       he had only arrived in the village the day prior. sleeping under the canopy of trees had grown tiresome, even if they had reminded him of his times traveling with amy. a reminder of why he had ventured out in the first place. a world where amy would never have to suffer again. no more running, or hiding, no more foolish games. a long night’s rest at the inn had given him much needed energy, as did the bread he managed to get his hands on for the day. could have stood to have some jam or honey, but he couldn’t afford to be picky right now. the sound of the inn door opening had him turning his head to see whatever unfortunate soul had ventured in from the sunny autumn morning. a young lady, couldn’t have been but a few years older than amy, carrying a polearm of sorts on her back. she certainly wasn’t from around these parts, perhaps she came along the trade route that led further east. wasn’t equipped like a a merchant either. his curiosity gnawed at him as he turned back to his drink and bread, only occasionally glancing back every once in awhile at her, hoping she wouldn’t see him trying to figure out who she was or what brought her to this small village in the middle of nowhere. 

   HER DETERMINATION BUT ONLY WAVERED AT TIMES from the sound of her stomach’s mournful cries, as heavy feet but trudged its way past the open entrance of a welcoming enough inn then. A warm sight that she had least grown somewhat accustom to, as the journey itself went on. And while Mi-na had known from the beginning that this quest would not be an easy one, so would that RESOLVE REIGNITE itself. Especially when upon imagining her victorious return back home, with the SWORD OF SALVATION in hand.

   As she would heave a deep sigh with a heavy drop of her shoulders-- so would she then pause. Taking a quick peek at her purse of coins-- to see if there ACTUALLY were still some left in there. While she would fail to remain subtle in her relief (Especially when there were likely greedy eyes in every corner), she suppose it didn’t necessarily matter now. Especially now when FOOD was oh-so close for the taking! Turning back right after, as she began approaching the bar counter itself, and made her order. Man, if there was one thing that she certainly missed-- it was getting to wake up to a STEAMING BOWL of SAMGYETANG. Or some fresh KIMCHI that she could snack on, after a hard day’s of training. 

   Still, BEGGARS CAN’T BE CHOOSERS. At least not this late in. As she would offer a little thanks for the (Honestly really dry looking) bread set before her, Mi-na would bring it up to her lips as she began to look around... Noticing that there weren’t all that many others around, save for the innkeeper, herself... and one other guy who definitely wasn’t from around here either. And who was sneaking far too many glances in her direction, for her own liking.

   “... Hey.” While she could understand that she stuck out like a sore thumb, he didn’t need to keep staring the way he did, “Y'know staring’s rude, right?”

  Hi there, my name is BECKOWSKY and thank you so much for dropping by! This is an RP/Ask SIDEBLOG for SEONG MI-NA OF THE SOUL SERIES. All follows or asks will come through the hub blog OFHONORANDTRUST (Which I recommend you also follow if you haven’t yet).

  This is a shortened version of my rules (The full one can be found here) where the more important points are highlighted for everyone’s convenience.

I WILL ONLY FOLLOW IF:

I am familiar with your characters and what series they are from. (It is for personal reasons that I am not very open to OCs, unless I am familiar with the mun behind them)

You write in a similar enough style to mine (Meaning paragraphs).

You keep your posts clean enough, meaning that you cut them (3 replies per post is my limit), if you don’t cut your posts when asked nicely to, that results in an unfollow.

You can write with or without icons, but I will not be following blogs that use ginormous icons (That tend to occur with those that write through a mobile platform).

I WILL NOT FOLLOW IF:

You do not have a RULE PAGE and are not planning to make one.

You are from a fandom I am completely unfamiliar with.

This is just to keep my dash clean (Especially if you are spamming too many memes, OOC posts, aesthetics, etc.)

I don’t think our writing styles will click.

I feel uncomfortable with the content I see on my dash (Huge amounts of NSFW, crack, OOC, hate, negativity, etc.)

There are also folks in the RPC that I wish to avoid on here due to past bad experiences. So, if I see you actively interacting with one of them, I’m afraid that I won’t be following. And no, I will not be naming names.

ABOUT SHIPPING.

While Mi-na is open to ships, I tend to be really picky when it comes to her. This is due to the numerous bad experiences I have had with people trying to force a ship on me, and the fact that romance is kind of the last thing on Mi-na’s mind (As also proven by her constant distress towards being married off, when she wants to be her own woman). 

But yeah, if there is any noticeable chemistry and potential in terms of the relationship between our two muses, I will be more than happy to discuss it with you!

   I haven’t finished all the character stories just yet, but I can safely assume that Mi-na is the only one where the character herself actually narrates her own chapter. It’s adorable (Especially since it almost starts out like one of those 90s teen flicks, in regards to how she introduces herself), but also really shows how she’s kind of trapped in her own mind, especially with her desperate need to prove her worth to her own father and Hwang. 

