It's a real bad sign when I'm working with students with intellectual disabilities and they start to remind me of grown ass adults I've known. Like, when some of them get mad, they don't understand that it's not an excuse to just take it out on other people, so when you confront them and ask "Why did you do that? He wasn't doing anything wrong to you," they'll just go "I'M MAD" as if it matters. I can't tell you how many people I've dated who behave the same way. It's fucking sad.
