth as you hear your father's words, you know that it's futile to protest. You just swallow down your pride and nod stiffly, not knowing what else to say in response. As Daemon lets go of your arm and turns away, you glance over at Aegon and catch a glimpse of his expression. There is a look of anger on his face and for a split second, you could've sworn you saw a flash of desire in his eyes. However, as soon as he notices you staring, he quickly composes himself and his face becomes stoic once again. There is a brief moment of silence between the two of you, but then he gives you a faint smile and steps back, walking away without another word. As you stand there, trying to process what just happened with Aegon, you notice that Aemond has also vanished from the scene. Both princes are gone, leaving you with the strange memory of the brief moment that you shared with Aegon.
⋅•⋅⊰∙∘☽༓☾∘∙⊱⋅•⋅
As the next day begins, you try your best to avoid everyone. You're still feeling the strange mixture of emotions and thoughts that surfaced from your encounter with Aegon last night, and you don't want to deal with the gossiping and the drama. You want to keep to yourself and process these events in private. You spend most of the day in your room, reading or doing something to distract yourself. You avoid interacting with other people as much as possible, trying to avoid talking about last night. But the more you avoid it, the more it haunts you. Later that day you decided to escape the castle and the gossiping by going to the Dragonpit, where you know you can get some peace and quiet with your dragon, Silverwing. It's a place where you can relax and meditate, and clear your mind after what happened last night. You head towards the Dragonpit, trying to avoid any run-ins with other people along the way.
When you arrive at the Dragonpit, you're relieved to find the area empty and peaceful. You walk slowly towards Silverwing's dwelling, taking deep breaths and letting the air fill your lungs. You feel better as you step inside the cave and approach your dragon. As you see her massive figure before you, you feel an immediate sense of calmness come over you. You feel safe and protected by Silverwing, and your spirits lift as you wrap your arms around her neck.
“That was quite the show last night.” You're startled when you hear Aemond's voice behind you. You turn around and see him leaning against the wall, a amused smirk on his face. You feel an immediate sense of embarrassment as you realize that he had witnessed your encounter with Aegon last night. "I must admit, I didn't have you pinned as the combative type." Aemond says, still smiling. His manner is light-hearted and teasing, but you can't help but feel self-conscious and embarrassed.
"What's that supposed to mean?" you ask Aemond, your face flush with shame and your eyes avoiding his. You feel like you've been caught doing something bad and you don't know how to respond to his playful comments. "Nothing, it was just amusing to see you take down Aegon like that." Aemond replies with a light chuckle. "He looked like he was ready to burst a vein in his head with rage." "Well, he was being rude." you say defensively. "He deserved it." "Did he though?" Aemond says, his gaze steady as he stares at you. "I mean, he was just doing what men do. That’s just how he shows affection. Was that the first time someone has ever flirted with you?" You raised an eyebrow, wondering if he’s stupid as well.
"I'm only joking," Aemond chuckles. "But seriously, were you not expecting him to hit on you like that? He's a prince, and you're a beautiful princess. Of course, he's going to try to charm you or court you. It's just the way he shows interest. I think it's rather cute." "Well, I didn't find it very cute." you reply harshly, still feeling irritated at how he's trying to brush off the encounter as harmless flirting. "What exactly didn't you find cute?" Aemond asks, his tone slightly smug as he stares at you, his face expressionless. "The way he leaned in close to you? The way he made a few lewd comments? Or was it the look he gave you when you called him a dick?" "Look, just drop it alright?" you say sharply, feeling even more embarrassed and flustered as Aemond continues to tease you. You can't help but feel that his smirk only makes the situation worse. "If you say so." Aemond says, still grinning. "But you gotta admit, you two had quite the little moment. I'm sure Aegon is still thinking about it." “Good.”
"Oh, you're not denying it?" Aemond chuckles. "So you actually did enjoy your little rendezvous with him, after all. I knew it." "No. I hope he is still thinking about me calling him a dick." "Why's that?" Aemond asks, his smirk lingering. "Don't you like having a man obsess over you? Come on, admit it." Aemond says, his smirk becoming a grin. "You must've liked him having a reaction to you. Did you not like his anger and his desire?"
As you got ready to mount Silverwing, Aemond has a mischievous look on his face, a smirk playing at his lips. He leans against the wall and waits for you to mount your dragon, curious to see what will happen next. You mount Silverwing and feel the dragon's body shudder under you as it steps forward. You can't help but feel powerful and confident as you sit astride the beast. Aemond is watching you carefully, a look of amusement on his face. "You know," Aemond says, his voice still teasing and light-hearted, "I could try to charm you myself, instead of letting Aegon hog all the attention." "Shut up." you reply harshly, feeling embarrassed and self-conscious in front of Aemond. You're not ready to admit that you'd like to have Aemond charm you, so for now, you just want him to stop his teasing.
"Sōvēs." And with that you flew off, leaving Aemond alone in the Dragonpit. As you soar into the air atop Silverwing, you feel the wind filling your hair and the sun's rays warming your back. The feeling of freedom and power is exhilarating and you feel like you could fly forever. Aemond's teasing voice is no longer heard below you, as you leave him behind in the Dragonpit.