   It’s really nice seeing that growth however, as everything begins to fall into place. How she learns from her own mistakes and realizes these things all on her own. She has always been portrayed as one of the more naive female fighters in the game, but never so much that she doesn’t eventually grow with the journey that she takes. Her relationship with her father and heck, her Master (Also a literal father figure) just resonates so much with me and... wow, I’m just so proud of her. 8′I

    “Or–here’s a crazy thought: you can LOWER your, uh… spear-sword-thingy–whatever that is–for a second and we talk.” True, thus far the girl didn’t SEEM to be… too hostile, barring the weapon she brandished, but something about shiny POINTY objects directed at the face of the dragon growling at his side didn’t help any case of friendliness on her part. Hiccup extended a hand off to the side to place it atop his companion’s nose, hold him at BAY as the night fury glared her down with animalistic CAUTION.

    “Look, he won’t hurt you; I promise. He’s just DEFENSIVE, but–better to wear off when he’s not face-to-face with a blade, don’t you think?”

   “Yeesh it’s a GUAN DAO, not a-- SPEAR-SWORD-THINGY! Save yourself the mouthful, pal!” REPTILIAN CREATURES were certainly the last thing that she had wanted to encounter (AGAIN) on this journey of hers. Even if this one-- upon further inspection-- would appear less revolting than the ones that she had come across in the past. It would even lack those hideous SLIT PUPILS to which those things had possessed. In fact, for something that was soooooooo... well, scaly. Mi-na couldn’t help but compare its gaze and overall appearance to that of a cat.

   Having initially scrutinized the two with evident DOUBT and SUSPICION upon her very features, Mi-na would eventually let out a loud sigh before finally lowering her weapon. He had a point there-- for as understandable as it was for her to have been as cautious as she was, a weapon to the face was not something she herself would be taking well, especially if the shoe had been on the other foot. With shoulders themselves dropping almost dramatically, she would resist the urge to tip her own head back in childish exasperation. Refusing to take her eyes away from them just yet, until she was absolutely, positively, 100 percent certain that it was A OKAY to do so. 

   “Alright then, what... is that thing? Some kinda LIZARD?” Or, well, more accurately-- no, she wasn’t going to say it, just yet. Not until this kid told her for herself what this thing she assumed to be his BATTLE PET was.

KICKS DOOR DOWN FOR PYRRHA'S BIRTHDAY-- Part 33 1/3!!! Mi-na would dismissively wave her hand at the young Grecian girl before taking a hold of her wrist. Already assuring her after the past two years that she would fix it-- for that would be far more important matters to attend to! "Alright! So I've got everything planned out this year! There's a festival going on downtown, with FOOOOD, clothes-- err, other cute stuff? You'll see!" Her treat, for the first time in forever, most importantly.

She figures that she should give up expecting Mi-na to fix her door.

Without so much as a word, Pyrrha is whisked away once more, with Mi-na apparently planning the whole day out in a… festival? She had to blink a few times at that. Pyrrha didn’t know that there was a festival going on currently, much less during her birthday. She tends to avoid… crowds, for experience’s sake… for starters. And for her own comfort. The list could go on if it could.

But since Mi-na has bothered to even plan this for her birthday, something that she has been touched by, then Pyrrha settled for staying close to her friend while they go to said festival. Who knows what it will bring? Perhaps it could even be fun.

“I-I hope the food will be good…!” she blurts out as she’s being pulled down to the festival. She’s trying to be more optimistic.

He wouldn’t take without giving something back in return, especially something as valuable as weapons training. He didn’t expect to come out a pro after this, but should a situation arise where he could make use of this future skill, he surely would.

Mi-na was eager to get started, and so Lars nodded his head with a prepared demeanour, “Learning a new art typically starts with the stance, doesn’t it?”

   A SNICKER FROM HIM, that would but of course, elicit one out of her. Perhaps, a much louder if not more OBNOXIOUS one, to boot. Ohhhh, what have you done, Larsy? This girl was gonna make sure that you can whoop anyone’s butt with this style alone, even with a BROOM in your hands!

   “You got that right! But first, it’s time to streeeetch! C’mon, Larsy, let’s do this!”  With her weapon set to the side for the time being, so commenced their warm ups, “And, don’t think I will go easy on you just because we’re friends!”

Lars wasn’t sure what he could offer her for the training. He could obviously pay her for her time, unless she wanted other compensation.

"You name it, I’ll see if I can do it for you.”

   “Heh, I knew you were gonna say something like that.”

   Good ol’ Larsy, always so fair and respectful. What a friend, what a pal, to be perfectly honest. Fighting a SMILE (It was funny how she didn’t really often do so) that was attempting to replace her present GRIN then, Mi-na was actually getting pumped up about getting to train with someone again!

   “But, alright, let meeeeee... give it a little thought. In the meantime, let’s do this!”

Before Pyrrha could say anything else, the woman ran off back into the building on her own. That left Pyrrha standing alone outside, confused as to what just happened or what she should do. She had said that she should wait out there while she drew the warriors that she spoke of, but… should she find somewhere to sit down, at the very least? She didn’t mind standing… or rather, she didn’t want to voice any concerns. Regardless of whatever she decides, all Pyrrha could do was wait.

   It wasn’t long before the rather determined woman returned to the young girl with a piece of parchment in hand. Some ink splatters were noticeable on her cheek and even her clothing, but she paid no mind to them for the time being as she proudly unrolled the piece of paper and showed her masterpiece (Complete with her very own signature by the side) to the innocent passerby then.

   “My memory is a little fuzzy but… yup, there you go!”
